We spent three weeks with Coco and took her to our hearts right from the start! She is very easy to care for and has a great character - you can only love her! She always wanted to be near us and was very cuddly. Her cheerful greeting in the morning always put us in a good mood to start the day and even when we went out without her and came back, the joy was great. She is neither too energetic nor too calm - the perfect mix for us. Lynn and Paul gave us a very warm and friendly welcome and immediately made us feel at home. On the day we arrived, we had dinner together and were able to chat and get to know each other. Both took a lot of time and endeavoured to explain everything important about the house and beyond. For example, Lynn took us out in her car the following day and showed us the beach, her favourite restaurants and her preferred routes for walks with Coco. Lynn and Paul were always available to answer any questions we had, as we were in contact via WhatsApp the whole time. Regarding the surrounding area, everything important (supermarkets, restaurants and cafés, pharmacy etc.) is no more than a 5-minute walk away. The beach (including surf school) can also be reached on foot in 15-20 minutes and is a real highlight with its orange-red cliffs in the background. Other beautiful places such as Albufeira, Faro or Vilamoura are also easy to access by bus or Uber. All in all, we had a wonderful time with Coco in the Algarve and can only recommend this housesitting experience! Many thanks again to you, Lynn and Paul, and hopefully see you soon!
