Hello! We're homeowners in Bakersfield, California seeking a reliable housesitter for our trips. I'm Maria, a farm advisor, and my partner Jeremy is a cybersecurity engineer. We both work remotely, giving us the freedom to travel and explore new destinations. We're excited to find someone who will care for our home and pets as if they were their own while we're away. We have 2 dogs (Shey and Wicket) and 3 cats (Pancake, Belle and Mocha). They’re all playful and loving. Wicket has a heart condition, and Pancake has IBD and a leg mass that is currently being treated. Both of them need daily medication.

Welcome to our home in Bakersfield! Our house is 2 hours away from Los Angeles, Fresno and the beautiful californian beach! We live in a spacious 4-bedroom house with an ample backyard and garden, located in a gated community. The neighborhood is extremely safe. Our house is equipped with AC, Wi-Fi, streaming services, two TVs, a treadmill, and an exercise bike. The kitchen is fully equipped, and sitters are welcome to use the food from our pantry to cook from scratch, or enjoy the ready meals we have on hand. Bakersfield offers plenty of activities for you to enjoy during your stay. Visit the stunning River Walk Park, explore the CALM zoo, and discover many other attractions in the area, or take a day trip to LA or San Francisco!

Each morning the pets are fed breakfast, with Wicket receiving his medicine along with his food. Throughout the day, the dogs should go to the backyard for a potty break. They know how to knock on the door when they want to potty. In the evening, dinner is served around 6:00 PM. Again, Wicket gets his medicine with his meal, and Pancake receives his medicines during dinner. Every five days, the litter robot is cleaned to ensure it remains hygienic for the cats.
