40+ Five-Star pet sits; Columbia University faculty (teaching remotely)
It was a pleasure to have Cindy care for my cat Stella while I was away on an unexpected last-minute trip. Cindy sent frequent updates and photos, which provided a great comfort to me since I had only been home from a long trip 3 days before suddenly having to leave again. Stella seemed quite comfortable with Cindy's company! I returned home to a relaxed kitty and tidy apartment. Thank you, Cindy!

Shauna was a wonderful house and pet sitter. I got occasional photos of Buzzi (the cat) -- enough for me to see that Buzzi was very happy. Periodic updates from Shauna revealed no problems. The house looks great; now I just have to keep it that neat and clean.

Caring, responsible and reliable house and pet sitters since Nov 2020
Once again, Todd and Janis were wonderful sitters. They were easy to communicate with, sent adorable photos, and took great care of our home.

Hi! I am Olivia, and my partner's name is Belrie. We look forward to meeting you
I am so fortunate because I had to cancel this sit at the last moment and Olivia and Belrie were extremely understanding. All our communications leading up to the sit were phenomenal, and I can't wait to have them stay with Pearl soon.

Monica was an outstanding house sitter. She communicated well, took very good car of our cat, and was very gracious after a falling tree limb took out the internet. We would definitely invite her to sit again.

Flexible, reliable, & adventurous married couple. Animal loving + Travel ready!
Jordan and Alexander were absolutely wonderful pet and house sitters during our 3.5 weeks away. Jordan kept in contact with us with pictures and updates about our dog, and it was clear both she and Alexander are real animal lovers. They took wonderful care of our home, plants and garden as well, and we came back to a clean and tidy house and a happy dog. If they had any questions, they would just ask, and they took care of everything that was needed while we were traveling. We highly recommend them for any house and pet sit opportunity, and hope they will come back to our home again next time we go away. Thank you, Jordan and Alexander!

Experienced pet and housesitter, trustworthy, conscientious and caring
Judy is clearly a pro at being a housesitter. She was super communicative and sent us frequent pictures. She kept our home tidy and took great care of Lola. In fact, on a last-minute notice, she was even able to stay an extra night due to a disruption in our travel plans. Five stars all around.

Olive can be a bit shy with some new people but April quickly won her love. Can’t thank April enough for her care of Olive and our home. Great communication, left our place clean and tidy with a very happy pup. Would love to have her again anytime. Thank you, April!

We hope to make the acquaintance of both you and your pets!
Nicole was amazing! This was the second time she sat for Leo and she was great again. She expertly navigated Leo dealing with digestive issues, was communicative, and took great care of Leo and my home. After her first time sitting, I reached out immediately to see if she was free for this sit.

