Beach, walks and fur babies
Introduction
We are a fun active family with two adult children a 11 year old and a granbaby on the way, we live in Papamoa two blocks away from the beach and a 5-10 min walk to the plaza and restaurants. We have a boat and a caravan so go on lots of adventures around the north island. Our fur babies Lucy (dog) Bonnie & Clyde (cats)are our family and mean the world to us, we choose to have them looked after in our home rather than book them into a kennel as we feel this will cause a lot of stress on them. I work in Pharmacy and my husband is a self employed Electrician, Alarm Technician, CCTV Installer.

We own a 3 bedroom house (only 2 bedrooms available for use) 2 blocks away from the beach. Bedroom one has a queen bed Bedroom two has a double bed. From our house you can walk to the beach and to the plaza plus a handful of restaurants. The plaza has Countdown, The Wearhouse a Pharmacy and food court. Across the road from that is Pack and Save supermarket. Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and Papamoa have an excellent bus system.

Cats are fed a can or sashet of meat in the morning, and have a biscuit feeder to snack on when they want to. Dog (Lucy) has a walk first thing in the morning if fine weather. Then gets fed straight after. She gets another feed at about 5 or 6 pm. Lucy loves walks and outings, and cuddles. Full instructions are onsite

It was very nice staying at Kerry's house. They welcomed us being very friendly and making us feel at home. Lucy is the best, very sweet and playful. Clyde and Bonnie very homely and adventurous, enjoying being outside. We definitely recommend that you live the experience and enjoy your stay at Kerry's house. We loved looking after Kerry and Rusty's beautiful house. Lucy, Bonnie, and Clyde were a joy to look after, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Papamoa. Kerry and Rusty made us feel very welcome and at ease. This sit was a very special part of our time in New Zealand.

Being our first THS sit we were a little anxious to say the least but that changed instantly. Kerry & Rusty greeted us with huge smiles and warm embraces and welcomed us into their beautiful comfortable home. Much appreciated welcome treats were their for us to enjoy during the sit. Rescue girl Lucy won us over in a matter of seconds. She is the sweetest chilled out girl who happily guided us on our walks and, at the batting of her beautiful eyes 😄, had us happily playing her favourite game of ‘throw the reel’. Gorgeous duo Bonnie & Clyde cruised their way through the day as cats do, Clyde offering lots of pats and cuddles and Bonnie keeping her distance but always around. She’s not a lover of pats but we managed to get a few sneaky ones in and an all too brief cuddle! The house was so comfortable encouraging us to relax a bit too much, well fenced and secure. The location is great for walking along the river paths or exploring the beach. Shops and restaurants are a very short drive away (or a good walk if you’re up for it). All in all this sit was everything we could have asked for and more. Kerry and Rusty thank you for allowing us the joy of spending time with your beautiful furbies. We left a little piece of our heart with them especially Lucy who we may or may not have shed a slight tear over having to say goodbye. We would sit for you again in a hearbeat!

Kerry and Rusty are a super cool couple and sitting for them was nothing but pleasure! Communication we had was smooth and with a very positive vibe. They prepared their cozy house for our arrival and even thought of some extra treats for us. The house is located in calm part of Papamoa very close to the beach and park where you can walk Lucy. Speaking of Lucy - she is an extremely well trained and easy dog. She instantly showed her love too! The cats - Bonnie and Clyde - are a beautiful duo with Bonnie being a bit more shy and Clyde being the one who'll come for a daily cuddling session. Lovely people, lovely pets and lovely house - can't ask for more!
