Looking for a cat/house sitter in Arroyo Grande at the end of April/early May.
Introduction
My husband and I have lived in Arroyo Grande for a year post retirement. We are hoping to do more traveling in our retirement years. We have 2 cats that will need a sitter to stay in our home and continue to baby them as we do. They are indoor/outdoor kitties. One is older and very affectionate. The other is a teenager and a bit skittish with strangers at first but warms up in a hurry . We love the Arroyo Grande area because of its easy access to beaches, mountains, hikes and farmer's markets.

Quiet neighborhood in a secluded area within a 2 mile drive to the village of Arroyo Grande and 5 miles away from Pismo Beach. The sitter would have access to the whole house including inside garage parking. The area has great hiking, farmer's markets and plenty of walking right in the neighborhood.

Feed cats fancy feast twice daily and clean litter boxes. They both like some brushing and the older one Cloud is an affectionate lap cat. Water some plants. Feed and water wild birds

Extraordinary, stellar and purely wonderful. And, that’s an understatement. My time here was beyond beautiful, on every level. Those sweet darling kitties are so good-natured and well-behaved, and such a pleasure to care for. I miss my Cloud cuddles already, and Lil Ms Jen Jen’s cuteness. They were my lil garden buddies too, which I loved! Everything was so easy; I was left with clear, concise instructions and communication was always fast. Cathy and Jay are the loveliest humans, and made me feel like a Queen with an abundance of kindness and generosity. Their home is very special, and has every comfort and luxury you could dream of (sparkling clean hot tub overlooking spectacular sunsets?!). The cleanest home I’ve ever stayed in, (plus beautifully decorated with some of Cathy’s amazing artworks) and in a super safe, quiet, and friendly neighbourhood. So much to do nearby, but you’ll probably struggle to leave the fur babies and gorgeous home..you’ve got everything you could want ☺️🐈🐈 It was hard to leave! Highly recommend.

A fabulous house-sit! Our time here was about as perfect as house-sits come! Cathy and Jay treated us so well – we felt welcome in their home and were encouraged to use all the luxuries their newer home offers. The views from the home are stunning. We enjoyed our meals on the deck (comfortable temperatures outside in November!), observing all the birds that visit their bird-feeders and the wildlife passing by in the open space visible from their home. Communication was smooth and easy. Their on-boarding briefing was detailed, thorough, and very professional. During their trip they responded promptly to any comment or picture we sent – they were always available and we enjoyed their good humor and jovial communication style. The cats are probably the best cats anywhere, ever. Cloud is affectionate and is usually close enough to trip over. Jeni enjoys play (she loves her tunnel!), and slept on our bed with us most nights. They know to come inside in the evening and we had no difficulty locating them in the house or nearby in the yard during the day. Our short house-sit was over much too quickly. Great hosts, an amazing home, and loving pets make this a gem of a house-sit which is easy to recommend and one we would enthusiastically repeat.

This was the perfect sit with beautiful cloud, fluffy guy that he is…such a sweetie. We spent lots of lap time together. I’d like to think I am his bestie (after Food, of course!) And little Ginny is the teenager of the two. She is so feisty and funny when we played together! The home was beautiful and the owners were so accommodating and trusting, as they were quite far away during this sit. I’d take this sit again in a heartbeat! I didn’t want to leave!!
