Look after two beloved dogs and house in Adeje Tenerife

We have taken early retirement and like to travel, our two gorgeous dogs love their home and prefer to be here instead of ‘doggie hotels’.....they are easy to look after and only require regular cuddles, food and exercise. They enjoy running around the garden and playing. We’ve been in this scheme a while and have met some really lovely people.

The accommodation for potential house sitters comprises of a self contained apartment. We are situated in Adeje and have a bus stop directly outside, therefore access to Los Cristianos or Los Gigantes (either way, as we’re between the two!) is easy. Car hire may be advisable as Tenerife is a beautiful island to explore. The weather is usually warm, all year around which is lovely.

This really is a special sit. Rico and Ronnie are two of the cuddliest, sweetest, gentle and loving dogs you could wish to meet. They stay with you in the apartment under the house which they seem to really like. It was definitely hard to leave this duo! The location is pretty perfect as you have a bus stop right outside the property and a bus which goes up and down the coast, which holds many secrets and surprises. So many lovely beaches and coves, wonderful hiking which we discovered. The property itself has a gorgeous view over the banana plantation to the sunset each night over La Gomera. It’s the sunny side of the island with calmer seas, although you do have to be a little sensible at the local beach of Callao Salvage where the undertow is stronger. Trevor and Rosie will make sure you have everything you need for your sit, they picked us up from the airport and took us to a huge supermarket on the way back to stock up on food which was very handy. There are local smaller supermarkets too well stocked. Despite being outside of the village it’s very easy to get around and feel connected. A five star sit all round, I would say one of my all time favourites!

I had a wonderful stay in Adeje. Rico and Ronny were wonderful dogs to take care of. I'm going to miss them. I was able to spend a few days before and after the sit with Rosemary and Trevor. They are fantastic people and made me feel comfortable and at home, from the first moment I met them. I highly recommend them and would dog sit for them again.

Trevor and Rosemary are both genuinely kind people. Their communication was fabulous from the onset, they made us feel relaxed and excited about our sit. The accommodation a two bed flat was very comfortable and well equipped. Their chill out lounge was amazing with beautiful sea views. Best of all Ronnie and Roco their two very loving dogs, at first Roco was a bit quiet but soon settled, Ronnie settled straight away enjoying all the cuddles and attention. They are definitely people dogs and enjoy human company with lots of love and cuddles

It was a great pleasure for us to sit for Rosy and Trevor. With Rico and Ronny we had to sit sooo lovely and easy going dogs - it was realy hard to give them back ;). They are 'good as gold' and when we walked them around there was no day where people did't envy us for this lovely two. Rosy and Trevor are great hosts, they picket us up at he airport and also introduced us to their friends in the village so it was easy for us to join the community. They provided us a nice fully equipped apartment with our own privacy. We enjoyed our stay here very much and can recommend it with all possible stars(!). We would love to come back again.
