Looking for a pet sitter who can keep a big dog company!
Introduction
We are a family of 5 who love to travel, but sometimes cannot take our dog. Charlie is a Great Pyrenees mix and is 7 years old. He can sometimes be hesitant to meet new people, but is really the most loving dog. He loves to go on walks, and thinks he loves car rides (but he doesn't). Most of the time he is just happy to sit on his bed!

Our home is a split level located in a family neighborhood within walking distance to the centennial trail and within driving distance to many outdoor activities. We have a California king master bedroom plus 3 kids rooms with twin size beds. We have 2 bathrooms, one that is having the bath remodeled so it is only a half bath right now. The office is equipped for someone to work remotely with 2 large monitors, and the ability to sit or stand. The back yard is fully fenced with 6ft vinyl. We have a swimming pool up seasonally, but always have a smoker/bbq on the deck, and a pergola and dining set on the patio. We also have a playhouse out back with TV, couch, recliner, fridge, microwave, and heat. The house is comfortable in all seasons with central heat and AC. We have a ring doorbell out front which can be removed based on your preference, plus a motion sensor floodlight out front for safety.

Our preference would be that a sitter does not leave Charlie alone for more than 24 hours. He eats twice a day, but does great with self regulation of food. He has an automatic waterer that requires no maintenance. He has a dog door so he goes in and out as he pleases and doesn't require more than someone being here. He will bark when left home alone for long periods so putting his bark collar on is essential. Charlie doesn't always love other dogs so it is better if they are not brought along. He also can learn to get along if need be. He can get startled by new people so it is important that the sitter leave him be until he is ready to interact. It shouldn't take more than a couple of treats and kindness!

The Spokane sit was awesome! Sarah's home was comfortable, welcoming. Sara left detailed instructions about Charlies care and her neighbors we super helpful. Charlie's personality was so sweet and fun. He was great with our 2 year old and loved getting cuddles. By the end of our sit, we all Were just one big pack!
