Country retreat in North Co. Dublin with 2 dogs, surrounded by horses & sheep.
Introduction
Myself & my husband Calum, (in our 40's & 50's) live in a small-holding in the countryside, we have 2 dogs, 3 horses & 3 sheep! We love where we live & we both work full time, mainly from home as well as some travelling for work. We do like to travel for holidays and we love a change of scenery to relax and refresh and appreciate what we have when we return home. We need someone who is happy to stay in a rural location, which is peaceful. The nearest village is 1.2km where there is a shop, post office, pub, coffee house, takeaways & Church so meeting most needs. Balbriggan, Swords & Drogheda are all larger towns close by with all the major amenities and historical sites. Most of all we want someone to be company for our dogs, take them for a walk and check in on the animals. They are our family so we want to ensure our trust in someone.

Our home is set in a rural location with a large garden which is very natural to encourage biodiversity and wildlife. We have paddocks, stables & a barn for our horses and sheep. We are on a busy country road as it links the village and main roads to the motorway, we walk & cycle on the road at off peak times. A car is a must in this location if you want to explore the area but local shops etc are 1.2km and train station network for Dublin - Belfast is 10 minutes by car. Dublin airport is 22km. Dublin City centre is 41km. Newgrange is 20km. We are lucky as we can see the Irish Sea from our home, the beach is 5km, roughly a 10 minute drive. The living area is open plan with guest bedroom & shower room all on the same level (ground floor).

Take dogs outside morning and evening whilst checking horses & sheep in the paddocks. Feed dogs AM & PM. Walk dogs especially Ronnie minimum once a day. If we have veg growing we may ask for some watering and if we are away for longer period of time we do have lots of house plants. The fish are in a tank and require some food once a day.
