Our home is set in beautiful gardens on the Solway Coast in Dumfries + Galloway; an area considered one of Scotland's best kept secrets. We are located one mile from the picturesque sailing village of Kippford where you will find the coastal walking path and two local pubs and a cafe. The surrounding area offers a wide range of country and outdoor pursuits including sailing, hiking, mountain biking, riding and trail running, to name a few. There are sandy beaches, coves and hidden caves waiting to be explored. The neighbouring towns of Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright offer charming gift shops, local produce restaurants and culture. Dalbeattie is 2 miles away and handy for convenience stores as well as a great fish and chip shop.

- ensure the wellbeing of our very friendly and entitled (!) dogs (feeding, puppy snuggles, chats etc.) - daily routine of dogs: wake up around 7ish, take them into the garden for the toilet, breakfast after. Around 10 they would probably like a walk - you can drive to the forest or the beach and they would manage max 25 mins. They will sleep all afternoon, bedtime toilet visit in the garden around 6 and then 9 before bedtime. They sleep in the kitchen without a fuss. - Dolly and Elton are very friendly and like to have people close to them - putting bird feed out / watering plants in the house - enjoying our home, garden and surroundings!
