55m2 wooden chalet on camping with lots of nature that will give you vacation vibes instantly! We are still working on the outside of the chalet (outside woodwork & garden) but it’s ready to enjoy on the inside. We have a 2 bedroom chalet. 1 room with a queen size 160x200cm bed or you can separate it into 2 beds 1 (kids) room with a bunk bed with 2 90x200cm beds Nice living with a 140x200cm bed sofa, kitchen with dining table for 4 persons. Bathroom with toilet, bath & shower. Small storage room with a washing machine, fridge, etc. We have air conditioning in the living room and all rooms have heathers. It’s a wooden chalet so bring warm socks & an extra sweater to stay warm if it’s cold outside. Enough blankets are available. Hot water, heaters, and the kitchen stove come from gas tanks. Because we use gas tanks for a longer stay you need to change the empty gas tanks at the camping store nearby. Because of the location, you'll need a car on longer stays (3 weeks+) to refill the gas tanks. It’s possible to stay here by public transfer on shorter stays (1-3 weeks) but you’ll be a bit far from grocery shops etc. (Although we have a biological farm shop selling everything you could need next to the camping open on wed+sat) It’s a 15-20 min walk to the bus.

- Walk Freya 3-4 times a day for 10+ min (we live next to a small forest) Minimum schedule: 1. morning 8-10 am (10+ min forest walk) 2. lunch break 1-2 pm (5-10 min walk to pee or in the garden) 3. diner walk 5-6 pm (10+ min forest walk) 4. bedtime walk 10-11pm (5 min walk to poop & pee) *If you have time and feel like it you can do 1 longer 1-2 hr walk with Freya in the forest nearby. - Feed Freya once a day and make sure shehave water all day - Give Freya a treat every day - Mow the grass if needed - On more extended stay: Check the roof in autumn for leaves blocking the drain pipes - On more extended stay (3+ weeks): Get refills for the gas tanks at the camping shop nearby (10 min drive, car needed) Extra info about the dogs: Freya is a super sweet dogs. She needs a little time to trust you. Freya does not like most men (trust issues? haha), so a female sitter is preferred. Or a couple at least. She will not bark or bite but she will hide under the chairs if she feels uncomfortable with a man. With enough time, patience, love, and dog treats, eventually, she will start liking you. Unfortunately, I can not accept solo male housesitters for this reason. Freya loves a long forest walk but is also happy with a minimum of 3-4 short walks a day if you're busy or it's a rainy day. Freya is very easy going and happy. She goes well with other dogs and does not bark. If you are bonded she can run free in the forest.

We really enjoyed this house sit! Nala and Freya are real sweethearts once they get used to you. They love to walk, cuddle and play. They listen very well although sometimes they can argue a bit like real sisters do. The chalet is very cozy and is located in a quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature. We loved walking here and really felt at peace. Maaike is a super nice host! Upon arrival she showed and explained everything to us. Also the contact in between was very pleasant. We definitely recommend this house sit! 😄

I really enjoyed staying at Maaike's chalet with Nala and Freya. The location is very quiet, with lots of beautiful surrounding forests to walk in. I really enjoyed being away from the busy city and feeling close to nature. Freya and Nala are such cute little doggos, and were incredibly affectionate after they warmed up to me over a couple of days. Maaike was a great host, she showed me around when I arrived and told me everything I needed to know. She was relaxed and easy to communicate with. Thank you for having me, it was a very enjoyable experience 😊