Reliable and trustworthy pet lovers
Abby and Matt were so easy to work with and we immediately felt comfortable with them in our home and with our beloved fur babies. They were communicative and clear leading up to the visit. They stopped by our place the evening before the sit started to meet our pets and get the lay of the land. During the visit, they sent just the right amount of updates and photos to give us peace of mind. We returned to a clean home and happy pets and plants. Abby even agreed to change my hummingbird food a couple of times to keep our feathered friends happy and safe. I’d recommend them for anyone looking for friendly, responsible pet sitters.
Sofia and Nicole were excellent sitters to our 2 playful cats (an adult tabby and a BIG Maine coon kitten). They gave us a couple updates daily with pictures, as we requested. They were easy to communicate with before and throughout the entire sit. When we came home, our apartment was tidy (probably neater than we left it!) and our cats were relaxed and happy. They were also kind enough to leave us with some sweet bandanas for our boys. We were super pleased with the quality of care, and would happily recommend Sofia and Nicole to anyone in need of a pet or house sitter!
I never met Joi because due to her work, she arrived after I left and was gone before I returned home. This wasn't a problem at all. She was very self-sufficient and seemed to find all that she needed in my house. The house looked exactly like I left it and my cat seemed very content when I returned. Apparently they had a nightly routine of Luna getting brushed. Joi is a very experienced sitter and it shows.
Anna was an excellent sitter - she took great care to understand all of the intricacies of taking care of the house and cats, asked lots of questions, and arrived on time and ready for the sit. During the trip, she checked in with updates, and upon returning home, left the space tidy and clean. The cats were happy and healthy, and seemed to have had a great time during the sit. Thanks Anna!
Our review is written by Steven (house owner, host + my father) + also by Kim (the daughter). Written by Kim: This was our first house sit since the passing of my mother in late Dec 2023. I was helping my father Steven (whose profile it is) manage all the emails + try + find a great house sitter + came along Gretchen’s profile! Not only is she a cool cat + someone you might want to get to know, I found myself quickly talking to her. I shortly found out her profile is just a glimpse of how interesting she is but talking to her was so much better! She is a world traveler with many experiences + stories to share. We quickly became conversationalists who could talk forever + probably will continue to do so! Thank you TH! She is easy to communicate with + continued the consistent communication all along our journey of having her as our *first* guest after my mom’s passing. It was clearly a time filled with anxiety + sensitivity so there were some sensitive topics to go over + Gretchen got it right away. A few of our rooms in the house were off-limits (as they housed my mom’s things) but we reassured her the house has ample space for her to enjoy + there are many lovely outdoor spaces to boot! When she arrived she felt she was in paradise + really relished in the outdoor beauty + the indoor coziness. We were happy to share it with someone who appreciated it so much! She also was very understanding with the fact that both my dad + I would both be involved as we both handled different parts of the stay. Me, writing + setting up the Welcome Guide + would go over the situation but then upon her arrival my dad would take over + answer any questions mostly during her sit. The good part of having 2 people is she had accessibility to us both, in the case she needed it + sometimes it came up! She juggled all the communication oh so well. My mom usually handled most of the logistics so this being our first time we were nervous something would come up we might not know but it didn’t! It was new territory for us + we wanted to make sure she had everything. Gretchen handled it all with such ease, seamlessly, really respecting our wishes/desires + taking all the information into her hands + making it seem easy on her end to do so. She was easy to coordinate schedules with! There was a gap in her 1st + 2nd sit but everything went seamlessly even when my flight had a day long delay. She was able to coordinate schedules with me arriving in between, then leaving, my dad arriving different days + us extending the trip too. It all worked out! We were all a good team! She absolutely loved our older cat, Benny + he fast + furiously fell in love with her oh so easily. When I saw him, he looked oh so loved + after saying hi to me went over to ‘her’ bed + slept there waiting for her to come back. She sent many pictures, videos + even cute creations + toys she made for our Benny + it was obvious the house + our Benny were her first priority. She even asked us if she could help prune our flowers/shrubs, something my mom used to do + honestly it was an honor to hear her ask that. She was welcome to set up her art studio + play away. She was very communicative when our house cleaner, landscape gardener + house manager showered up for different reasons. When I arrived back for a short stint before she came back the 2nd time our mail was so well organized it was an assembly line! She also offered to take down our xmas tree (as we were a bit behind in taking down our xmas decorations) + she was sensitive to the fact that we were adjusting to a new normal. Thank you so much Gretchen! You made our first sit in a long time so seamless + such a relief that we are ready now to host again. We only wish we could have more Gretchen’s! (She’s also a super talented artist!) Written by Steven: Overall, Gretchen has been an absolute treasure. She has fulfilled our goals for a house sitter perfectly - she took good care of the house, great care of our treasured pet, Mr. Benny + took care of the grounds such as watering a few plants + trees. She excelled in all the above + is welcome back anytime I will be out of town in the future.
