Responsibilities

In the morning check her food and if necessary fill up the bowls. She has both wet and dry food. Chicken is her favourite. She likes to go out first thing in the morning. She often stays away for about 2-3 hours at a time during the day and then rushes back for a snack and to check if someone is home. This is her daily pattern. Her favourite spots are in the grasses in front of our neighbours. We often go out during the day and she’s perfectly fine. There is a cat flap linked to a chip implant in her neck. At night when she comes in we close it so she doesn’t go out again. This is for her safety to ensure that she doesn't get into squabbles with other cats. She usually has a good feed then and settles down in the lounge with us. If you can make sure that she’s snug in her blankie on the couch she’ll stay there for most of the night. Some nights she gets onto the bed as soon as we’re settled. She usually sleeps on the duvet but some early mornings she’ll come to the top and ‘ask’ to get under the covers. We will arrange for someone to mow the lawn and since it's winter and not too hot, watering of the the bulbs and some plants in ornamental pots outside, will be minimal. Inside the house we have 2 plants and one on the deck.
