Cat Sitting in Amherst

We were lucky enough to have Maryse come back to look after our home and pets for a second time. When she cared for our 2 cats a couple of years ago, we could not believe how we had lucked out and have been begging her to come back ever since! We have kept in touch and to our delight, she finally announced she was coming back to NB! This time around, we added our 1.5 year old pup Enzo to the mix and he took to Maryse instantly. It is evident that Maryse has a lot of experience with dogs. She jogged with him every day and even taught him to run along her bicycle with a leash! She sent hilarious daily updates and pictures, which of course we loved. When we returned the house was spotless (cleaner than when we left!) and the lawn and flowers looked like a professional landscaper had been here. 5 stars is not nearly enough. We left with complete peace of mind knowing our furry babies were in excellent hands; what more could we ask for? Deborah & Duffie were wonderful sitters! They communicated very clearly before and during the sit. Gonzo had the best time with them, getting to go to the beach, the dog park, and on lots of walks. He was so sad to see them go that he hopped in their car while they were packing up lol. Duffie also very kindly drove us to and from the airport and we came home to a spotless house. I’d recommend them to anyone!

Danielle and Francoys were amazing from start to finish! We were going away for 5 weeks for time back home before getting married and our honeymoon so it was great to know our girl was so well taken care of! We got lots of updates and they even mowed the lawn which was so lovely of them, would not hesitate to recommend them!

Julie and Michel did a fantastique job while I was in Japan. They kept us up to date with beautiful pictures of the pet and the daily activities. We highy recommend them and for sure they are at the top of my list now . Thank you

Sophie and Michel were amazing sitters. My dog Dua had a wonderful time and was very well taken care of. They brought her on walks every day and gave her so much love and affection. We communicated throughout the stay and they reassured me that all was going well. My house was spotless on my return . I highly recommend Sophie and Michel they are so responsible, respectful and kind.

Annie a été une gardienne en or qui s'est très bien occupée de notre chatte Neko. Elle a respecté sans problème les limites de Neko au début du séjour, et Neko s'est habituée tranquillement à sa présence. Après quelques jours, Neko lui a fait confiance et elle aimait bien se coucher sur ses jambes pendant qu'elle lisait ou regardait la télévision. Annie est une personne très bien organisée et elle a coordonné la suite du gardiennage avec sa remplaçante avec brio. Je vous recommande chaudement de faire appel à Annie pour vos besoins en matière de gardiennage. Vous pourrez profiter de vos vacances l'esprit tranquille.

Have Renee and Jean applied for a house sit with you?? Congratulations!! You have hit the house sitter jackpot! I cannot say enough good things about Renee and Jean. What better review than to say that we were delighted to have them back for a second sit, and hope that they will be available again in the future. We have two high energy dogs and a super sensitive one as well as a very elderly cat. Renee and Jean juggled all of these special needs with so much finesse that I think our dogs miss them more than they miss us. The house was impeccably clean, all the plants thrived, the ancient cat had more spring in her step. Not only are they true animal lovers, but they know what they are doing. When we travel, we are often in remote places and difficult to contact. It takes a very special kind of house sitter that let's you feel 100% confident that they can handle whatever comes up. Renee and Jean are in that elite category. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Jean-Sebastien and Marianne were fantastic petsitters. They took great care of our two cats, Henri and Baby. They stopped by a week before the sit to do the introductions and we felt immediately at ease. When we come back, Henri usually gives us the cold shoulder for leaving, but this time, he was all happy and acting like we never left. Jean-Sebastien and Marianne even left us some welcome home gifts. What a sweet touch! Would recommend them to any cat parents and we sure hope they can sit for us again in the future.

We recommend Chantal as a Zeewoi! She took care of our two cats, Juan and Willy, over the holiday season of 2023/24 while we left town to see family for about two weeks. Chantal was easy to communicate with and took great care of our cats and our home. We highly recommend and Chantal and we will definitely invite Chantal to stay again for future house sits!!

If Jessie writes an application to housesit for you, your search is over! She is amazing. This is the second time she comes to take care of our two beloved cats and house and the minute she steps in, I am on vacation. Jessie is warm, present and loving but also attentive to details. Coming back from vacation, the cats are calm and happy and the house looks great. I am grateful beyond words! Thank you Jessie and please come back!
