Sarah and Scott took great care of our dog and apartment in Oslo for over three weeks. They are super trustworthy and sweet people. Mary and Rick were very helpful and reliable housesitters. They arrived the evening before our departure in order to get a grip on our house and pets. They surprised us by offering to prepare dinner - which they brought with them, along with some delicious wine! While we were gone they regularly sent pictures and updates of our cat. When we came back, the house was in order and the cat was happy. I recommend Mary and Rick!

Louise & Nigel were great and we really appreciate the way they looked after both our pets and our house. Louise was an excellent communicator and we felt completely relaxed knowing everything was in their care . We came home to a spotless house with the sheets and towels washed which was very kind and thoughtful. There was a problem with the lights in the kitchen and Nigel and Louise dealt with it without hesitation or missing a beat. Mino, Dash and Flick were all looking wonderfully well and Min had particularly appreciated all the walks and trips to the cafes in the village! I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them and am REALLY hoping they might like to come back at some time in the future!

Cathie and Mike - We are ready when you are! Caring, trustworthy, experienced!
Cathie and Mike are a delightful, friendly couple who exude confidence. We had no difficulty leaving Jesse, our dog, in their capable hands. Their own dog, Fenny, came with them and she couldn't be a better example of how to look after a dog well. She and Jesse hit it off straightaway. Cathie sent us updates and photos of Jess every day. Jess looked relaxed and very happy.It was really reassuring to see that our precious little dog wasn't pining for us but having a great time with her new best friends. Cathie and Mike followed our care plan for Jess diligently: feeding twice a day, regular walks and ball time on the terrace. Fenny joined in too of course. On day seven of their stay the house lost its internet connection. Following our instructions, Mike did his utmost to solve the problem for us but the problem turned out to be with our internet provider. When we arrived home our house was super shiny clean; the laundry done and folded neatly, fresh, clean towels in the bathrooms and kitchen and the outside terrace swept too. Jesse was happy, lively and looked a picture of health. Cathie and Mike left by arrangement just before we arrived home. Saying thank you in a message doesn't seem to convey sufficiently our deepest thanks to them and Fenny. We would welcome them here at any time and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Tom and Keith were amazing, I cannot recommend them more. They were very organised, and made sure they had asked any questions they needed to before the sit. We left instructions for our dog, cats and tortoises and they had no problems following them. The house was left super tidy, and all the animals were incredibly relaxed and happy when we returned. The perfect sitters. The real test of how amazing they were was demonstrated in how incredibly understanding and relaxed they were about the water issue we had during their sit. The day before we left for our holiday, we discovered a problem with the water supply to our house. There was just a trickle of water. We had to get plumbers in whilst they were there, and they had to cope with very little water during the sit. We were so worried during this time about it all, and they were so wonderful in coping with it. Thank you Tom and Keith, we welcome you back any time should you wish to return, and I promise this time no water issues!

We are both united in our adoration for animals and travelling.
Tom sat for us (without Mar) for a long weekend, arriving on the morning of our departure, at the planned time. He kept in touch prior to the sit and on the day to confirm his arrival time. It was a beautiful day and as we explored the garden, our cat Gabi joined us. She jumped up on the table and immediately rolled over in front of Tom to introduce herself. As we moved into the house, our other cat Zoe came by to see what was going on. She's usually pretty aloof, but to our delight, she walked directly to Tom to ask for cheek rubs. We were quite astonished as it's not like her at all. So, from the get go, we knew the kitties would be very happy. He must give out very happy Pheromones. =^..^= We established that we were likely to miss each other on our return, but Tom sent a great update on the girls and the house. It has to be said that, our house was immaculate. I could not even tell which of the guest bedrooms he'd chosen to sleep in. Sheets and towels were washed and dried, beds were remade, and towels were folded and replaced. Bathrooms were both as clean as they had been when we left. Given summer had finally arrived (in August!) he happily agreed to water the garden and updated when he had done so. He's lovely, calm, easy going and exudes positive energy. I wouldn't hesitate to have him sit for us in the future. Thanks for everything Tom.

