Spacious Park City home in beautiful neighborhood near trails and playing fields
Introduction
My husband and I are retired and LOVE where we live in Park City, but we also love to travel. Les Paul is our 13 year old mutt and we have not put him in a kennel in many years. He loves his people and his home and we feel much more comfortable when we can leave him at home in good hands. He is pretty laid back and easy to care for.

We have a big beautiful home located next to trails and open space just outside Park City proper. The area itself has a lot to offer from skiing in the winter to hiking and biking in the summer. We live right on a groomed xcountry ski trail, which in the summer is a biking/walking trail. We are a 5 min walk to pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts as well as soccer fields. We are close to grocery stores and many restaurants. We have beautiful mountain views and a big yard with bbq and fire pit. Our house also has 5 active outdoor cameras that can be accessed remotely.

We typically do not leave him alone for more than 6 hours at a time during the day or evening. Les Paul is easy going and loves to walk, sniff and explore. Now that he is older however we don't tend to take him for more than a 2-3 mile hike/walk. He is not high energy, he typically ignores other dogs on his walks. He mostly just loves being with his people, in the house and he will follow you from room to room. Now that he is older he sleeps a lot too. Typically we walk Les Paul in the morning about 7-8 am, then feed him. Then another similar walk 4-6 pm, feed him again. Otherwise he is pretty independent. If you are home he will ask to go out in the yard alone from time to time for a few minutes just to hang in the grass or snow. Besides hanging with Les Paul we would ask you to water some plants and get the mail every couple of days.

Everything about this sit was easy. From our initial contact until I arrived at the house, the communication was smooth. I visited Barb the day before the sit started to meet Les Paul, tour the house, and review the instructions. In addition to the Welcome Guide, she had a folder with other instructions, as well as trail maps and local information. Barb’s home is beautiful and in a wonderful, safe neighborhood. It’s very convenient to restaurants and shopping, including grocery stores and the outlets, as well as downtown Park City. I often worked on my computer at the dining room table in order to enjoy the amazing view of the still snow-covered mountains (it’s mid-May). There are so many trails right out the door, Les Paul and I walked on different ones and in different directions every day. Les Paul is the ideal pet pal . . . adorable, sweet, and undemanding. Although he didn’t sleep in bed with me, he spent the nights on the loveseat or the floor right next to me. After a few days, he started staying near the dining room table when I was working there, rather than his usual hangouts in other rooms. He was always happy to share the couch and likes just being around you. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay with Les Paul again.
