Responsible & caring travel enthusiasts who love pets and plants!
Amanda and Nate were wonderful house sitters. We realized a few days before the sit that I had scheduled their arrival a day after we were leaving for vacation. Amanda and Nate were so accomodating and arrived a day before they had planned which was such a relief for us. Mopsy and Sadie enjoyed hanging out with them. Amanda sent updates and pictures during the week, which is always a treat We received pictures of Mopsy sitting next to Nate and Sadie getting nightly brushings from Amanda. We arrived home to find that our house was especially tidy and clean, which was so nice after being gone for 7 days! We did not need to clean anything up upon our return. Amanda sent us a detailed update at the time of their departure! :) We couldn't have asked for better house sitters/cat sitters! We would highly recommend Amanda and Nate.

Hilary was a fantastic pet sitter for our cat - you would be so lucky to have her care for your pet and home. She took exceptional care of her and our home. Hilary played so much with her and took the best care. She was communicative, easy to coordinate with, and left everything super clean for us when we came back. Five stars is understating how extraordinary she was - we cannot recommend her enough!!
I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.
Kathy and Ron have sat for us several times in the past and have always been excellent. They are our "go-to" pet and house sitters and we always check their availability before we post a sit. They are trustworthy, organized, communicate very well, and take great care of our cats and our house. We hope they will continue pet sitting for many years to come!
Kristi was an absolutely incredible sitter -- I think our favorite one ever! She was easy to communicate with, kind and personable, and took great care of our pets and our house. It was the first time we had left both our dog and our cat with a TH sitter and Kristi went above and beyond. She was very self-sufficient but provided fun updates and pictures and our pets loved her. Highly recommend!
Becca was fantastic - we cannot say enough about how great she is as a pet and house sitter and as a human being! Becca committed to the sit 8 months in advance and was great with her responsiveness in communication during the long lead up to the sit. She arrived early and got the low downs on the animals and house stuff prior to us leaving. She woke up crazy early to help us get to the airport and picked us up when we returned, which made the traveling so much easier on our end. She left the house spot-less (and this is no exaggeration), with the linens cleaned, and a wonderful meal waiting for us upon our return. She is an absolute gem of a person with a great sense of humor and a kind and compassionate nature, and she really enjoys the animals in her care. Our dog and cat were very well cared for and totally at ease upon our return. If you are lucky enough to have Becca sit for you, you will be very pleased at how well she does the job!
Lindsey was super communicative, friendly, responsible, and an excellent sitter for our two cats. When we returned, our home was clean and our cats relaxed and happy as if we had never left ! She sent us photos and updates every day, as requested, and when a random mishap occurred in the apartment, she let us know right away and was proactive in handling issue. We felt like both our cats and our home were in very caring, capable and respectful hands. Excellent! Thank you Lindsey!
Ruoyi was the perfect sitter for our cat Toni! We would highly recommend her to any pet owner, and hope she can sit for us again in the future. Ruoyi was very thorough - she made sure there was full alignment on all the specifics of her pet duties, and she asked thoughtful questions regarding details we forgot to include in our guide. She always provided us timely updates at the agreed cadence, and gave us a ton of photos. From the photos, it's clear she got in a lot of play time with Toni, which we really appreciated! :) We were able to enjoy our entire vacation stress-free knowing Toni was in such good hands. Ruoyi left our apartment completely clean and offered to wash linens.
Ruthee was a fabulous pet sitter for our three cats while we were gone for a month. Prior to the sit, she was consistent and communicative; she even came over early for a meet and greet to learn the routine. During the sit, she took great care of our three cats by playing with them (she made a fun cat toy!), scooping litter, feeding and watering them, and sent us text updates and pictures. We came home to happy fur babies and a clean home. She left the place very tidy which was greatly appreciated! We are so thankful for Ruthee and would recommend her should the opportunity arise. Your fur babies would be lucky to spend time with her. Thank you again for everything, Ruthee!
Cat and Paul were wonderful sitters - our cats were contented and calm when we returned. And the house was spotless. Plus Paul mowed our entire yard including the back meadow - what a surprise! We very much enjoyed visiting with them as well and getting to know them. Highly recommend :)
Kristi was an exceptional house / pet sitter and we appreciate her being so flexible as were not sure how long our vacation was going to be. She was prompt, courteous, and even drove up the weekend before to meet with us. She took great care of our house and our dog snd cats loved her. I would highly recommended her.
