The Best of Town and Country Living in Cary, North Carolina
Introduction
Hello pet loving friends. I'm Jack and I enjoy an active lifestyle in beautiful Cary, North Carolina. I recently retired from teaching real estate licensing courses. I love to travel internationally. I should mention that I am also a musician and my home is filled with instruments of all kinds. Brass, woodwinds, strings, keyboards and a full size theatre organ. My sitters are welcome to give any a try. You might start a new hobby.

Welcome to the "Triangle" of central North Carolina. Known for its Research Triangle Park, the area boasts the major universities of North Carolina State in Raleigh; Duke University in Durham and the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. All the sports and culture of these fine schools are available to you. Raleigh is the capital of North Carolina. My home is a two story townhouse featuring a private residential elevator (fun feature), 2 large bedrooms with private baths. Our sitter(s) will have the owner's bedroom with queen size bed, large dresser, and flat screen TV. I use the second bedroom as my office an additional bed can be placed there. The home is served by internet and Wifi. A full array off television entertainment is available. The home has central heating and air conditioning, a well equipped eat-in kitchen with all the modern conveniences. The living room has leather furniture and area rugs over ceramic tile floors. The fireplace has a gas log. There is private parking for two cars directly in front of the home along with guest parking. A quiet rear patio overlooks a forested green belt. The exterior maintenance is cared for by the homeowner's association. Our community of Cary is known for its beautiful town and country feel. We enjoy many community parks, the jewel of which is Bond Park that contains miles of greenways for hiking and a large lake for kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Newly opened is the Downtown Cary Park with a Bark Park (dog park) and Bark Bar. A major amphitheater hosts musical entertainment and is home to the North Carolina Symphony during the summer months. The home's location is very quiet and centrally located just 1 mile off of Interstate 40. The Raleigh/Durham Airport (RDU) is just 6 miles away and is served by most major airlines. I am happy to pick you up and drop you off. Grocery shopping, dinning, movie theaters, etc. are 1-2 miles away.

Make yourselves at home. I trust that you will treat it and enjoy it as your own. Keep it clean and comfortable. Use all the appliances, dishes, cutlery, etc. Love and care for my amazing dog Kobe. Take him to the local dog park daily as weather permits (there is a barcode card that admits you). He enjoys walks along the greenways adjacent to our home and rides in the car. He eats a regular diet of canned dog food twice daily and enjoys treats in between meals. (Don't we all?) He takes no medication. As mentioned previously, I have an extensive collection of musical instruments in my home. If you play or would like to just pluck a few notes help yourselves and treat them as your own. Trash day is once a week and we do our best to recycle. I ask that you collect the mail from the community post boxes just steps away. More details to follow.

Jack is friendly and hospitable. His house is full of wonderful instruments and the neighborhood is nice and quiet but is located near lots of parks and activities. Kobe is a sweet lap dog who loves his walks and dog park time. He is well trained and a great companion.

Both Jack and Kobe are super friendly. We enjoyed hanging out with Kobe while Jack was in Italy. Kobe is such a sweet and loving dog, we instantly felt he was "our" boy. He impressed us with his speed at the dog park and gave us cuddles and kisses in the evening. Jack was so welcoming and opened his home to us for anything we needed. He picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the airport. The location was convenient to all things Raleigh/Cary/Durham. His home was comfortable and the instruments were super cool! We highly recommend this sit!

Kayla and Jared put my mind at ease as I traveled out of the country. We first spoke on the phone and they then came for a meet and greet with my dog Kobe. They visited the local dog park and met the "regulars" there. My friends reported how impressed they were with my Zeewoi. I think some new converts were made. Daily photos were sent to me of Kobe on walks and getting plenty of belly rubs. I would certainly welcome this couple back for another sit.
