Reliable * Dependable * Trustworthy
Nikki arrived early for her sit so we had a few hours to meet her and introduce her to our dog Olive. She was very pleasant and we totally felt comfortable that she was the right choice for our vacation. Upon returning home our home was in very clean shape, the bedding was washed and there was a detailed note and vase of flowers that she had left for us. We highly recommend Nikki for your pet sitting and we will certainly reach out to her next time we need a sit as well. Thank You Nikki!

Barbara is a wish come true for any pet parent. From communication, to flexibility, to thoughtful questions to make sure she was giving Bruce the best care — she is the best house sitter I’ve ever worked with. Highly recommend.

Animal Lover on the Move
We enjoyed meeting Maureen during her dog sit. Unfortunately her husband wasn’t able to join her but that just gave her and Gabbie time to bond!!! They went to local breweries, Angel Oak tree, and a plantation!! And of course they played in the back yard and snuggled on the couch. I know Gabbie had a great time and she can’t wait to see Maureen again. Thanks Maureen for everything! The house was perfect when we returned and your communication was great! We enjoyed seeing our daily photos and updates! We hope to see you again and get a chance to meet your husband.

Rosie was and is awesome! I will have her back whenever it works for both of us! Our house was in perfect shape. She handled things like dead batteries and a leaky litter box superbly. Sent me pictures. Communicated exactly the right amount. Was always responsive. I don't want anyone to know how good she is because you might entice her to your home when I want her here! Thank you so very much Rosie!

Experienced traveler, nurse, and dog rescuer available to love your pets
I can't say enough wonderful things about Stacey and her two kids! Stacey is reliable, dependable, and has great communication skills. Her and the kids took great care of my two boys while I was away. I don't even think they knew I was gone. Stacey kept in touch daily, with updates and pics, which made me feel good knowing that my boys were in good hands. When I arrived home, my apartment was clean and tidy. I would definitely have Stacey and the kids back to sit again. I also highly recommend her for your sit.

Married couple well-versed in pet and plant sitting
Ally was great! We got to meet for a few minutes before I headed out and I felt super reassured that both Goose and my home were in good hands. My cat is picky when it comes to strangers, but he was comfy in Ally’s lap right away the first night! She communicated well and sent cute pictures while I was away. My home was clean and Goose was happy when o got back. I highly recommend Ally as a sitter and she’s welcomed back anytime!

Mature couple- Have No worries, let us help you.
Kristine was such a lovely and amazing pet sitter!! I loved that she made it her personal mission to make my cats comfortable and allow them (in their own time) to love her. Mya let her pet her, Blu took her on multiple “patrols” around our pool, and they both loved her! She was in constant communication, shot excellent videos of both my kitties and loved our home and cats like her own. I highly recommend Kristine - she is a wonderful person and fantastic pet sitter!! 🩷

My dog is in love with this couple and that tells you how much they love and care for my dog. They are kind and considerate, very tidy and thorough. I look forward to using them again.
Sofia and Nicole were excellent sitters to our 2 playful cats (an adult tabby and a BIG Maine coon kitten). They gave us a couple updates daily with pictures, as we requested. They were easy to communicate with before and throughout the entire sit. When we came home, our apartment was tidy (probably neater than we left it!) and our cats were relaxed and happy. They were also kind enough to leave us with some sweet bandanas for our boys. We were super pleased with the quality of care, and would happily recommend Sofia and Nicole to anyone in need of a pet or house sitter!
It was my first time using zeewoi so I was slightly apprehensive, but as soon as I heard from Kendra I knew both my cat and my apartment would be in safe hands. Kendra was great with communicating and coming back quickly, very friendly and clearly experienced with sitter jobs. Whilst staying at my place she sent me regular updates. Once I returned home the flat was spotless. I would highly recommend Kendra and I would certainly use her again. She’s great!
I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.
Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.
