Our house is an old black and white farm house that has recently been renovated. The house dates from the early 16 hundreds. There is a large garden in front and lovely side yard with shrubs and a greenhouse. There are spectacular views in many directions. The house is on a very quiet road, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are many wonderful walks up in the hills that start on our doorstep! The house has 4 main bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. We invite sitters to stay in one of the large, light, double bedrooms, with views towards The Long Mynd. We are 10 mins drive from the charming small town of Bishops Castle, which has a number of decent pubs and nice shops and cafes, a Co-op and a great local butchers. We are also 15mins drive from a wonderful pub/restaurant called The Bridges. There is also a fantastic health food shop (Harvest Whole Foods) 5 mins drive from the house, where one can find delicious bread, and quality organic produce. There is also a small farmers market next to Harvest Whole Foods every Friday. We have high speed internet, an electric Aga, and a flat screen tv. The farm buildings are not in use as a farm so it’s very quiet.

Patsy is very friendly and sociable. She likes walks very much. She likes to be let out for a pee in the morning about 9. She likes a good walk for at least an hour sometime during the day and another short outing later and a short walk before going to bed . When not out walking she is very happy lying about the house. She only has one meal a day in the early evening. As she has a thick coat she usually lies in the shade when sunny. No meds needed. We have some plants in pots outside and tomatoes in the greenhouse that need watering.
