Smallholding in the beautiful Seine Maritime, Normandy France
Introduction
My husband and I live in the beautiful countryside in Normandy. We have a large family of pets including 4 horses, 4 donkeys, 5 goats, 7 sheep, 3 pigs, 5 dogs, 3 cats and an aviary of budgies. Our daughter is getting married in June so we need a reliable animal lover who can care for our and and explore the beautiful towns, villages and countryside surrounding our home.

Our home is a ancient Normandy Colombage house with lots of character, sat in the middle of a 6 hectares plot. We have only just moved in , so it is a 'work in progress ', but has all home comforts one would expect, it is in an isolated position just outside a small village, but is only 5 minutes drive to the beautiful town of Forges les Eau, 20 minutes from the equally beautiful town of Lyons les Foret. We are also within 40 minutes drive to Rouen, an hour from the pretty port town of Dieppe, with it's pretty marina surrounded by restaurants. Paris is 2 hours drive. Caen and Calais are both within 2 hours drive.

We hope to find somebody who will treat our animals as family. All our animals will need feeding, some once a day, others twice a day. Our elderly horses and one of our elderly pigs and one of our arthritic sheep will need medication and supplements in their food. All our horses, donkeys and farm animals live out and come and go as they please do are easy to manage. We have rubber mats in the stables, we would like the stables poo- picked once a day. The dogs can stay out during the day while you go out and explore the area.