Hannah and Joseph housesat our three kitties for a week and a half while we were traveling for the holidays. They were very communicative and conscientious. We received daily updated on our cats with cute and funny pictures. When they noticed our 17yo cat, Amber, wasn’t eating very much, they let us know and we were able to resolve the problem quickly. They were also very resourceful and understanding when we ran out of some cat supplies. Hannah and Joseph took great care of the house. Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived back, and we had a short time to get to know them on our arrival. We would be fortunate to find more house sitters like them, and would of course love to have them back in the future! We wish Hannah and Joseph luck in their travels!
Quinn was an amazing sitter for my cat Moon! She regularly checked in with updates on moon while we were away on a two week vacation, and seemed to give her plenty of attention, play with her, etc. Communication was easy and she left our apartment spotless after departing. Highly recommend her as a pet sitter!
Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.
Anna was a wonderful sitter for our furry friends. My dog, Luke, bonded with her and was sad when she left. My cats would crawl under the covers and curl up with her at night. She is a true animal magnet and lover. I highly recommend Anna to anyone who wants their pets to recieve first class love while away.
If you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies and your house while you're away, Daniel is your guy! I had discovered zeewoi just a couple of weeks before I was to leave on vacation and I was not only apprehensive if the website was too good to be true, but also under a real time crunch. I reached out to over 100 local sitters and several possibilities fell through. I was confident I would find the right sitter and when Daniel applied for the sit and I started to text and converse with him, I knew I had found the perfect sitter for my two cats! Daniel was upbeat and positive, articulate and personable, warm and caring, and he asked all the right questions about Lilly and Eli (I hadn't had the time to complete my Welcome Guide, yet!?!). I shared that I had an easy cat and problem cat -- Lilly, who is sweet, social and eats dry food, and Eli who is skittish, was periodically pooping outside the kitty litter box and was eating prescription canned food twice a day mixed with a probiotic and stool firmer. I asked if he thought he was up for the job and he happily said he was. Since he flew all the was from Chicago, I thought the least my husband and I could do was pick him up at the airport. When he arrived, he pulled out his notebook. He patiently walked with me as I reviewed kitty care, showed him around the house, and where he would be sleeping. He immediately picked up Lilly who was excited about meeting her new friend and Eli bugged out and down the stairs to the basement (his favorite hiding place!). We got Daniel connected to the internet, set him up at our dining room table and headed off to airport, leaving our house and kitties in the best of hands. Daniel wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and assured while we were away. He made sure to text with me every other day (he had asked my preference earlier), sent photos of Lilly being her cute self while Eli hid during the day although he gave me assurances that he was eating his food and using the litter box (there were a few accidents, but Daniel never complained about these additional duties). When we returned from our vacation, the house was also spotless and well cared for and Daniel had even washed the sheets for me! It is with utter happiness and complete confidence that I recommend Daniel as a fantastic Sitter. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring, and competent, and you can rest assured that both your house and sweet pets will be watched over and treated with TLC -- and will truly be in the best of hands while you are away!
Karen was able to step in a sit for me on short notice after another sitter canceled. She was very thorough and communicative and I felt I had left my apartment and cats in good hands with her. I came home to a clean apartment and happy cats. I definitely recommend Karen as a sitter.

Marcia is awesome. She is always willing to keep my pup. Even short notice! She takes great care of him. Marcia is flexible with times and allows me to call her prior to our arrival incase I’m unsure of a pickup time. We have utilized her services for both daycare and over night boarding and every-time our dog is well taken care of. Thank you !
We take our Bernese Mountain Dog here whenever we go out of town. We've never had any issues or problems. Marsha is amazing and is always accommodating and nearly always available. Would definitely recommend!!
My dogs are family, so its important that they are taken very good care of when I'm out of town. Marsha at All About Dogs did a great job with them! I will definitely use their services again in the future.
We had our two dogs stay at all about dogs for a total of 9 days while we went on vacation. They charged a very fair rate of just $20/day for the both of our pups. They gave them a bath after their 8th day of being there. When we picked them up our dogs seemed to be very happy and they were super soft and clean. We will definitely use all about dogs when we need our dogs watched in the future.
Take care of my doggie "child" like their own; gave me updates every day, so wouldn't worry. Definitely will take my doggie to 'All About Dogs' again. Marcia did a great job! Thank you so much!
