Hello! We are an Australian family living in the wonderful surrounds of Austria. We are planning our summer vacation and we are looking for someone to look after our house and dog - Nelson. Nelson is our much loved, 9 year old Labrador.

Our home is located on the outskirts of Salzburg. The bus stop is 500 meters from the front door. Bus into Salzburg centre (Old Town) takes 20 mins, and 5 mins to the local shopping centre. The house itself has a large lounge and dining room, a separate kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a cellar that has been converted into an informal TV / Entertainment area. There is also a large outdoor terrace and garden. Our house is very close to the city of Salzburg and surrounding the nearby Mountain & Lakes district with historic castles, old city and beatiful mountains and lakes to explore. From Salzburg you can take a 2.5 hour train journey to Vienna or a 2 hour train journey to Munich. At this time there are also many cultural music events on in Salzburg - the Mozart Easter Festival.

Our dog needs to be fed morning and late afternoon and walked once per day. Our dog spends alot of the time outside in the garden but sleeps indoors, therefore he needs to be taken out to toilet in the evening . The garden should be watered every few days, depending on the rain.

What a wonderful, joyful time we had! It was just the perfect sit! Nelson is the sweetest well behaved dog with such a big heart. He loved his belly rubs and spending time with us as we did with him. He gently woke us up in the mornings to get his breakfast and go for his morning stroll in the big garden around the house. It was so easy and lovely to take care of him. The beautiful house is spacious with a big garden and only a couple minutes away from the bus stop that brings you straight to the old town or a shopping center in a short drive. The communication with Kylie was super easy and we definitely recommend this sit and hopefully come back another time!
