Ellie & Jada looking for loving dog sitter to keep them company at home.

Introduction

We are retired & love to travel. When we take road trips, our two English Shepherds - Ellie & Jada usually come with us. But when we are farther away we must leave them home. When we are at home, the “girls” love their daily chuck-it games, playing with each other, attention & belly rubs. We hope to find sitter/sitters who would enjoy being with them & also enjoy staying at our beautiful home.

Home & location

We live in a beautiful 2400 sq ft single family house (3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths) on a quiet neighborhood street with views of the Puget Sound, Maury Island, & the Cascade Mountains. The backyard is secluded, fully fenced with a deck & waterfall feature. Sitters are free to use any part of our house while they stay. We do not have CCTV inside of outside our home. We are a 30 minute drive to SeaTac airport, 1 hour from downtown Seattle, 30 minutes to the Tacoma waterfront, 2 hours to Mount Rainier, & 5 minutes away from Dash Point State Park.

Responsibilities

Ellie & Jada are easy to care for. Their biggest requested daily routine is playing Chuck-it in the morning at a local field (1 mile from our house). Although we prefer dry weather, they don’t care as long as they get to run. They like to go for walks too, but “mom & dad” usually leave them home after their run to rest (much to their disappointment). Weather permitting we will play ball with them in the backyard later in the day. Otherwise they are content to sleep, but are always open to having attention & belly rubs. We feed them twice a day, and they go outside to potty every 4-6 hours. We have indoor plants that need water once a week. In the summer we have numerous outdoor flower pots that need frequent watering depending on the weather conditions.