Amazing and very friendly people. Marcia is wonderful. You can call anytime to check on your animal. Had a great first time experience and will be back again. Very budget friendly too!!
Was available last minute when my sister backed out on us. I was able to call and check on my fur baby. Marcia was very nice and helpful
Love them! Our Newfoundland started having seizures whenever he would go places. They made him a special case and we're able to get him groomed because of them! Would recommend them to anyone!
Friendly staff. I had an unscheduled business trip come up and they were available to help me out with little to no advanced planning. And the thing that seals the deal for me: When I went back for a 2nd boarding, my little Leela (corgi) was excited to see the owner again, a whole-body-wag! I highly recommend!
Our Saint Bernard is always well cared-for during his visits and they have never turned us away, even for last-minute bookings. The price and hours are great for us as well.
Great place for your dog to either spend the day in the daycare or boarding over night. The staff really loves the dogs like their own.
I would give more than 5 stars if I could! I will never go anywhere else for daycare & boarding! The friendliest staff, they care about you & your fur baby & super clean environment. Thank you for everything!
My dog Walter loves this place. He gets to play with other dogs and they take good care of him when boarding. They don’t even mind when an over protective pet parent calls to check up on there pet. The grooming here is amazing Walter always looks and smells so good! I would highly recommend this place for your pet.
This is a great place to take your pets. They are mostly allowed to roam and play throughout the day. The staff is great to deal with and very polite. Be sure to book early.
My family and I, and our dear dog, Daisy, has had a relationship with April and staff at K-9 Clubhouse for years. We lost our beloved Daisy just weeks ago. I felt compelled to write a review because for years she was loved, genuinely cared for, enjoyed play dates, was boarded for trips and vacations, was groomed impeccably, and received her food and many toys from K-9 Clubhouse. I stopped in yesterday for another reason, but in doing so shared our loss of Daisy, and the owner was immediately brought to heartfelt emotion. The people in this place are second to none. They loved her. And Daisy knew they loved her. She looked forward to and had such fun going there with a broad smile and a wagging tail. We will not only miss our treasured Golden Retriever of nearly 13 years, but we will also miss the high quality professional and loving care she received here. I could not provide a higher recommendation for a business that deals with your pets. Thank you K-9 Clubhouse, a million times thank you!
I have to say I was very nervous leaving my dogs for the weekend because they have never been left at a boarding facility. I was really impressed with the facility, it was super clean, the staff is very friendly and organized. The suite was very nice for my fur babies and I was able to login to view them anytime I wanted. They were taken to daycare and had daily walks. I would recommend the Clubhouse to any pet owner.
First time ever boarding our Australian Shepherd. Clean, nice facility. Bandit had a blast playing with other dogs. Great place, great experience.
We are so thankful to have K-9 Clubhouse! We use both their daycare and boarding for our 1 year old golden doodle. Not only do they take the absolute best care of our sweet dog but she always comes home happy! Thank you K-9 Clubhouse for being so attentive to our puppy! I could not recommend this business more.
Been going to K-9 Club House for 3 years. Our dogs can't wait to go in. They have a play area plus dogs are walked at least 3 times a day. Call right away if a dog is sick.
These guys are awesome. We take our dog there quite a bit to get groomed and also for boarding he absolutely loves it and they are incredibly friendly and good to all the dogs. Highly recommend them
I lost my mom in February and she ALWAYS took care of our puppers and she was their Nana too. We brought our golden and my mom's chihuahua we inherited to Five Star. They were very well cared for and got through their first boarding experience very well. I am so thankful we found someone we can trust. Thank you Donna!
Love this place ! Really felt like my dogs were truly cared for.
It was a horrible experience and a lot of time wasting with Donna. I was moving back to Ohio from NC and called days prior to make sure everything was set up as I was coming in early morning. Had all the proper paperwork that was needed. My dog(7 years old) has a Tumor on his side and she saw it 2 times(in person) and than refuse to board him after wasting an hour and half of my time. He was cleared MEDICALLY(from a VET) only 3 days prior to us coming. I had to scrabble to find another place to board my dog the same day due to her unprofessionally and communication. I would NOT recommend this place as I was referred by family to go. Thanks to The Crate Escape in Elida for taking great care of him as it was last minute option.
