Schnauzer Fun in Woodhall Spa

Introduction

I am a retired psychologist living alone with my two miniature schnauzers. I love to travel but need to feel my dogs are in safe hands.

Home & location

Woodhall Spa is a lovely village half way between Lincoln and Boston. It has its own cinema and leisure centre with open air swimming pool. There are a whole range of shops and cafes within walking distance, a library and several pubs and restaurants. There are lots of walks, many off road, so safe for dogs to be off lead. Around the Kinema are extensive woods and there are excellent walks from the local Cottage Museum. An hourly bus takes you into Lincoln or to Boston. Alternatively it will take you to Metheringham Station with regular trains into Lincoln and beyond.

Responsibilities

Feeding and walking dogs. Playing with them and cuddling up in the evening. Whizz is an independent character who likes exploring. He is safe off lead and has good recall but can go off on his own for a bit of a wander before coming back. He enjoys tug games and loves his toys but has no interest in ball games. Daisy is much more placid and easy going. She loves to be petted and will go to any adult. She is obsessed with food and will eat almost anything.
