Taking care of pets with therapeutic views near the gorges of Aveyron.

Introduction

I settled down 3 years ago on this hill near the medieval village of Saint-Antonin Noble Val, in the gorges of Aveyron, after living 20 years in Los Angeles, CA, where I raised my 2 boys and worked on cameras in movie making. I've been working a lot on the property to redo the house and make it very confortable and take care of the 20 acres of land attached. I brought back my cat Lili -6 yo- from LA and here I adopted 2 dogs, siblings, Luna and Milo, 18 months old. I need to get away time to time to visit friends and family when they can't make it here and also just to get away to recharge my batteries. Je me suis installée il y a 3 ans sur cette colline à 5 km de Saint-Antonin Noble Val, un joli village médiéval dans les gorges de l'Aveyron, après avoir vécu 20 ans à Los Angeles en Californie où j'ai élevé mes 2 fils et travaillé à la caméra dans le cinéma. J'ai travaillé à refaire la maison et la rendre très confortable et je me suis occupée des 10 ha qui y sont attachés. J'ai ramené ma chatte Lili, 6 ans, de Los Angeles et adopté ici 2 chiens, frère et soeur, Milo et Luna, 18 mois. J'ai besoin de partir de temps à autre pour aller voir des amis ou de la famille quand ils ne peuvent pas venir ici, ou juste pour aller recharger mes batteries ailleurs.

Home & location

The house is very confortable with a chef-kitchen fully equipped, a choice of 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, a living-room with home cinema and a fire place. The heating system is very reliable and steady. They is a pool outside, not heated but usable even in winter if you like Wim Hof like cold baths. The breathtaking view offers a 180 degrees panorama. And lots of trails to walk around. Caves and rivers, 2 farmers markets per week at the medieval village. La maison est très confortable, avec une cuisine pour chef très bien equipée, un choix de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain, un salon avec home cinema et cheminée. La maison est chauffée par une pompe à chaleur et des radiateurs en fonte. Il y a une piscine extérieure non chauffée mais utilisable même en hiver si vous êtes adeptes des bains froids comme Wim Hof. La vue est somptueuse et offre un panorama à 180 degrés. Beaucoup de chemins aux alentours et de circuits de randonnées. des grottes et des rivières, des villages médiévaux, 2 marchés hebdomadaires à St Antonin.

Responsibilities

The sitters will have to walk the dogs a good hour a day or more if they want, feed the dogs and the cat, and make sure the house and the pool stay clean.
