We are in our early 60’s and live in a suburb of Hartford, Connecticut. We live with our 9 year old Greyhound, Zelda.

Our home is a Dutch Colonial built in 1938. We have lived here for 32 years and have lovingly updated and cared for this house and our yard - including a modern kitchen, finished basement, and backyard patios. We have central air conditioning for added comfort in the summer months.

Zelda is a loving, gentle dog that does not like to be alone. She is fine to be left for up to two hours but our main request is that you spend time with her! She eats around 8am, 12noon, and 4pm. Our backyard is fenced and you can let her out there as needed. She usually goes out for the last time at night around 9:30pm. She’s pretty lazy but might be up for a walk in our neighborhood although it’s not necessary. She is frightened by thunder and fireworks but extra attention and reassurance is all she needs for that.
