Ring of Kerry, Dog sitter required in Sneem village. Ireland
Introduction
My name is Karen, My husband and I have had Stanley for 8 years and adopted Toby from a rescue centre, he is 3 now. Both are cavachons and have great lovable personalities. We usually leave our pets to other family members when going abroad but this time its a big family holiday. My mothers dog, Alfie will be included with our two boys - So three in total. We thought our holiday house in Sneem would be an ideal location for a petsitter, as it has some lovely walks, its peaceful, relaxing and all our dogs love it down there. Its a such a beautiful part of the world. We live in Co. Limerick and will drop the dogs to Kerry for the time needed. Its possible if the dates don't suit to arrive a day or two in advance or stay a little later but the dogs will be there on the dates specified. Any questions please get in touch.

The bungalow is ideally situated in the pretty little village of Sneem on the scenic Ring of Kerry. Only a two minute walk into the village. It boasts a remote relaxed way of living with friendly locals and great walks. Local transport is not great so a car would be beneficial if you wanted to explore more of the surrounding areas or go to the larger supermarkets in Kenmare town. Sneem has a couple of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants along with two hotels. The bungalow has three bedrooms, large sitting room with open fire & smart tv, living/dining room also with a tv, kitchen with electric cooker and bathroom with electric shower/bath. Basic wifi to allow surfing the web or watching netflix. Oil heating. There is a large garden area with a river running along side it. Nearby beach of Derrynane in Caherdaniel is a little piece of paradise! Plenty of walks around the village. Neighbours and the locals are very friendly and helpful.

Responsibilities of the house sitter is mainly to give as much attention, cuddles and play time to our three dogs. They are quite happy with some short walks. They love company but its ok to leave them alone for short times in the house as they like to sleep and have naps too! They have full access of the whole house and often sleep on a bed! Usually fed two small meals a day. Other responsibilities include just keeping the house tidy and maybe water the odd plant.

This was such a beautiful sit. All the puppies warmed my heart tremendously. Alfie, Toby and Stanley just wanted love - and love they got! We shared a bed, they'd give kisses and hugs - literally, and boy did they make me laugh. Walking and playing was a delight, and Karen and her Mum where likewise so wonderful. They're the kindest! Communication was a breeze and they were incredibly hospitable. I'd definitely sit for them again, anytime. Highly recommend.

I had a really lovely week down in Sneem minding the three doggies. They all had a great temperament and played well together but also loved the comfort of snuggling in their cosy beds by the fire. The house was very comfortable with amazing views of the mountains in the distance. It was right in Sneem village with great walks nearby. The surrounding area is wonderful to explore with lots of interesting places to visit. I would highly recommend looking after Alfi, Stanley and Toby if the opportunity arises. Brenda Gallagher