Great pet sitter - took perfect care of our cat and our home. They were super communicate leading up to and during the sit and left our apartment in great shape. I'd absolutely recommend them to any future sitters!
Wow! Just wow! We cannot say enough about the care and compassion Trisha and John provided to our cats and our home. We are always somewhat nervous about a new pet sitter in our home, but that all faded when we met this wonderful couple. They provided daily updates as requested, complete with pictures, videos and personalized captions. Upon our return, we were greeted by happy and content kitties. There was no sign of anxiety in Tika! Yea!!! Our home was clean, the sheets and towels were washed and bed remade! They even left behind thank you notes and little gifts! What a breath of fresh air these two individuals are! We hope to have them back again soon.
Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!
We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.
If you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies and your house while you're away, Daniel is your guy! I had discovered zeewoi just a couple of weeks before I was to leave on vacation and I was not only apprehensive if the website was too good to be true, but also under a real time crunch. I reached out to over 100 local sitters and several possibilities fell through. I was confident I would find the right sitter and when Daniel applied for the sit and I started to text and converse with him, I knew I had found the perfect sitter for my two cats! Daniel was upbeat and positive, articulate and personable, warm and caring, and he asked all the right questions about Lilly and Eli (I hadn't had the time to complete my Welcome Guide, yet!?!). I shared that I had an easy cat and problem cat -- Lilly, who is sweet, social and eats dry food, and Eli who is skittish, was periodically pooping outside the kitty litter box and was eating prescription canned food twice a day mixed with a probiotic and stool firmer. I asked if he thought he was up for the job and he happily said he was. Since he flew all the was from Chicago, I thought the least my husband and I could do was pick him up at the airport. When he arrived, he pulled out his notebook. He patiently walked with me as I reviewed kitty care, showed him around the house, and where he would be sleeping. He immediately picked up Lilly who was excited about meeting her new friend and Eli bugged out and down the stairs to the basement (his favorite hiding place!). We got Daniel connected to the internet, set him up at our dining room table and headed off to airport, leaving our house and kitties in the best of hands. Daniel wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and assured while we were away. He made sure to text with me every other day (he had asked my preference earlier), sent photos of Lilly being her cute self while Eli hid during the day although he gave me assurances that he was eating his food and using the litter box (there were a few accidents, but Daniel never complained about these additional duties). When we returned from our vacation, the house was also spotless and well cared for and Daniel had even washed the sheets for me! It is with utter happiness and complete confidence that I recommend Daniel as a fantastic Sitter. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring, and competent, and you can rest assured that both your house and sweet pets will be watched over and treated with TLC -- and will truly be in the best of hands while you are away!
Jose was a wonderful pet/house sitter for us recently. We highly recommend him. He was wonderfully reliable and responsible and took such good care of our two pets. On short notice Jose drove down from Grass Valley to the East Bay for a bit of a quiet get-away while working a really hard job teaching online. We know how hard that is firsthand and partly why we needed our own get-away for a last-minute backpacking trip. We have a recently rescued pit bull and a rescued cat that we're still introducing to each other to make sure the dog doesn't eat the cat (as he seems to want to), and the cat doesn't blind the dog (as she would if he tried to eat her). That might be more background than is needed in a review but Jose made us feel comfortable about everything because of how conscientious and responsible he clearly is. We could tell when we talked to him that he was genuinely kind and eminently trustworthy. We are very grateful and hope Jose was happy with everything too because we know what a value his care was to us. Jose truly deserves any and all house-sitting gigs that strike his interest. Ours was not the easiest and he was amazing. Get him if you can.