Our dogs have special needs. Darren and his team are fabulous in administering daily meds and in working with us and our lab that has seizures. We leave with confidence that our fur babies are safe and well cared for in our absence! The team at Five Star is amazing!
Highly disappointed with this place! If I could leave no stars I would. She accused me of things I didn’t do. She yelled at me for not scheduling an appt, which I did and didn’t apologize to me. I had her cut their nails only to find she cut them entirely too short, to the point they bled, and more. Do not take your kiddos here!
Very flexible with pick up and drop off times. My dog loves it here, as apparent by how excited she is when I bring her, making it an easy choice for me!
Donna is the best. I won't board my dog anywhere else.
Great Place 4 Dogs & Such !!
Great place for your pets
These folks were great and I can’t recommend them enough! They were able to handle our pupper’s high separation anxiety and brought her lots of comfort during her stay. She was so happy and clean when we picked her up. Thank you!!
They were very friendly on the phone when I called to see if we could get our new puppy in for visit. Our dog was scared, but they said she did great. It's loud when you first walk in, as any dog business would be. Very clean and had a great display of food, treats and toys available for purchase. I would highly recommend!
I have been boarding here for well over 10 years and never had any issues. Suddenly my dog is too aggressive to handle. My dog left extremely stressed, starving, and desperate for a bathroom break. To say my heart is broken by this situation would be an absolute understatement.
They have a very cool agility course in front of their building with for a donation of $5/half hour. Our pup had a ton of fun climbing the obstacles and learning how to jump the hurdle, though we noticed the hurdle could use some repairs. We haven't used the boarding facility yet, though it seems amazing.
Very nice and friendly staff!! It was our first time and it was last minute and they were able to accommodate us. It’s now our new place for our fur babies when we travel! Very reasonably priced and our kids had a bath and nails trimmed when we picked them up at 8 am. Definitely the best in our opinion!!
This was my first time ever leaving my dog at a boarding facility. They was awesome and so kind. They have amazing staff and take good care of your furry animal. I will be taking my furry child to them when we go on more vacations. I love that they also have him a bath before he came home. If your thinking about using a boarding facility you’re in the right spot😊
We love Home Away From Home! We appreciate their flexibility in getting our dog in (sometimes on short notice), how kind and friendly their entire staff is and most importantly how well they treat our dog. From all of our interactions, it’s obvious that their staff are animal-lovers. And, we know that they will take the best care of our dog while we are away!
My dog was there for 9 days, we paid extra $4.00 a day ago she could go play outside. They called on the 3rd day and said she showed her teeth so they were scared of her and wouldn’t let her out! We were in Florida so from Monday till Sunday she was stuck in a kennel with no outside access! Her blanket and toys… I washed and double rinsed them 3 times and could not get the urine smell out so I had to throw all her things away! She didn’t get her medicine for the last two days she was there! She hasn’t eaten since we brought her home 3 days ago, she only sleeps all the time! I had to walk back and get her out of her kennel because they were scared of her, obviously they do not know how to interact with animals and she smelled horrible and was scared to death, and it smelled horrible back there, she smelled so bad from having to pee in her kennel we went right for a bath! The owner is rude, no personality, nothing! Never ever will my dog go there again! I have nothing good to say about the kennel👎 I doubt if my review makes it for anyone to see!👎👎👎
Our pups love going to Home Away From Home for their vacation! It's so nice to not have to worry about them while we are traveling. We have peace of mind knowing they are so well cared for!
I owe these folks so much appreciation I don't know how to express, displaced from home due to a tornado and people stepped up to take care of our chocolate lab, they took great care of her and did so voluntarily, with so many other things going on it was a huge relief to know she was cared for so well, my gratitude somehow will be repayed and payed forward , truly selfless people with great hearts
Absolutely wonderful! Stickory is professional, friendly, reliable and my animals love to see them whenever we use their services. I feel comfortable leaving my animals with them for any length of time. I know they will be taken care of and I will receive daily updates. Awesome!
