Dogs come first. South West France
Introduction
I am retired and live in SW France with my husband and 3 dogs who we both adore. I don't travel a lot (quite happy at home with my mutts) but need to be able to leave my dogs occasionally for a break. I would be happier with a couple to look after my dogs. With three big dogs I think a single person would struggle.

A converted barn/ wine cave with 4 en suite bathrooms. Large garden fully fenced. In a hamlet with a few other houses around. Close to village with all amenities. Lots of wine tasting close at hand plus old bastide villages. Toulouse 45miutes by car.

Feeding dogs twice a day (breakfast then late afternoon). Walking them locally at least once a day. Maintain the pool. Water outdoor plants if necessary.

Ruth and Malcolm are excellent hosts, I was made to feel very welcome and had two excellent meals. The time we took to familiarise with the dogs was time well spent and led to a smooth transition for all. Time was taken to show me some of the surrounding area before they left which was also a great help. I would recomend a sit with Ruth and Malcolm without reservation.