The whole team at Biscuits Dog Walking are amazing. They walk my dog five days a week and are always on time and provide emails when the walk starts and when it is done. I would not hesitate to recommend them for daily walks or daycare.
Always there when we need them. Would absolutely recommend their in home services. We have typically used their services 2-3 times a week over the past several months. Corinna & Karlee are very attentive with our puppies.
Wanye, Corinna , and all his staff and reliable and high tech ! They send reminders, photos of the dogs being walked every day, and are very professional. I am a believer in this company!
Very professional and great staff!! Very comfortable with leaving my Great Dane with Wanye and his staff members. Wanye is very relatable whenever I needed to contact him he would answer me back very quickly. I recommend this dog care to anyone interested in needing care for their dog/dogs!!
They have a great, friendly staff and a very clean facility! We will definitely be using their services again and recommending them!
Always great service! Trustworthy with the dogs
We have used their service a couple of times for our 2 cats. We typically get Connie, and she's incredible! One of our cats is afraid of everything and doesn't come out for almost anyone that doesn't live in our home. Except for Connie. He's even let her pet him, which is a miracle. She's been very good to our sweet boys, and they love her. The one time we had an issue with the service from someone else who was sent in place of Connie, the business owner responded quickly to our concerns and assured us that the person wouldn't be sent back to our home, as we requested. Overall, this has been a great business to work with, and we feel that our fur babies are safe and cared for when we're away. Definitely recommend hiring them if you need pet care.
Nikki is amazing and loves my pup like it’s her own. She comes to pick him up and he loves it there. My dog needed medication during his stay due to an infected paw - not only did she provide his medication, she also bathed and cleaned his wound daily. I won’t take my dog anywhere else!
The most outstanding care and service we have ever experienced and we have tried multiple animal sitters. One of our horses was sick and they took excellent care of him - he was so much better when we got home from vacation. As well as keeping the barn, run-in and paddock clean (everyday), they ran around town to find a horse sheet for our big guy when he tore his. Every day we received a report that gave us peace of mind. We have used Zorger's for the past few years and will continue. We have complete faith in them and peace of mind that our animals are in the best of care.
DO NOT USE THIS PET CARE SERVICE. I board my pony at a Warrenton, VA area barn that used Zorgers Pet Care Service to provide twice a day feed/water service while the barn owner was away. The barn owner is excellent about communication, and related he was very concerned about booking them because their service has taken a steep nose dive. They had been booked for service in June and did not show up on scheduled dates, but luckily other barn workers were there to cover for them. If not, my pony and the other animals would have suffered. The Zorgers Pet Care Service owner explained it was all a big misunderstanding and our barn owner reluctantly booked again (it was too late to arrange another service for July). Communication from Zorgers was spotty, and very unfortunately again a feeding/watering was missed. Luckily a veterinarian was at the barn and spotted the distress the animals were in and corrected the situation. I am told that Zorgers offered no excuse, billed for the no-shows, and when confronted with all of this replied 'we've never had any problems. People love us.' If you do use this service, pay attention to the red flags. And don't say you weren't warned.
In response to Mary Waldman's Google review, Marina Reznor's and Snickerdoodle Waldman's Facebook reviews: Mr. And Mrs. Smith, I am deeply hurt by your completely untruthful review as well as the fake reviews from 2 of your friends who claim they each board a pony at your farm. I worked very hard to take care of all your babies and gave everyone their food, hay, and water. In October and November, you were so happy with the care your animals received, that you specifically requested to have me. However, I was out of town in June for my daughter's birthday and partially out of town in July for my daughter's Nationals dance competition. So Mrs. Zorger did most of the visits and then I did the last few visits. So you are accusing me of not feeding or giving your animals water in the summer heat. I work extremely hard for each and every visit for every one of my clients and their babies. I am a single mother raising my daughter physically and financially completely by myself. So I work 7 days a week and work extremely hard to ensure that my daughter is taken care of. Now you are posting a very untruthful review as well as having friends posts lies on Google and Facebook to try to destroy our small business. The very business I rely on to take care of my daughter. The very business I work very hard for. It is extremely hurtful that we provided exceptional care and now you are publicly lying. As local small business owners yourselves, it cuts even deeper. I would never jeapordize your reputation, your business and your livelihood with defamation or publicly humiliate you. We followed your instructions, was at every scheduled visit and made sure all your chickens, goats and pony had their food and fresh water. We also mucked the stall and you are not boarding a pony named Snickerdoodle owned by 2 different women out of state. I was also never privately contacted despite Mrs. Smith having my phone number. I would NEVER jeapordize the safety and care of any animal and I do not appreciate being publicly lied about. -Connie from Zorger's Pet Care

