We are Tim and Boo from England but now living in Normandy, France. We live in an old farmhouse with our dog and 2 cats. We also have a goose and hens. We are semi retired and want to be able to travel knowing our animals will be looked after by caring people

A 250 year old farmhouse, in rural Normandy. Garden and 4 acres meadow. Local village 5km for mini market, pharmacy, bank etc, supermarket and more shops 10km. Domfront is a beautiful medieval town with restaurants. Good roads to ferry ports (England), beaches, and beautiful countryside.

The hens and goose need to be let out of their house in the mornings and fed. Widget likes to go for a walk around the meadow (often accompanied by a cat). The Cats and Widget are fed once a day, about 5-6 pm. The goose and hens are also fed. An ideal time to collect the eggs, delicious, so eat as many as you can The hens and goose will go into the hen house around dusk and can be locked in then. We have a vegetable garden and plant pots in front of the house that will need watering if no rain. Help yourself to the vegetables

What a great sit! Tim and Boo welcomed us into their homes with open arms the day before they went away. This gave us a great opportunity to meet the family of animals and get to know their routines. Lilly and Arthur fell head over heels in love with Widget and Jack and loved taking care of the chickens, Jordan and the 4 cats. Jack gives the best back massages and is such a lovely character. The cats all have their own unique personalities and whilst Widget may be small, he is larger than life. The veggie plot is amazing (we were spoilt for choice!) and if you love the quiet peace of nature then this is the place for you. Boo and Tim's home is warm and welcoming, just like them. We loved this sit and are excited to go back and spend time at theirs again in the near future . Highly recommended!