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home for free at Zeewoi.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, $18/day per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Zeewoi.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Zeewoi cat sitters for free, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
Always really friendly with our dogs. They know how to handle them. Services are reasonably priced. Some people like to have fancy cameras and all that, but this place gets the job done.
The groomer did not follow directions! She shaved all of my friends dog hair off without her permission. Her dog was in so much pain & she kept going! Just cruel! Then when she called to find out what happened she was very nonchalant about it!
I’ve been coming here for almost 2 and a half years. I’ve been to two other daycares and I kept coming back here. It’s a small business where you get to know all the staff and I trust them COMPLETELY and always have. If your dog is elderly they don’t have to be with the other dogs but can hang out with the staff in the front which is SO NICE for those owners. ANYONE that says this place is not fabulous, well, I don’t know what to tell you, but this place is INCREDIBLE.
I brought my dog Levi in for a grooming service with Ashley & she did a fantastic job! Very professional & all the workers are very kind.
Since Stephen has phased out, they have gone downhill considerably. They are understaffed and unable to keep their facility clean and sanitary (our dogs have gotten sick there several times recently). In addition, they do not require proof of updated vaccine status and/or neuter/spay documentation. They do not have a limit on the number of dogs for daycare, so they just pack in as many as possible without regard to the dogs welfare. When I discussed these concerns with Adam (new owner), he became angry and argumentative. They do not have a live web feed (which is best practice in the industry) for pet owners to view their pets, which is by design in my opinion to hide the above deficiencies. I will never take my dogs back.
Very smelly and poor first impression. They did not ask to view my dog’s vaccination records and I had to remind front staff to view them. This was my first red flag! Owner/staff claims to be trainers but my dogs leash was taken right out of my hands and led immediately into a room with other dogs with zero proper introduction or patience given for acclimation. I repeatedly said this is a first daycare experience for my dog….Seemed disregarded. I’ve worked at a few daycares in my younger years and had a strong sense this is a poorly run operation. Cheap and easy to get in for a reason. Beware.
Took Lexi for Grooming today with Renee. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. I have been hunting fir a grommer knows how give a sheltie proper cut. I believe the hunt is over. Lexi looks so good. Clean cut and undercoat is brushed out.
The proof is in how much our dog loves to go. When she arrives she can't wait to play. The staff is very friendly and you can tell they love all the dogs. An affordable place as well that offers grooming service in addition to the day care.
Our two dogs absolutely love days they get to spend here. The staff is extremely nice, patient and caring. We trust them 100% with our pups. They also do grooming services that are so convenient. Highly recommend!
Absolutely love this place. The owners are true dog lovers and super caring with my jack Russell terrier for the 2 years I lived in the area. The staff overall were very friendly. If something went wrong they took care of it promptly and carefully. I would recommend them to anyone for daycare and boarding. If I ever move back I'll definitely use their services again.
I took my dog to get his nails trimmed after a horrible experience with another business. Blake took time with him and was so kind. I will definitely be a return customer from now on.
Only place we trust with our dog when boarding!! I love that they offer the “paw - gress “ reports now and the cameras to check on your dog while you are on vacation! The facilities are spotless and you can tell the employees genuinely care about the dogs. The groomers do a wonderful job too and our dog is not the best with nail trims and they are always so patience with her. Customers for life!
