House sitter required to care for our two friendly miniature Dachshunds

Introduction

Hi there we are Michael and Lorraine. We live in the North East of Scotland and have two grown up children aged 24 years and 19 years old. Michael works for an oil company and I ( Lorraine) is self employed in the hospitality industry. We have been married for 25 years and to celebrate we have organised a family holiday over the Christmas period from 26th December returning home on the 10th January. We have two friendly miniature dachshunds called Reggie ( 11years) & Charlie (4years)Charlie and Reggie love to sit on your lap and have lots of cuddles. There is lots to see and do within our immediate area, beautiful walks and hills surround us, championship golf courses and historical castles and other landmark sites are within an hours drive. Our former Queen Elizabeth's favourite home Balmoral is just over an hours drive from us. Royal DeeSide is a beautiful part of Scotland and well worth a visit. Our dogs travel in the car therefore there would be no problems taking them with you for a day out exploring. Things to do in Aberdeenshire If you love spending time in the great outdoors then you are certainly spoiled for choice in Aberdeenshire. From beautiful woodland walks to far-reaching sandy beaches, there are plenty of incredible places that showcase the true beauty of Scotland. There's a plethora of impressive castles to visit within this region, spread from coast to countryside, including Dunnottar Castle, Craigievar Castle and Balmoral Castle to name a few! If you are looking for some fun-filled activities then why not try your hand at a round of golf? Known as the home of golf, Scotland has a range of fantastic golf courses, many of which can be found in Aberdeenshire such as Cruden Bay, (3rd oldest Course in the World), & Trump International Golf Links both located within a 25 minute drive from our home. This region is home to the world famous 'Aberdeen Angus beef' and offers fresh locally- sourced produce including outstanding seafood - whilst an array of bespoke distilleries create superb beers and spirits. The BrewDog HQ is located 20 minutes drive from our home.

Responsibilities

Both Reggie and Charlie have breakfast about 7-7.30am. Charlie is the greediest one so he will soon tell you when he is hungry. They have supper at about 5pm. Neither Reggie or Charlie need any medication. Both enjoy walks but always on the lead. We cannot trust them off lead as they are two adventurous. They love away in the car and have their own car seats but they equally enjoy staying at home. In addition to caring for our two boys we would only ask any housesitter to respect our home and keep it in a clean and tidy condition. House sitters would have full use of our home other than our working office, which has to remain locked for insurance purposes when we are away.
