Lovely home near Beziers, France. 2 adorable senior dogs need tender loving care

Introduction

Hi I’m a retired psychologist who has had a holiday house in France since 2007. We live in Lignan Sur Orb which is 4 kms north west of the city of Beziers. The village of Lignan has all the usual shops, boulangerie, pizzeria, Tabac, Butchers, an InterMarche supermarket and lots of others. Our house has 4 double bedrooms, 2 terraces and an enclosed swimming pool. We have 2 small Morkie dogs, brother and sister. Jolie has just turned 16 years and Louis is nearly 15 yrs. Jolie is nearly blind and her balance has gotten worse in the past couple of months , since she started having little absences. She needs to be brought out after she has had a drink to avoid little accidents. She can only walk now about 200 yds or so. Louis enjoys his daily strolls around the village or anywhere for that matter. He’s very fond of his fresh chicken dinners. They are very well behaved for old dogs and just lap up attention and tummy rubs.

Home & location

All mod cons, nice modern kitchen, lovely terraces and private swimming pool. 4 double bedrooms, large enclosed established garden. Only 4 kms from Beziers a very interesting city to explore. Loads of brochures in the house of nearby places to visit. Own car would definitely be an advantage for your stay. Secure parking space available outside the house. Lignan is a quiet village ideally situated between the Mediterranean sea 25 kms and the Gorge Du Heric 30 kms with outstanding scenic landscapes in between.

Responsibilities

To look after Jolie & Louis and bring Louis for a 30 minute walk each day. While Jolie can’t walk she enjoys being taken on his walks, carried in her little carrier. Unless it’s unusually hot, plants won’t need to be watered. The swimming pool will be maintained by the usual local man.