I LOVE this place. Staff are friendly and I love how sweet they are to my sweet and shy pittie 💙 I love being able to check in with the webcams and Nalani LOVES the pool they have out in the back. She always comes home all tuckered out from a fun filled day :) thank you guys for all that you do! …
This was my first time boarding my dog...I usually have a friend watch her but she was unavailable when I needed her so I booked her at this PetSuites location because my family used to board our cats here. I think I was more anxious than my dog about boarding her but I did set her up in the "Luxury Townhome" which has a webcam! This was a lifesaver! The morning I left for my trip as soon as I brought her in, it felt as if she was being "ripped" from me (I am so dramatic lol). Not even 2 hours later I already got a "Paw-gress report" and she was already socializing and making new friends! PetSuites was easy to contact especially through text! I checked in almost every other day just to make sure my dog was acclimating okay to her new environment. Although it was such a long week without her, I was extremely happy to see her as soon as I got back and it seems like the staff took a liking to her! I highly recommend if you're planning on boarding any of your fur babies! And if you are an anxious person like me, you will want to upgrade to the "Luxury Suite!" FYI, new clients get one night free! It saved me about $60! Thank you for taking such great care of my fur baby!!:)
Very disappointed. We’ve used another location many times, and their staff’s efforts were excellent, so when we moved to Ohio, we tried the Worthington location and had high hopes, as it is quite large and looks very nice. Unfortunately, the staff made almost no effort for the daily progress reports that we paid for (one blurry photo and they used the same adjectives and one-phrase write up to for both dogs, all 3 days). At the other location we had gone to many times, they took 5-10 photos per day, chose unique adjectives to describe how each dog’s behavior was that day, and took the time to write typically 2-4 sentences about how the dog did that day or say something sweet about how much they enjoy having your baby there. Remember, these daily reports are a paid service and are an add-on. So if a customer is paying for them, they should be unique to each dog, each day they are purchased. Also, at the other location we went to many times, we’d check in on the small dog room’s webcam to check on our girls occasionally, and often times we’d find one of our dogs being held. So heart warming. At this location, we checked occasionally and always found the staff leaning against something, scrolling their phone and not really interacting with the dogs at all. They’d occasionally break from their phone to cleanup a mess. A bit less heart warming than the other location we’ve boarded at. Finally, when we checked in, we gave them 5 toys for our two girls, who shared a “townhouse” here. Of those 5 toys, we specifically mentioned that one in particular was a favorite, and new because of one of our dog’s recent birthday. Sadly, that toy was never given to them their whole stay (townhouses have cameras, and the cam only showed them ever having 2 of the 5 toys, and never that one). Bummer since I especially mentioned that one being a favorite.
We absolutely love PetSuites Worthington and have been going to them for almost a year since 2023. We started with grooming, and Tina is so amazing. She cares about the dogs; she gets a clear idea of what you want done and communicates pricing and any concerns clearly. Also, pricing for doodles is very competitive here! We have boarded our dog here twice, and he loves it. It’s pricey to get the silver package but they have so many people working who give the pets attention. They have group play dates, and you can tell the staff really loves animals.
Max and Erma love Pet Suites. When I say lets go to daycare they run to the door. Erma is people selective and they love and work with her. She loves her individual play time and she really loves Coriel!! Max loves everyone and enjoys his group play. When we go on vacation and board them I know they are taken care of and we do not have to worry.
Friendly and experienced staff. My pup loves coming to play and she greets everyone like family. She is excited to go play every time. I feel comfortable and confident leaving her there. Play time is supervised and the staff varies the play experience. Highly recommend to all dog owners I know. I feel comfortable and at ease when boarding my pup here. I know she is well taken care of and she enjoys her stay! The only place I’ve boarded and will board. Highly recommended! Love the staff.
From what I could tell, my dog had a great stay. He was not covered in pee, like a previous experience that I had at another PetSuites location (with my now deceased pet) many years ago. The staff was very warn & friendly! I like that they didn't peer pressure me into purchasing the extra that they suggest. Prices are pretty high compared to the vet, where I usually board him. Hopefully, at PetSuites, he has more room & personal attention, but I don't know for sure.
The Pet Suites team is so caring and loving. It’s always hard to leave our four-legged children but I know they are in good hands. I also have a family member that uses them almost daily for daycare. We also took advantage of their grooming services on our most recent stay, and our golden doodle has never looked better. Highly recommend that you try this location and this group of very caring pet lovers.
Rachael did a great job with Tank! He went in with extreme anxiousness with being outside near anyone or any dog. She has not only trained him to be calmer in those atmospheres but also given me plenty of tips and tricks for how to adjust his behavior as needed. During the 4 weeks, she provided lots of daily pictures and videos of his progress and their adventures along with a daily email of his well-being! She has been amazing to work with and I’m so thankful for all the help with Tank!
We have a sweet 3 year old male black lab who was a little too rambunctious on a leash! After struggling to control his eagerness and his constant markings, I hired Rachael to do a day long leash training with him. She worked with him for the one day, taught me what to do when I picked him up, and I am so pleased. Walking him on a leash is now a joy instead of a struggle. Highly recommend!!
Passion four paws is a great place if you need any kind of dog training Rachel and her staff were excellent very knowledgeable very caring ,we felt Oreo our dog was very safe their, they updated us every day with photos and videos and showed us his progress Rachel even came to our house to check out the progress we were making. 5 stars to passion four paws
We started our puppy with Aimee and her team as soon as we could, and all I can say is WOW!! Everyone on the team is amazing and works hard to help the puppies learn. I was worried about our pup being around the other dogs, because he is a bit anxious, but they work to introduce things at the dogs pace and make sure they are comfortable, while encouraging them to push past those fears. Our puppy gets super excited when we pull up for drop off, like he would jump from the seat of the van which he will never do any other time, which proves to me we choose the best place for our guy. On top of helping and taking care of our puppy, Aimee has answered about a million questions from me. We chose to do a one in one training with her before we started the puppy daycare and she was amazing at listening to our concerns, showing us the first commands to start training on, and helping my 11 and 9 year olds understand what to do. So happy we found Passion Four Paws!!
