Introduction

Meet Gary, Heidi and Star, We are located in Alcalá, Tenerife. For the next 2-3 weeks, Heidi is away overseas visiting family and we are needing a doggie day care sitter to help while Gary is at work. Star is a 13 year old special needs dog because she went completely blind last September and cannot be long periods on her own. She is a very sweet, beautiful and friendly Staffordshire Bull Terrier. We live in an apartment minutes walk from the sea, so it's perfect for getting everywhere on foot. Star has a stoller/pram that she can sit in when she gets too tired to walk and can hop out when she wants to walk. She needs to go out every few hours to visit the pee patch and stretch her legs. She also likes one walk a day for about 30-45 min. Star's interests are treats, walking, barking at rocks on the beach, sleeping and she also has a new passion of skateboarding. Sometimes she like to play with her squeeky ball as well. We are looking urgently for someone or a couple to look after Star from 7am until the evening when Gary finishes work (roughly 5-7pm) depending on the day. Sitter would have their own private ensuite bedroom and would have access to the kitchen and lounge shared with Gary in the evenings. When Gary is home from work, the sitter would be free to go explore or have their own free time. Saturdays might be required for a shorter time and Sunday would likely be free unless something urgent comes up for Gary at work. We would love to establish a long term sitter relationship, so Star can get to know a regular sitter. We are likely going away for 1-2 weeks in September and would again require a sitter full-time while away. We have been dog sitters ourselves and loved doing it until we got our girl Star.
