Bella the Dwarf GSD in stunning Scottish Highland coastal location
Introduction
I am Carol, I am 60 years old and I run a small B&B and art gallery. I enjoy art and crafting, cold water swimming in the sea opposite my house and walking my dog on the beach. I have joined THS to enable me to plan vacations better and to help with occasional unexpected travel (e.g. to visit elderly family who live a few hours away) and just generally be better organised without worrying about my dog.

I live in a large, detached house directly opposite the beach and the Dornoch Firth. The house is a B&B for much of the year with 3 guest bedrooms and I live in a self contained 2 bedroom apartment within the house - this is where the sitter will stay - with stunning views overlooking the beach/sea. It is a small, friendly village with a local shop, pub and small 9 hole golf club. As well as swimming and the beach, there are many local walks and historical features to explore.

Bella is happy to do her business in the garden and usually gets one beach walk a day for around 30 mins. She is not good with other dogs and can take a little while to get used to new people. She has a condition called Pituitary Dwarfism which affects her thyroid, heart etc. She gets 2 x tablets in her breakfast in the morning and one tablet in the evening. She takes her tablets no problem with food. The only household responsibilities are to put the bins out for collection once a week and potentially put some pellets into the biomass boiler (Summer once a week, winter twice a week).