Phenomenal experience!! Judi not only took good care of Bronco but of his anxious mom too. I will highly recommend this service to everyone.
We moved from NY state back to OH and went from a 2.5 acre property to an apartment. Needless to say, our German Shorthair had some issues getting adjusted. Having Stickory available for daily walks/snacks while we went to work was a blessing. I looked forward to the emailed updates after each visit and had peace of mind knowing that our boy was being well cared for while we were away.
Dave with Stickory Pet Sitting did an excellent job taking care our dog, Buddy. Dave communicated with us daily to let us know how Buddy was doing, and he really took the time to make sure Buddy felt comfortable and loved while we were away. As a courtesy, Dave also got our mail and newspaper, which was very helpful. I highly recommend Stickory Pet Sitting.
Dave did a great job with our dogs when we were out of town for a week. He is so thorough in his preparation and outstanding in delivering exceptional pet care. We got daily multiple updates and wonderful pictures of our pups! We highly recommend Stickory to everyone who would prefer a much less stressful experience for their pets while they are out of town. We will definitely use Stickory in the future. Thanks Dave. Patty and Paul
We've used Stickory a couple of times in the past few months and have quickly become loyal customers! Dave is very organized and professional and treats our pets and home as he would his own. He is a wonderful communicator both when scheduling visits and while we are away. He definitely has a way with animals as he was able to work his magic to buddy up with our super shy kitty! It's so nice to know that our pets are being well tended to while we are away. I've been recommending Stickory to all of my local friends!
I needed a pet sitter on short notice due to a family emergency and unavailability of other options for pet care. Within three days Stickory completed the Meet and Greet and started their services when I requested them. They took excellent care of my two dogs, one of whom is a senior dog. In addition, Dave helped with things not related to pet care. In the future I will use their services again instead of boarding the dogs at the kennel we used previously. I highly recommend Stickory!
My cat, Selene, was very happy, healthy, and content when we arrived home from our trip thanks to Stickory. Our mail was on the counter. It was such a relief to know that someone was watching our house and our pet. I highly recommend Stickory.
Dave took GREAT care of our 2 “babies” during our vacation. In addition to attending to our dogs he made sure all was well at our house each day. Loved the updates and photos!! Super service! Highly recommend Stickory!!
Stickory provides a huge relief of mind when you need in-home pet care assistance. Dave & his team are reliable, trustworthy, & excellent with pets! *Still holds true 3 years later! Knowing our pets & home are being cared for makes our time away worry free. Thank you!
Just left my 3 dogs with them for 8 days. I have boarded my dogs previously somewhere else, they did not do well, so I brought my boys to RED OAKS PET COTTAGE. And they have absolutely blown I my experience out of the water park!! It was the best place I could have ever taken my boys. They were loved, they were well taken care of. They got snuggles, play time and red oaks noticed when my boys were struggling and helped with that too! I am forever grateful to have found a place that is this kind, loving, caring and compassionate towards other people's family members. RED OAKS PET COTTAGE is exactly what my family needed. They are everything we could ever have asked for. To know. Next time my boys stay I will have ZERO worries is a blessing many people don't get to have. I HIGHLY recommend red oaks. No matter how challenging you think your dogs will be. I promise they will make them feel at home.🧡
I love bringing my Sadie girl here to play with her friends. The owner Shelby is so professional, sweet, and accommodating. I feel totally confident Sadie will be in good hands while I’m working and traveling. The place is clean and cute. Highly recommend Red Oaks Pet Cottage.
Very caring family with pets of their own! Open design of boarding facility that isn't stuffy. Affordable pricing with an abundance of attention given to your pets. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend this place to board your pets. Great environment, owner was very nice, knowledgeable, and communicated with us daily on how our dogs were doing. I will definitely board here again.
They truly love all the pets that stay with them!
The best groomer and place to take your furry friend for boarding! Cannot say enough good things about the fine folks at The Dog Spaw! Looking forward to our next visit! 🐕 …
Definitely recommend! They did an amazing job and were so sweet!