Leon our Labrador puppy has been going to puppy academy since he was 3 months old and he has learned so much. They helped us with crate training, commands, leash training and not to mention he loves going there. He gets so excited every drop off to go, that you know your puppy is in good hands!
My puppy Mia love love loves it here!! We did the three week training program and now send her almost everyday still because we can tell how happy going makes her! She sits in passenger seat on our way there, right before we pull in she’s on our laps trying to get out of the car! I also cannot say enough nice things about the staff! As a new puppy parents we have been trying to figure things out and Amiee never hesitates to answer all my questions and concerns in a timely manner! I trust her and her staff completely without concern! My pup Mia will go and learn and have fun for as long as they will let her! The daily pictures and email updates are also a huge plus!!!
A great place for training! Our 7 month old pup, Reese, grew by leaps and bounds while attending their puppy composure class. She is a very high energy dog who also deals with some issues from a rough start in life. We realized we were a little over our heads after adopting her, but this class made such a difference for us. Michaela was helpful and knowledgeable, and very patient with my dozens of questions every week. I highly recommend checking out Passion Four Paws if you are in need of a training program!
Passion Four Paws was life changing for our pups and household! We sent our 2 puppies there (8 month old Lab/Pit mix and 1 yr old Dutch Shepard mix) for the 3 week immersion program. We were updated daily with emails on their progress and also how they were doing in general (food intake, potty info, how they play with other dogs). We received more pictures than I ever imagined, and videos of them in trainings! One of my favorite parts was that while they were in the training program, they also got plenty of time to play with the dogs that were there for daycare! They always looked SO happy! They came back freshly brushed, bathed, nails trimmed, and all trained. I would recommend over and over. Thank you to Michaela, Olivia, and Aimee. They are so great. Can’t say enough good things about this place and the employees. I will be returning to take the dogs for Train and Play to keep up with their training and still get socialization with the other pups there!
Fantastic facility for training, boarding and day care. My dog gets super excited to go and comes home tired from playing. Aimee and staff are excellent and take great care of Maisie. During boarding, they send an extensive email each day detailing how she's doing.
Excellent facility and wonderful, caring staff. Our GSD keeps up with his training while there, loves the walks and loves playtime in the pool! Always thoroughly exhausted when he comes home. They have "nap time" early in the afternoon and it amazes me that they all settle in and settle down. That tells me they have an active and engaging morning, and that's what they are at daycare for. Aimee is very knowledgable and attentive to all of the dog's needs. Love that P4P fosters some pups while they are looking for their forever homes, too. Can't go wrong here.....
Proceed with caution. I love the concept and the owners were very nice when I met them. They do a temperament test before your dog comes in, and everyone is friendly and pleasant. They addressed my concerns when I had them. My dogs had a couple of play dates that went well and any time I checked the camera from my phone, things looked good and I saw people in the room with them every time. Unfortunately my dog sustained an injury there on Saturday and while I understand that things happen, I was given various information about what they thought happened - the first concerning thing is that no one saw or heard her injury and someone just happened to see her wound at some point. It was described as a cut about a fingernail length. We had originally been told it could have been that she hurt herself on something at the facility somehow. When we took her to the vet, he was very concerned about how deep the cut was and was alarmed that it had not been addressed further by the facility. Upon first review of the tape the following day, we had been told that she had been playing with a toy poodle but no aggression was noted. I requested a second review based on the vet’s concern and upon second review we were told it was a much larger doodle and it was determined her deep injury that infected immediately requiring multiple stitches was due to “mouthy play.” We were originally told by the manager that things like this are very rare, but according to the owner’s email to me, it’s actually very common. The fact that injuries to this extent are common paired with the different stories we received during the investigation make me hesitant, but I do appreciate the communication, the refunds of our money and I believe each individual handled it the best way they could. I would suggest that they consider intervening if they see mouthy play between a much bigger dog and a smaller dog or to be more diligent when on duty. I think I had a slightly false sense of security with the video and people there.
I love Camp Run A Mutt! My dog, Clifford, started at CRAM last October and is always very excited to return. I appreciate being able to check on him throughout the day via the dog cams, the staff know him by name, and they even groom as well! We’ve had the best experience and would high recommend to anyone looking for a daycare.