Stuart and Emma are a lovely couple, warm, friendly and relaxed. They are fantastic pet and house sitters! The communication with Emma and Stuart was great, we had a video call beforehand and I felt straight away at ease with them. They came out the day before to get acquainted with the dogs and us. It was lovely meeting Emma and Stuart, it reassured us that the dogs and our house would be well looked after. They sent us every couple of days updates and photos of Penny and Rosa. When we came home we got a warm welcome, our "girls" were happy and relaxed and the house was tidy and clean. I would ask Emma and Stuart back any time and recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable petsitter! Our dogs will miss them, they had a good time with them. I hope that they will come back and sit again! Thank you so much!

We were so pleased to meet John and Trisha! We had them come in a day before we left and enjoyed a nice meal with them and they got to meet Delilah (even if she didn’t seem interested) but she soon warmed up to them - except for the Cat Videos - she wasn’t very interested 🤣 When we returned our home was so clean (probably cleaner than we left it)! We got frequent pics and updates on our Princess! They also left us with a Progress Report with Delilah’s activities and what they did at the house before they left. Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Kathryn was such nice and kind sitter that both of my boyfriend and me were grateful to have, including my cats!! My cats seemed having great time with her, being around her, chilling on couch with her, or even sitting on her. I got several photos of my cats from her with whort updates. I’m thankful that she let me do facetimes with her when I missed my cats. The house was clean and tidy when we came back. I definately will ask her again to sit my cats and house when I need. If Macie and Roman ever apply to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the. offer. You will not be disappointed. They are among the top (if not the top) sitter I've ever had and I've been on this site for years. Primarily, they are very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Macie and Roman kept me abreast of their plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk them through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Macie and Roman really care. When they got to my apartment after a very long morning of traveling, I explained the care instructions and they were very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Macie and Roman followed those exactly. Third, Macie and Roman make you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out of hiding very quickly and was snuggling with them and letting them hold him. It was so nice to see the pictures of them all bonding! Macie and Roman have a calming energy towards animals for sure! Macie and Roman were also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 30 minutes. I really appreciated that. Fourth, Roman and Macie will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Macie and Roman also respects your property. We had a room we asked them not to enter and they respected that. In short, Macie and Roman are amazing. I would have them back in a heartbeat. Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.

My husband and I reached out to Toby & Chloe after reading their profile and impressive reviews only a week before our trip, since our scheduled sitter had to cancel at the last moment. They were very friendly and quick to respond to chat from the very beginning, and ended up exceeding our expectations during their two week stay. It was evident they had thoroughly read our Welcome Guide beforehand, as they arrived knowledgeable and prepared to care for our home and pets. They were very willing and happy to take the necessary time with us to walk through the house and meet our cats, as we got them acclimated with our daily routines and answered any questions. Shortly after we left, our city had a heat wave come through, and after immediately notifying us, Toby went beyond the call of duty and inspected our struggling AC unit to pinpoint the issue. As far as cat care is concerned, we have two seniors (who have more sensitive tummies) that can get irritated after a fur ball or swallowing anything out of the ordinary. When this occurred, Toby & Chloe stepped in and took wonderful care of our cat duo; softening their food and even cradling while hand-feeding them for extra comfort. We truly could not have asked for more affectionate and responsible sitters. We returned to a spotlessly clean home, happy cats, and well maintained plants and pool. (They even cleaned our dusty Kitchen pendant lighting, which requires a steady hand and is definitely a time-commitment …We felt like professional housecleaners had been there!) On our way back, Toby & Chloe stayed in communication with us to monitor our arrival time, allowing them to care for our cats until just before we got home. Overall, they are very reliable and trustworthy sitters whose genuine goal is to provide a top-quality sit, while maintaining your household and seamlessly transitioning to your pets daily schedule.