I love bringing our pup here for boarding and for grooming services. I know he’s well taken care of when he’s there. If he or the other dogs are starting to get a little rough with each other, they are separated and taken out at different times so everyone can play but no one gets hurts. The level of attention they have for each pup is wonderful. This may sound bad but I don’t sit and think about my pup continuously while away from home when he’s here—because I know he’s in good care. Highly recommend.
Thank you Steph, Lindsey, Tony, and all the staff at the Dog Spaw! Our girls were in desperate need of a bath. They came home so soft, smelled so good, and no more shedding! Best place for our girls!
Love these people. They have a great place to take your pet for daycare, grooming, baths, nail trim, running and interacting with other dogs!♥️
Stephanie does a great job grooming our dog Boomer. Thanks for everything!
We boarded our 3 large dogs for 10 days during a long distance family vacation. They were responsive while we were gone, and the dogs were so happy with their stay they all 3 went back for a goodbye boop before we walked out! We were uneasy about boarding after a bad experience elsewhere and they wiped away any concerns we had. Thank you so much for taking care of our fluffy kiddos Dog Spaw!
Last year we took our two dogs there and they had the best experience. One of my dogs is a very anxious dog, so I worried how it would go. They eased my worry and his as soon as he got there! They treat them as if they are their own! Amazing place! Thank you!
We LOVE the dog spa and so does my dog!! Great place to take your dog... plus, they do videos once or twice a day ... brings a smile to your loved ones when they see their pet while they are away 😊 …
My granddog had a bad experience His hair was not trimmed correctly and had lots of clipper marks They were very rude and unwelcoming. Will never recommend or return
I have taken some time to write this review so that I could do it calmly and factually. I chose the Crate Escape to board my 2 year old intact Pitbull mix for the 2 weeks I was out of state because of their stars and word of mouth. However, I feel obligated to leave my review to warn other parents because I was appalled at the condition I found my baby in when I returned. Please note, I do not have any malice towards this business, I just don't want any other parents to experience what my baby endured. When I checked Smiley in, I explained to Nicole that I was nervous about boarding him because he had been abandoned by his first owners. The year prior, Smiley was found locked in the apartment 5 days after they had moved out. He has never been away from me since I adopted him except when I go to work. I explained that I was concerned about him being anxious and it affecting his appetite. But Nicole assured me he would be well taken care of and I provided them with 2 emergency contacts to call in case there were any problems or an emergency, and I gave them his food, bowl, bed, nyla bone and a bag of treats. I checked in on Smiley a couple of times during my trip. My first text to them was Sunday, July 14th asking them how he was doing. They responded 2-1/2 hours later saying, "Hey there! Smiley is such a very good boy! We all love him here. ❤️" But on Tuesday the 23rd (two days before I was to pick him up), I received a text message from them saying, "Good morning! Just wanted to give you an update on Smiley. He started having some diarrhea over the weekend. We added a little probiotics and yogurt. That really hasn't made a difference so this morning we started him on some veterinary prescription food for gastrointestinal upset. He's eating really well for us though." I thanked them for the update. The following day they texted me again with an update on his bowel movements (he didn't have diarrhea but it was still soft) and a picture of him eating. When I arrived to pick him up, I was heartbroken at the sight of him and how emaciated he looked. He was so skinny I could see all of his ribs and backbones. He had skinned/rubbed his nose raw and had scabs underneath it. They informed me that they had isolated him away from the other dogs because it seemed he didn't like them with his constant barking through the fence. Then I became angry. I thought to myself, "How on Earth could they isolate him like that? Dogs are social pack animals and need to be with other people or animals. Smiley is still very puppy-like and plays well with his toys, children, adults, and my mother's dog." But I did not want to lose my composure and pull anyone's hair out, so I loaded Smiley up in my car and drove straight to my veterinarian. They were shocked at the way he looked too, and upon examining him found that he had a fever, had lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks, and blood in his stool sample. My vet told me his intestines were probably inflamed and she gave him a shot of antibiotics and steroids to bring down the inflammation. She also prescribed him an antibiotic. The good news is he was negative for any parasites and everything else. I have been back home now for 4 days and Smiley is eating well and his poop is normal, but it has been recommended to me by more than one source that I report the Crate Escape to the authorities and I have done that. Also, I have included pictures to substantiate my review.