This place provides extraordinary care for my pup. It has for the last year and a half. I really do appreciate all of the caring people that work there. I take advantage of both half and full day packages depending on my workload and convenience. Sometimes it’s just nice to have a tired pup at the end of the day. And I’ve learned to appreciate the well priced grooming services they provide as well.
We started taking our puppy here almost a month and a half ago! We had a negative experience at another doggy daycare facility and were a little anxious about taking him elsewhere, but Camp Run-a-Mutt was AMAZING! At the other facility, I felt as if Numa was in a cage all day. I'd have to either drag him, or carry him, in because he didn't want to be there. When we bring him to Camp Run-a-Mutt, he gets so excited as soon as he realizes where he is! He gets so wiggly and immediately wants to run inside. The staff knows him (and me) by name. He gets so excited to see the staff working at the front desk. We were able to sit and watch his temperament test, which I really appreciated. The manager (Kylie is her name, I think?) answered all of my questions and was extremely reassuring about the level of care Numa would receive. My favorite part is that it's cage-less and they have cameras so you can check in on your pup during the day! Our dog is 6.5 months old, so he's learning how to play and how to socialize and we love having the ability to check in on him during the day. I love that they post pictures on their facebook and are extremely active on social media! It makes me so happy to see a picture of our pup having fun. We haven’t taken advantage of the overnight stays yet, but I love seeing the pictures of the puppy sleepovers. It’s so reassuring to know there are always employees working there 24/7, because not every boarding facility staffs their facilities overnight. I love that they’re cage-less so staff gets to snuggle with the pups. Instead, they have pillows, blankets, and dog beds. We just recently got Numa groomed for the first time. He was bathed, trimmed, had his nails trimmed/dremeled, and got a de-shed. It helped tremendously and I felt as if the prices were very fair. You can tell all the employees genuinely love their jobs and like hanging out with our babies ❤️
Camp Run A Mutt is the best! They provide a safe, social, and stimulating environment for my dog. The caring staff, excellent facilities, and convenient services make it an ideal place for Milo to spend time. Knowing that my dog is happy and well-cared for brings me immense joy and peace of mind.
I was traveling to Columbus for work from NYC and wanted to bring my dog. I did a lot of research from afar on doggie daycares and came across Camp Run-A-Mutt. I gave them a call and was greeted by the owner, Christy, who was so informative, friendly and welcoming. I knew this was the spot for my dog! Upon arriving, they did a temperament test, which I watched on the screen in the lobby and after passing the test, my dog got to go to camp for the rest of the day. Even when he was being shy and nervous, the owners Christy and Todd were so friendly and allowed my pup to be with them one on one in their office. Christy even went the extra mile of texting me photos during the day. The cameras were great and made me feel so comfortable. Multiple times, I watched during my workday and saw my dog being held, loved on, and having a great time at camp. I cannot recommend this daycare enough. My family even got to log in and see how their favorite pup was enjoying camp! So affordable, a great facility and incredible staff!! Your pup will be in great, caring hands!
We just started here about a month ago as a new customer. We have a regular daycare center for our dog that she goes to at least once a week and a regular kennel up in Morrow County for boarding. We selected this place for a backup especially since they have daycare on a Saturday. Everybody has been super friendly and they welcomed us and our dog. We dropped off her dog for the evaluation day and everything went great and then we took her the next week for a single day of daycare. I love that they give you a report card and also there are cameras set up all over play yards and inside where you can see your pup. We decided to board her last weekend there and there seem to be no issues then either. The camera is shut off after business hours so we're not sure how she did during the night but I'm guessing she never slept. We picked her up Sunday night, it is now Tuesday and she just now seems like she's waking up enough to sit down with us and get petted at minimum. She's a hyperactive 2-year-old lab and is just been exhausted since we picked her up. I'd say she had a good time there. One of the things I really love about this place is that they take water and hose down all of the outside areas which are turf. And they check the temperature of the turf on the hot days. I can say so far, I highly recommend them. They're still going to be our backup because our dog has been going to the other places for so long and has so many doggy friends at them. But we will make a point a couple times a month at least go over here for daycare.
If I could give 10 Stars I would! Christie and Todd went above and beyond to provide an amazing experience for our pup. The space is incredibly clean, and well organized. The temperament test was well tan and they allowed me to watch as they explained the process. Throughout the day, I was able to watch our pup Riley play and each time I checked on the Mutt cam his tail was wagging. The staff was so friendly and interacting with the dogs at all times. Riley was exhausted when he came home which was amazing! Purchased a multi day pack for the future as we will definitely be returning!
