Come stay and play with our wonderful rescue dog, Harley.
Introduction
My wife, Pam, and I (Steve), live about 25 minutes north of Boston, and about 25 minutes south of the north shore beaches (and the quaint coastal towns of Rockport and Gloucester). We have lived in our home in Lynnfield for 20 years and in the town for 30 years. We live on adead-end street and close to an outdoor shopping mall. I retired from a career in the higher education three years ago and still do consulting work with non profit organizations around Boston. Pam works remotely (home office) for a data analytics/research unit within a health care company. We have a male rescue dog (Harley) we adopted five years ago. He was found roaming the desert of west Texas when they found him. We have two adult daughters who have helped provide house and pet care in the past but are now living elsewhere (one in Delft, Netherlands and the other in Portland, Maine). We are now looking for a great fit to stay in our home while we travel, and, most importantly, provide care and love for Harley.

Our home in Lynnfield, MA, is an expanded cape-style house on a dead-end street, where families walk and children play. Lynnfield is a quiet suburb town that also has a wonderful outdoor shopping mall. Although a quiet area, we are close to major highways for convenience. Our home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bathrooms were recently renovated. It has an open bottom floor and the bedrooms on the second floor. We also have two offices. Outside are beautiful vegetable and flower gardens and plenty of room in the back yard for Harley to run around. The back yard is fenced in, and we have a gate we keep closed that goes out to the driveway and the road. You will get a good sense of the relaxed feel of our home and yard from the accompanying photos.

Harley is 6 1/2 years old and still has a lot of energy and loves to go for walks. He gets three walks per day, and also likes to hang out in the back yard when we are at home. He typically eats once a day in the mid-afternoon, and gets a couple of treats throughout the day, especially after we get back from walks. He does not take any medication.
