Two Young Female Maine Coons need house sitter
Introduction
Hi, I am Barbara and live in Kemp Town, Brighton and would be really happy to talk to people interested in sitting for my cats and see how it all pans out. So, about my place: Kemp Town is a colourful part of the city (Time Out recently placed it No 26 Coolest Neighbourhood in the world!) and my house is just two streets from the sea and a 20 minute walk to the centre of town. Local shops are a few minutes walk away. My two cats are pretty well adjusted and easy to look after so an easy gig!

A terraced Victorian house, with 3 /4 beds and 2 bathrooms, a courtyard and an Aga - so that may take some getting used to! The village shops are very close by and include many bakers, a butchers, greengrocers and Boots - to name a few! So everything is on hand - including a pub opposite which in the 25+ years that i have lived here has never been a problem.

The normal cat care duties - feeding, making sure water bowls are full with fresh water and daily clearing of the litter tray. In the summer, the plants in the courtyard will (hopefully if it is warm and sunny) need watering. Both cats are happy and content and are not very demanding, so should be easy to look after.

It was truly a pleasure to spend time with Barbara in her lovely home, she's one of the kindest, most generous people I've ever met. I loved our chats about everything and nothing and her lemon cake is delicious! What can I say about beautiful Savvy and playful Izzy? Savvy had me with tears of joy when she slept on my pillow with her head on my head in the middle of the night and you can't help but giggle at Izzy when she demands to be fed and petted in the most Queenly of ways. They were both an utter delight to care for and I'm so looking forward to sitting again in April and May. Highly recommended sit ++

We absolutely loved looking after Barbara's cats Izzy and Savvy. They were the most beautiful kitties. We loved their little chirps and sweet meows. They were really adorable, beautifully soft and fun to watch. They are easy going cats and a delight to be around. Barbara was so welcoming and friendly - she's such a lovely kind person with a big heart. We loved her big, cosy, comfortable home close to the sea. There's always a colourful adventure to be had in Brighton too. Thank you Barbara, Izzy and Savvy for making our stay so wonderful. We enjoyed meeting you so much!

Having had a lengthy and very funny conversation with Barbara, I was thrilled that she asked me to care for her astonishingly gorgeous cats, and her lovely house in fabulous Kemptown. Everything was made completely clear over a really jolly supper together...Barbara is a total joy, immensely funny and fascinating. We kept in touch whilst she was in Portugal, but I missed her more than her cats did! My room was delightful, every thought of comfort covered, not surprisingly. Slept really well, such a treat. I just loved the coziness of the Aga in Barbaras' sitting room and state of the art new kitchen, so didn't feel the need to venture out much! Hope to be asked back.

Barbara was a joy to sit for! Her house is lovely, the cats sweet and affectionate, and you have all the information you need in a very well organised folder. Barara is also an Airbnb Host, so I got to be the host while she was away, which was really enjoyable. It was great to meet new people, and I must add Barabra is particular about who she lets to on Airbnb, plus she checked with me first before accepting any bookings. This is kind of her, but that's the person she is - considerate, caring and also great company! If I had any questions, she was very quick to answer. The house is super clean, wifi fast (important to me as I run my business online) and the location is perfect. You can take a stroll dowwn to the seafront in a few minutes, there's plenty of shops for all you need and one of the best That restaurants I've ever been to. You can get tto tthe centre of Brighton with a 20 minute walk. I would sit again for Barbara in a flash. Top quality sit.