We absolutely love this place! They take the best care of our dogs and they always come home happy and worn out! We (easily!) use them for overnight boarding service and now- grooming! The groomer is very considerate of our preferences and in my experience is top 2 of any groomer we've visited in Columbus. I will only recommend Camp Run-A-Mutt.
We have been bringing our dog to Camp Run A Mutt for almost a year. They greet each dog like a friend when they walk in. Lots of pats and belly rubs. The staff is great!!! I only know 2 by name, but Petey loves them all. We have only done day care, but I picked Camp-Run-a-Mutt because of the free roaming environment and that should the day come to board him, he won't be locked in a kennel, he will be on a blanket or bed not far from a human. Yesterday Mikaela did his bath and nails. The front desk team made a note for her to call me, and she was pleasant, confident and reassurinng that she could handle my bath phobic dog. He's a short haired dog, so it wasn't a full grooming... BUT, I can say, he felt so clean and fluffy !!! His nails looked great.! You can watch the cameras in the play areas during the day, and I love that I always see them cleaning! Some days I think they love my dog more than I do. I'm so thankful for the team here.
Our dogs have thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Pet Palace. We leave them for busy weekends while visiting town. It’s extremely clean. Staff is very caring and honest about any issues the girlies had. My daughter works at other animal care facilities and thought we chose a good place to leave them when she picked them up and saw the facility. Our one dog does get nervous, it’s her personality, but she is fine if we leave a Zesty Paws chew. Our other dog is nearly 15 and she bounces out of there like she’s been at a spa. Pet Palace is a great home away from home. It’s nice to trust them while we enjoy our time in Columbus.
No I can’t recommend as first time boarding here and a couple days into her stay they called to say our dog was sick! She ended up having an intestinal virus that she caught and I have zero doubt it was from there since she had no interaction with any other animals in a couple months prior. Furthermore, I specifically requested that she not play with other animals during her stay just to avoid any issues.
Just wanted to say that Lincoln had a wonderful time here and looks amazing. Thank you to the staff and Hailey for making this handsome boy so happy!
This was the first time my cat went to cat boarding. I had especially packed his toys and his blanket to remind him of home, so he wouldn’t feel nervous (his boarding was for a week). When we got back, I discovered that the blanket and toys were never placed with him despite the front desk worker saying they would. Even with the many other workers that went through his bag (that contained his food, treats, blanket, and toys) to feed him during the week, they never placed them down. I was extremely disappointed and sad since my cat was in a completely new environment and had nothing to remind him of home or anything to play with.
I knew my pup was in great hands as soon as we walked in the door! I have been taking my pup to Pet Palace pretty consistently for almost two years. This weekend was my first time using the Powell location. They were so friendly, kind, explained the necessary paperwork, and comforted my nervous pup when I dropped her off. I love that Pet Palace standards are high, and consistent with their locations. Thank you!!
UPDATE…the manager never returned my phone call. My significant other left a Google Review and then lo and behold, the manager calls wanting to discuss the Google review 😂😂 Avoid this place at ALL COSTS. They don’t care about your pet, they care about their business name. A warning to pet owners… We left to go out of the states 2 weeks ago and boarded both of our healthy dogs at Pet Palace on Gooding Blvd. They called me on day 11/12 (6 hour time difference) and told me that both of my dogs had diarrhea and wanted to give them Probiotics, which I agreed to, of course. A day later (yesterday) we picked them up and were informed they still had diarrhea (which they obviously picked up there because they had been there almost two weeks before it started). Wake up today and one of my dogs has a hacking cough in addition to the diarrhea. After a vet visit, we find out she has kennel cough as well as a bacteria in her stool leading to multiple antibiotics as well as probiotics. I understand there are risks to boarding but I also understand we as customers/pet parents have a right to know if there is a contagious illness our dogs are being exposed to. Here is where it gets interesting… I then called Pet Palace this afternoon to inform them and also to ask if other pets have been sick/others reported illness and the person I talked to REFUSED to answer my question and told me a manager would be calling me back. I gave them until this evening after closing and no one called me back, which is highly suspicious to me. I’d recommend if you have plans soon to board your pets there that you don’t because they obviously have more than one issue going on in their facility and they refuse to be honest with their customers. I’ve used them multiple times but they will never get my business again.