Awesome care ❤
My two teacup poodles love going to "camp" at Pet House Suites! The staff is over-the-top friendly, and they truly love their furry guests. To top it off, they offer grooming services, and Taylor does a terrific job! My pups have never looked better!!!!!
Pet House Suites was one of the only places in the area that I didn’t have to put in a form and wait to hear back from them to schedule an appointment. I called them up and schedule for later in the week. They did a beautiful and speedy job on our 100+lb Great Pyrenees. We dropped him off and picked him up 2.5 hours later. We have red clay in our yard and after the rain it’s pretty tough to get the red tint out of his coat. They brought him back to white and added a cute little bow on his collar 🤍 We also have an Australian Shepherd that is very high energy. They did a great job with her also.
Staff and Doctor Stark are great! The customer bathroom is third world country-ish. They saw my cat, Prince on very short notice. Did what was needed, and I did not have to take a second mortgage to pay my bill. Thanks, guys, all the best!
I thought I would give this place a try… it’s very near where I work and my dog really needed to be groomed. I was not disappointed! The receptionist was very friendly and walked me through the process of what I’d need to fill out and provide ahead of time, and the groomer listened to what I wanted and delivered! She did an amazing job! Very pleased, and I’ll be going back!
If I could give negative stars…I WOULD!! This place is run by a HACK doctor and his kennel manager. I got my dog back and he was a walking skeleton! There was zero excuse for the condition I got my dog back in, especially since there’s a veterinarian office which is owned by the same HACK doctor right across the parking lot!! My dog died a month after he left the care of this facility! I called to see about getting a resolution to this matter and Tom Roehr….the owner and veterinarian blamed me for my dogs death. He also completely shirked responsibility…rather than taking responsibility and trying to resolve my complaints and concerns. If you even remotely love your dog…DO NOT Use their services.
The staff is great! Belle goes to doggy day care and absolutely loves it and looks forward to going. She is always treated like a princess. She recently spent 2 weeks boarding there and I could not ask for a better group of people to care for her while we were gone. I highly recommend.
We were so excited to come here for the second time. Unfortunately we will not be coming back after this experience. First I was told a bath would be included if I wanted. I said yes to one of my German Shepards because I knew she would love a bath by others. When I checked out they charged me 55.00 for a bath, when I asked if they trimmed her nails ( I could see they weren’t cut) they stated we tried but couldn’t. Still charging me $55 even they advised when I dropped them off it was included. When I questioned the charges they stated we didn’t say that and the contact says after the 10th day the bath is free.. according to my emergency contact they called her on the second day due to my males anxiety. My emergency contact stated if it continues or any other issues she would come and get them. They never called. Instead when I came and picked him up they said he is no longer welcomed back due to his anxiety and barking . Staff was rude and uneducated and scared of German shepherds. I have not been more disappointed. I do not recommend this facility at all to anyone. They also charged me a early drop off fee and charged me for the same day. They also charged me $30. For an all natural anxiety medication for my dog when I told them do not give him anything when I dropped him off. The medication did not even work they stated.. my male dog also had a large cut on his nose at pick up and they didnt say anything about that.
Literally operates policies that are counter to veterinary recommendations, overpriced and nickel and dime you for every small “service”that should be provided base for the cost they ask.
Great staff and you can tell they love our pets 🥰 …
As always, our dogs were well taken care of. We appreciate the way you treat our fur babies. And the groomer was great.
Courtney is great with our dog Buster. On extended stays, he feels very welcome and loved at Courtney’s house. What more could you want for your pet?