I was so happy with the service that was completed on out Dog!
Cat and facilities reeks like urine and feces. I really don't usually post reviews, and really try to support local business, BUT...The place smells overwhelmingly like urine. I am traveling and I boarded my cat here for 9 days. There was no other option as the other places required a stool analysis within the past 30 days. When I picked her up, she reeks like urine and feces to the point that I am dry heaving when she is near. They mentioned she was laying in the litter box, which she has never done, but okay. Was it ever cleaned??? Really makes me question the quality care in the other ways if you do not clean excrements regularly.
Our dog gets groomed monthly and always comes back looking so much better they trim her nails, deep shampoo, clean highly recommend!
I took my dog here two times for grooming because my other groomer, Petco wasn't doing grooming any longer. The first time, I was disgusted by the absolute stench of urine the moment I walked in the door, but didn't want to judge too quickly. The grooming of my dog was okay; however, when I went to pick her up, I walked in the door to the left because I could hear my dog whining and then saw she was on the table attached to the top by a leash and was all by herself. Had she attempted to jump off the table because she heard me talking when I arrived, she would have hung herself. Absolutely no human being was in the room with her. I almost didn't go back based on the this experience alone, however, I gave them another chance and after the second encounter decided this will be the last time I go there. Just felt like my dog wasn't getting proper care while away from me. Months have passed and I no longer go here. I don't like to give companies bad reviews especially since I was only there two times. But now, I have heard several stories of bad experiences. In April 2022 I heard of a 3 year old St. Bernard dog that died while in there care for multiple days. This is extremely concerning and I think people should know. I'm glad people have good experiences with The Crate Escape, but people should know about the bad ones as well.
Thankful for a place like this for my two dogs to be able to go to 2-3 times a week. We noticed that our dogs weren't getting enough exercise once our kids came along. With being busy with school and after school activities this was an awesome thing for our dogs to be able to attend. The bus comes to pick them up in the mornings and they wait for April by the door! They also do an amazing job with grooming! Can't say enough positive things about this place!
I understand that it's difficult to keep track of every dog's activity while they're staying here, but we've left our dog here for 5 days and he's got a urinary infection. The second he walked into the standing area of the building when we came to pick him up, he started peeing everywhere as he walked. We gave him a minute once he got outside and he peed so much it pooled towards his front and back paws. I thought it was odd, but decided that it probably wasn't their fault and he was too nervous to do his business. It's been a day since then and he's starting to cry everytime he goes to the bathroom and nothing comes out. The staff were nice and I'm sure they didn't mean for this to happen, but I just wanted to give people a heads up in case their dog happens to be the nervous type. I will, however, say that he wasn't fed properly.. He's really skinny and we can feel his ribs. Again, I can't discern if this was because of my dog's anxiety or their method of care. Either way, we won't be leaving him by himself anytime in the future hopefully <3
HARD TO DEFINE, I WANT TO GIVE A+ Big metal barn where dogs romp, sniff and run around freely. Vet history required. The dogs have a rollicking good time. Employees are mostly hard working dog lovers who do everything owners want. They will transport your pet in Crate Escape Bus (cute). Baths, meals. Or, you can do that. It’s impossible to hire enough “referees” and make expenses - or how many dogs are too many when mine needs a place to be? I always want the best at minimum cost - but the most reliable people are expensive. The Crate Escape does an excellent balancing act. It’s not perfect, just a little crazy and very good for most dogs.
Great care and staff does an amazing job! you never have to worry about your pet with April, and come home tired at the end of a work day! And your fur baby will have great social skills better then people!
