House Sitter Needed in Oklahoma
Introduction
Hello! We are a family of four with two cats. I'm a librarian and my husband is an ios engineer. The cats are cats and have no jobs except to be cute. We need a sitter because one of the cats needs to have a low stress life and putting them in a kennel would definitely not meet that. We also like the idea of having someone here at the house while we are gone.

Our home is located in a new subdivision in Norman, Oklahoma. It's close to lots of services but nice and quiet. We have a mother-in-law suite for sitters and high-speed internet with many streaming channels. Norman is a college town with a vibrant nightlife and lots of good restaurants. The main responsibilities will be feeding the cats twice a day and cleaning the litterbox once a day. There are a few plants that could need watering. The cats get fed once in the morning and once around dinner time. Brie is very sweet and will accept pets at any time. Geronimo is...complicated. He can be very snuggly but will be standoffish with new people.

Sadie and Pierre spoiled us for our first housesit. They left really thorough instructions about the house, the cats, and nearby restaurants, and stayed in constant communication with us. When we told them we would be working from home, they made sure a desk was cleared, and tipped us off to which office chair was most comfortable. The house was in a new development area when we stayed, so while there was lots of construction, the neighborhood will be beautiful within a year. There's a walking trail nearby and you're not far from restaurants and other activities. The house itself is beautiful - extremely clean and tidy - keeping it that way was simple. As for the cats, who couldn't love two furballs! Brie took a few days to warm up to us but eventually let us pet her belly and even chased us down to do so. Geronimo was shy the entire time but would watch us from afar. With a little more time, we think he would have been just as cuddly :). It's always hard to leave new friends behind! 10/10 would sit again.
