Take Cocoa on walk in the mornings and afternoon Maybe a hike Take out before she goes to bed Feed 3x a day or as needed Brush her in the evenings She likes most dogs and is very social and sweet. We prefer her not to be on couches and chairs even though she loves sitting with us. Medication no at this time And yes on watering potted plants

Sit dates: April 25-May 5 Cocoa is a delight! She loves to be petted and touched and we made friends quickly! Cocoa has great energy and settles down nicely after a walk and a game of ball in the home’s large fenced in backyard. During our sit the homeowners’ neighbors graciously met up with us so that Cocoa could run and tumble off leash with her canine pals. There are several local picturesque walks/trails accessible from the house. We carried a variety of treats with us on our walks as we got to know Cocoa better. We rate Cocoa a 5-star passenger in our vehicle as we drove her to remote adventures (Colt Park and Newport Cliff Walk). During our stay, Cocoa was content to sleep in the guest bedroom with us in her own doggie bed. She was very quiet and slept peacefully. She’s a playful sweet natured girl and a great companion dog who will love to hang out with you as you enjoy the home’s beautiful backyard or front porch views! Natilie and Mike have a gorgeous home, they were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our texts/phone calls. We arrived the day prior to the start of our sit and the homeowners made us feel welcomed, introduced us to Cocoa and went over instructions specific to their home and the care of Cocoa. We were treated to delicious grilled burgers for dinner. We had a great experience sitting for Cocoa and encourage interested sitters to apply!

We had a great time with Cocoa in Rhode Island! She is such a fun-loving, adorable girl. She loves her walks and playing fetch, and there are multiple options for walks and exploring close to the home. Cocoa is great around other dogs. She loves playing chase and tumbling with a couple of her “neighbors”! We bonded with her quickly and she loved hanging close to us and being part of the action! Natalie is the best hostess! She left very clear instructions on Cocoa’s routine and needs. She also left us with suggestions for lots of wonderful sites to explore/places to visit in the area. Their home is gorgeous, very comfortable and overlooks a lovely bay, which provided us with stunning sunsets. We played lots of fetch in the beautiful, fenced backyard. This was a fabulous sit, and I’d love to spend time with sweet Cocoa again!

We had a fantastic experience housesitting for Natalie and Mike in Newport Rhode Island. We arrived the night before our sit and were welcomed into their home with an excellent homemade dinner. This gave us a great opportunity to sit down and to get to know each other. Natalie and Mike gave us a very thorough tour of their fantastic home so we felt comfortable knowing how everything functioned and also learned about Cocoa’s routines and needs. We went for a walk with Natalie and Cocoa to get acquainted with the neighbourhood and Cocoa’s fun personality. Natalie and Mike’s home is one of the most beautiful homes we have ever stayed at. Their home is very modern and new and there are spectacular ocean views from every window. There are multiple areas to sit and relax and hang out with Cocoa. The back yard is fully fenced and a great place to let Cocoa run and play games. Their kitchen has everything needed to cook a gourmet meal. The surrounding neighbourhood is right on the ocean and is a beautiful area to walk with dogs. Their home is a 30 minute drive to historic downtown Newport and we went several times to explore with Cocoa. She is a great car travel dog. Daily communication (texting) was easy and fun. Cocoa is a very photogenic dog and we enjoyed sharing all of our daily adventures with Natalie and Mike. Cocoa: 9 month old Cocoa the bernadoodle was an absolute pleasure. Most of the time she was surprisingly mellow for her age, but she definitely loved to play and be goofy and was always very sweet. She bonded to us and Kodi bear (our toy poodle who joined us on our house sit ) very quickly and Kodi and Cocoa became fast friends. Each day we took them on new adventure in Rhode Island. They made such a cute pair that it was hard to walk and not be stopped every few minutes to have the dogs fussed over. Overall an excellent house/ pet sit and highly recommended. Thank you again, Natalie, Mike, and Cocoa for welcoming us into your home!