I’ve used their services twice because our normal place was booked. I was not impressed the first time but even less-so the second time. When I walked into the office the stench of urine was enough to give you a headache. When I brought my dog home she pooped 4 times within 30 min, peed a couple times and couldn’t get enough water. It would seem that the care is not good. And the price per day is much more than our normal place, which is very clean, better organized, and gives much better care to our dog. Btw that place is RJ Pets. Book in advance as they are much more popular.
We love this dog care facility! They have taken care of our dogs during a literal blizzard, when we had a child, and many other occasions. Our dogs come home well groomed (they even cut their nails without stress!). Our dogs come home healthy, happy, and stress free. We have done business with ALOT of dog boarding facilities but this is by far the friendliest, most professional, and easiest to schedule! They have great hours, quick response times, and mostly importantly they love our dogs. We drive 40+ minutes to take our dogs here. Thank you for running such a wonderful business for pet owners!! You are truly a gem!!
Our two dogs LOVE going to daycare at Our House Pet Care! You just mention daycare and they go crazy and head towards the door. I asked a ton of questions before even considering taking our dogs there. Every one of them was answered in such a way that made me feel comfortable leaving our girls there. They've been going pretty much since Our House Pet Care opened. I love that our Doodle can get groomed and go right back to playing. I've been truly impressed with everyone at Our House Pet Care and will recommend them to anyone that will listen! If you're thinking about it they have a free half day assessment. Try it out! It's been great for our girls!
If you are considering this business, no need to think twice, you picked the right place. Great place, great people! I've had the need to board my dog a few times in 2023, a new concept for me. He goes absolutely nuts (in a good/excited way) when we turn in their driveway now, and that tells me all I need to know! I took him for grooming service for the first time yesterday and couldn't be happier with how he turned out.
Brianna did a wonderful job with our schnauzer, and was very professional. The ladies were all very friendly. Also got an appointment that works for me!
We always hate leaving our dogs for any period of time, but Bugsy and Titan love this place! Titan is a little hesitant of people but they let our two pups stay in the same cage together for comfort. Our dogs are always happy with tails wagging when we pick them up. We won't take them anywhere else!
I have a very temperamental pug that hates his nails done. I was impressed with the ladies how they handled him and didn't have some of the issues that I do with him. This will definitely be a monthly thing. Well worth the money to save my frustrations.
The staff is very professional and obviously know how to handle the pets. The prices are reasonable, and they take pets of most varieties.
we loved having a great place to leave our two dogs while our family was on a weekend trip! we enjoyed the picture and video on instagram with our dogs . will be coming again when needed.
This is the only place I kennel my dog, they are wonderful! They really care about the pets and the people too!
Employees are great, however I found out that my nearly 2 year old German Shepherd was considered too hyper and not a great fit. They refused to acknowledge that he was still in puppy mode. Kept him in his crate too much for my liking. My dog is GREAT with other dogs, just super excited.
Erin came highly recommended to me for watching my puppy Tucker one Sunday afternoon. Our trip ended up having some unexpected setbacks and Erin was so understanding with our pickup time changing. She kept me updated with pictures and truly made me feel at ease leaving him for the first time. Enjoy this sweet duo Erin captured!
Erin is a true animal lover and the sweetest person! We always know our puppy, Blue is in good hands when she cares for him! He gets so excited to see Erin! I’ve never once worried about him!
Erin was phenomenal with my big baby, Georgia. She is an 80lb lab mix who was worn out by playing with her Australian Shepard. Georgia can't wait to go back and stay!
Mowgli had the time of his life! I was getting a video and picture update every day, making my travel completely stress free! I would recommend All the Cuddles Pet Care to anyone needing a pet sitter.
Needed a sitter and Erin promptly returned my vm. As promised, met with her this am. Let me tell you something, this young lady is dynamic!! Pearl (our furkid) instantly fell in love with Erin and they played ball in the backyard already! So very very thankful we have found Erin! 12 stars!!
I have personally used Erin to watch my 2 GSD and my cat. I never have to worry when they are in her care and they always come home happier than when we drop them off!
our puppy was very well cared for and loved while we were out of town. it was nice knowing he was being loved on while in her care
You won't find a better, caring person to care for and love your pet.
