Introduction

Hello! I am a 50 year resident of Kodiak Island with homes in Kodiak and Larsen Bay. I raised my three sons on the Island and two or them live here with their families and the third son lives in Anchorage with his family. I am retired now and split my time between Kodiak, Larsen Bay and Anchorage. Typically I am in Larsen Bay May - mid October where I support my families fishing operation. We commercial set net for salmon and it is a multigenerational operation, I started in 1978 with my husband. Kodiak is home and I recently built a comfortable 2 bedroom home on Island Lake. Kodiak is home to two of my sons who are full time commercial fishers and their families, including 3 yo grandson. Kodiak is also home to dear friends, yoga, swimming, trail walking and playing cards. Anchorage is home to my eldest son, his wife and my 2 granddaughters. I try to spend at least 3 months in Anchorage during the winter. I love walking and country skiing in Anchorage! And of course being involved in my son and families life, including volunteering in the girls classrooms and playing chauffeur to their many activities. My constant companion is Jesse Belle a 5 year old chocolate lab. Jesse loves children and being outside on the trails as much as I do. I need a sitter because Jesse Belle is 78 pounds and even though she thinks she is a lap dog she does not fit under the seat on the airplane. I could not manage her in the airport on my own and plan a trip back to Italy next year.