We had our two dogs stay there for 11 days because we went to Hawaii. Spent like $1k, both dogs came home with crazy diarrhea and kennel cough. Almost $500 in vet bills. Manager hasn’t called my girlfriend back. We will NOT be back. Someone else we know had their dog come home sick as well during this time frame. The place needs to take a break from taking everyone’s animals and clean the facility. Multiple people on our community FB page have sick dogs from there as well.
So overpriced, & they want you to pay for all of these extras. I had to take my dog here b/c I had to leave last minute. I used to board my dog at MyVet in Westerville, but they don't do boarding anymore. It's a shame because they were incredible & much more affordable than this place.
We had Panther and Josie here back in June (I meant to review then!).I was very reluctant to board. My husband assured me that he found the best place in the tri-county area, but I told him flat-out that I was going to check out the place for myself. If I wasn't happy, I would force him to cancel our trip. At first, I was skeptical because it was young people who seemed to be in charge. But, the girl at the desk was so nice and patient. When it comes to me and my black angels, one must have the patience of saints. This girl did. She let us stay there with them, making sure we were comfortable and they were comfortable. They dealt with me calling from a New York airport to check up on them where I could barely hear them and they could barely hear me. It is a little extra for them to have play time, but I wanted them to have that. I only wish the play area for cats was larger. Dogs get much of the space, it seems like. I could tell when we got J&P back, they had been treated well. They even got report cards. I want to thank everyone at Pet Palace for giving us peace of mind during our vacation.
This was my first visit at this location and my dog now has kennel cough and yes he always gets his shot! now before I go to work in the morning We are going to the vet as soon as they open which means I will be late for work to top it off I am so upset he has never been sick and never around other dogs the fact that he was exposed to it and got it there is very disappointing
Sterling is the ABSOLUTE BEST place to bring your dog for daycare!! We call it “school”, and my puppy loves coming to see his favorite team members! They treat him like their own family member, and go out of their way to make sure he is happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend Sterling and their team of professionals. It’s always spotless, too! 🐾 ♥️
I’ve been taking my dog to Sterling K9 for doggy daycare for about two months, and I couldn’t be happier with this choice! Juniper had never been to daycare before, and had only boarded overnight a few times (elsewhere), and she was not happy to be left behind with strangers at first. She’s only a year old and nervous + reactive around new people and dogs. But after only a few weeks, my dog went from fear to pure excitement every time she realizes we’re at “school”! Now, she leaps out of the car and runs straight to the door, and she LOVES the people who work there. And, they send me daily “report cards” with photos, videos, and updates of how Juni is doing! I would’ve never guessed 3 months ago that she’d be able to play with a whole group of other dogs, so it’s very sweet to see how much fun she’s having in the videos. Plus, the membership pricing saves me money and comes with many added perks! The care, attention, and love shown toward Juniper is more than I could ask for. It’s such a relief to not have to worry about my pup while I’m at work. So, BIG thank you to all the wonderful people who work at Sterling K9 Retreat!!!
We are new to Columbus and are so thankful that we found Sterling K-9! We take our dog Max there and he loves it. We’ve used them for daycare, boarding and grooming and have had fantastic experiences with their team and their services. They even do enrichment throughout the day for Max, and he loves it and so do we. The report cards they offer are great as well - I always look forward to seeing them. 10/10 recommend bringing your pups here - they do an amazing job!
We have been using Sterling for our little boy for over six months now. The staff is amazing, and Oscar never wants to leave! They really prioritize the wellbeing of the dogs and Oscar doesn’t come home like a zombie. He is just a happy little boy! We were recommended this daycare by our teachers at puppy class at the Columbus Humane Society, so glad we decided to enroll! Plus the “report card” pictures always brighten my day
We love taking our dog Arlo to Sterling K9! They take such good care of our boy! From the enrichment play during daycare to the amazing boarding services they offer, we are always impressed by them. We love the socialization he gets and enjoy hearing about his friends and his behavior from the report cards they offer. We also really enjoy using their grooming services. Arlo does not like getting his nails trimmed, and Sterling K9 is the only place that could do it safely. We feel incredibly confident leaving our dog in their care!
