Carmel, California - 3 Senior Dogs need Love and TLC
Introduction
I am a newly divorced dog Mom (no children of my own) who is taking some time off from my high-tech career to enjoy friends and traveling for the next few months. My favorite breed is "rescue," and I take in older pups and special needs dogs. I have three, well-behaved, senior chihuahua mixes (littles.) I tend to be a helicopter dog mom, and very aware of dangers with larger breeds and my Kasper's tendency to escape.

My property consists of a Mediterranean style main house (3 bedrooms + 2 baths) ~ 2,000 square feet and a guest cottage that is ~ 900 sq. feet. The main home was built in 1930 and apparently served as a Boar Hunting Lodge in the 1930s; My sitter will stay in the guest cottage or extra bedroom in main house, depending on your preference. All beds in home are new! My home has a lovely sun deck on the roof with a firepit, and 3 other fireplaces on the premises. The home is warm, cozy, gated and has a lovely kitchen for cooking and is over-decorated with lots of paintings and art! I have distant ocean views. The property is in Carmel Highlands, California, in the neighborhood behind the "Highlands Inn" in Carmel. It is off Highway 1, and 4 miles to downtown Carmel, and 1 mile from gorgeous Point Lobos State Park. Big Sur is a 30 minute drive down Hwy 1. **NOTE! My home is undergoing some renovations, but I will discuss before booking! There is nothing going on that would make your visit unfun or noisy!

* Feed all 3 dogs 2x day * Walk Kasper ~ 30 min morning/evening (Kasper in excellent health!) * Apache is special needs; Has a prefilled med box with meds 2x day; He has a seizure disorder and generally low energy * Mo is basically my Hospice dog; He is ~19; Mo needs help pooping - hold his hind end up - because his back legs are not strong; He is blind and deaf; He is confined to a caged area in the house, and pee pads must be changed out in his kennel several times per day.
