Responsibilities

Our pets have relatively minimal needs. The dogs are fed twice a day and need a daily walk of at least 30 minutes. They can be walked on our street (rural with low traffic) or on the lovely trails behind our house. Both dogs take daily medication, but they are pills the dogs will easily take with a pill pouch (or by shoving the pill in a hunk of hot dog). The pool area behind our house is fenced, and we let the dogs out the back door to go to the bathroom and get fresh air (you won't need to go outside multiple times per day, just let them out the door). They sleep a lot and love snuggles on the couch. The cats joined our home during the pandemic and aren't very social with guests, so you may not see them too much but may be able to lure them out with stick toys. They need their litter box cleaned daily and to be fed twice a day. They eat a combo of dry and canned food. They are indoor/outdoor cats and will ask to be let out depending on the weather. They come back for meals, and we always keep them in at night. A neighbor will plow the driveway if it snows while you're house sitting.