Sterling k9 has been an AMAZING daycare place for our puppy, Zora. We have had her go from 5 months and she is now 7 months. Everyday that we pick her up she comes home happy and worn out from playing. I think one of the best things is that they are doing some group training every time in addition to the daycare session, so we have also noticed that she is also better behaved and easier to train as a result of taking her there. It has also helped her to be really comfortable around other dogs because she gets to interact, play, and learn good dog “manners” in a great environment. I also feel totally comfortable with her there because of the controlled group sizes where the dogs are split up into smaller groups rather than some places that just have them in a giant pack. The facility definitely smells dog-like but is still very clean and sanitary and so I don’t worry about our dog coming home smelling bad or anything like that. The people who work there are very friendly and knowledgeable and l really like the updates (Zora gets a “report card”) that they send during the day that includes a video of what they were doing in that days activity. As someone who had never used dog daycare before I was really apprehensive about leaving her at a place for so many hours but she seems much better adjusted and happier than dogs I have had in the past where I didn’t use daycare. It’s an awesome place all the way around!
I've been taking Yoshi here ever since he was a younger puppy to get him socialized with other dogs as well as find a reliable and safe boarding/daycare community. He was hesitant on his first few visits for us to leave him but now he is bursting through the door to play with all his friends! He definitely gets a full day of enrichment and energy exertion by the time we pick him up. They can send out daily report cards with photos and videos of your pup so you can see what they're up to for the day! It's one of my favorite things to look forward to. The grooming is also super convenient and of the two times I've got my pup a bath there, he has been smelling clean and fresh! Sterling K9 provides clear communication throughout the day and responds quickly when you book boarding/daycare. I appreciate how much they care about all of the pups and give them the best times! The amount of variety for entertainment they provide throughout the year is another reason why I will keep bringing Yoshi back!
I’ve been bringing my pup here for 2 years and the team at Sterling has become family. He is always excited to go and I always know he’s in good hands with the midday report cards giving me a pupdate on him and what activities they are doing. Highly recommend!!
Sterling K-9 gas been very beneficial for both myself and my dogs. The ability to see pictures and videos of my kids during the day, at play, reassures me that they are being taken care of. The boarding services are top-notch, and the grooming services are affordable. Sterling K-9 has also been very helpful during emergency situations. While our dogs were in daycare, my wife and I found out that we would be spending the night at the hospital across the street. Sterling K-9 easily switched from daycare to boarding with a simple phone call. Trust me, your dogs will be taken care of here. .
Almost 2 years ago my pup started at Sterling and he absolutely loves! My pup strongest trait isn’t meeting new people but they did not shy us away because of that! He went, tried it out, and succeeded! He loves going on daycare days and absolutely loves all of the people there. Also, they send me pictures and video throughout the day attached to his report card! I would recommend Sterling to all friends and family 100%.
I have a tiny 6-month old mini goldendoodle that I take to Top Dog 3 days a week. She loves going each morning and seeing the women who take such good care of her. I am so comforted knowing my baby is at the perfect place for her. They truly go above and beyond to keep her happy. I highly recommend them for your furry family.
Top Dog has been great for our 5 month old puppy. He gets socialization practice, tired and cared for you. You can tell the owners and employees really love and care for the dogs and love what they do. Everyone is super friendly, communicative and responsive :-)
My dog loves it there! The staff is super friendly & goes above & beyond to provide an amazing experience. I couldn’t imagine taking her anywhere else!
I recently just started taking my dog here and she loves it! The staff is so friendly and kind :)
We love Top Dog! Last summer, our pup got injured in a car accident and couldn't attend daycare for 3 months while he was healing. Throughout that time, the team emailed and checked in on him often and even donated to a fundraiser to help pay for some of his surgery. That was a tough time and it meant the world that they cared so much about him and our family. He's back at daycare now and living his best life. The only downside is that our boy never wants to leave! :) Thank you, Top Dog!
The Top Dog team is amazing! Their love of dogs is clear from the attention and care they give each pet! My pup always comes home tired (from lots of play) and happy! Safety and pet health are a priority at Top Dog! From grooming to boarding, I cannot say enough about the positive experiences we’ve had at Top Dog! Highly recommend! My pup gets excited when we tell him we’re headed to Top Dog!
I am so appreciative of TopDog! The staff is always kind and understanding of my dog’s anxiety. She is nervous away from us, but she enjoys daycare more every time she goes and the peace of mind that she is safe is priceless. The staff gives her cuddles and attention when she needs it and they know by name even though she is pretty new to them. I love being able to check on my dog throughout the day too.
Top Dog is amazing. My fur baby is well taken care of and loves going there. Grooming services have him fresh and clean- looking his finest. If I could give more than five stars I would 😄 …
Just love Top Dog! They take such great care of our Peggy!!
My Nuonuo has been going to Top Dog since 2016. She loves the place. Liz, Tabi, Jenny, and everyone is truly caring about her. This is the top choice for us to send our fur baby in Columbus!
