Autumn, our beautiful puppy, stayed with Karen and Phil for 11 days when we were on holiday. Autumn was well looked after and loved spending time there. I am very happy with the service provided by We Love Pets Belfast. All of the dog walkers are very professional and obviously have a passion for their work. We were delighted to find Karen, a pets home from home! Our cocker spaniel is typically anxious and very attached but following his first meeting with Karen he didn’t look back when we dropped him off for a sleepover! Karen was extremely professional and always made sure to put our needs first. We have a very excitable young Collie who loved the care and attention provided by Karen and the team. Lots of play and walks with plenty of photo updates for us while we were on holiday. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Karen looked after my 2 rescues for a week while we went on holiday. Both my dogs are far from easy to manage with behaviour issues and we had been on the look out to find a trusted sitter that could manage them. Despite concerns (as it was the first time anyone other than family had ever looked after them), Karen made us feel so at ease and showed us that she clearly has alot of experience with all types of dogs. She lived in our home for a week and looked after our pups, sending us daily updates of pictures and videos of what they’d been up to. Our dogs absolutely loved her! They were crying at the window when she left… so safe to say she treated them like her own. We’re so grateful we now have Karen as a trusted pet sitter and can take holidays in the future knowing they are in safe hands. Thank you Karen ❤️

Leanne is the most welcoming host, a true cat lover. Wouldn't take my cat anywhere else. Cats are spoilt during their stay

Leanne is just so kind and caring and understanding of each individual cat's needs. She knows each of them by name and takes the time to get to know their personalities. I have left my cats with her on two occasions now and I know I don't need to worry about a thing, even though my boy adores his mummy and my girl is very timid. Leanne has won them both over to a tremendous degree and I am so glad to have found her. She only takes a small amount of cats at a time to alleviate stress that may be caused, which is great as each cat gets a lot of devoted time. Absolutely recommend her 100%.

Our cat spent a week here. Well looked after and Leanne the owner makes sure that they are kept well fed and clean. Also there a wee cat run so they can get a bit of exercise and variety in their day.

Beautiful cattery, caters to all cats Including those with special needs. Outdoor run which is spacious and lots of climbing room which is perfect for playing etc also very cosy inside, any cat outdoor or indoor will enjoy their stay something for everyone's little fur baby. Not to mention leanne has a passion for animals and loves all her little fur guests xx

My cats stayed here for 8days. It was their first stay away from home. They were well but not happy on my return. Being restricted to outside did not suit them but they were as comfortable as they could be in the circumstances. If your cats are used to living indoors then this is the perfect facility.

My cat was very well looked after while he stayed here, Leanne is very kind and attentive with the cats. I highly recommend this cattery if you need somewhere for your cat to stay.

I’ve brought my dog here twice now and she loves it! She always comes out exhausted and has such a great time socialising with other dogs. They take great care of the dogs and in terms of feeding, grooming etc it’s exceptional. For the price you pay you get 10 times the quality! Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else!

We have been leaving our 2 dogs with Walkapaws for 6 years and never had a problem. Staff are brilliant. I wouldn’t leave them anywhere else as our 2 love the human interaction as well as the important socialising with other dogs. Dogs are pack animals and need to have time with other dogs. Our dogs always come home happy and well cared for. We get photos and updates when away. They are brilliant.

My dog has been going to Walkapaws for 8 years now. There's been a few changes, but he loves it, and we are always happy with the care and attention he gets while he's in their care. Would 100% recommend it.

Had my 2 girls in for a day and groomed, they had a ball have known Lydia a long time when she used to board my big girl who was also a shepherd black. We have been bringing our boxer Herbie here for daycare and boarding since he was pup. He absolutely loves it, staff and all the doggy friends he has made over the years. Our dog has been coming here for years. The team are so good with her. Cant recommend this place enough. They go out of their way to make sure she is well looked after and we are updated regularly with pictures when we are on holiday. Any last minute requirements they try and help us out as much as possible. We'd be lost without them.

This place feels more like a resort than a kennel—our two dogs absolutely love it here! Both of our dogs are fed a raw diet, and one of them requires a special raw food with kibble, avoiding chicken and other ingredients. The staff accommodates this with no trouble at all, which is such a relief. They also send regular updates, which is fantastic—it’s so reassuring to see how much fun our dogs are having while we’re away. We really couldn’t thank the girls enough for looking after our weenies.

I was quite apprehensive about leaving Daisy in overnight boarding but within 5 minutes of meeting the ladies at GDA I needn't have worried! It's so clear they are passionate about what they do and Daisy absolutely loves being there. She recently had a six night stay and didn't even look back when we dropped her off! We returned home to a very content and tired dog after six days of fun with her pals at the resort. We had complete peace of mind while we were away and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Good Dog Academy - thank you !

Can’t recommend Good Dog Academy NI enough. Bruno has been going to daycare twice a week for a year now, he absolutely loves it and comes back shattered every time. We’ve also left Bruno on multiple boarding trips, one was even 10 days long. They sent over regular updates to keep our minds at ease. Ashley and Heather are also two of the nicest people I’ve ever met, they both have all the time in the world for you and your dog and are also so helpful when needing advice for your dog.

I left my fur baby here with her cousin and they shared a kennel. While we were on holiday we got updates regarding them with photographs of them enjoying themselves. It is so handy to where I live so I will be using them from now on. It was my dogs birthday while I was away and the photos show they celebrated her birthday with her. I am so happy I have found somewhere to leave her now. The girls were so amazing with them.

I can't recommend the good dog academy ni enough Heather & Ashley are both amazing girls .... from the minute coco & Bella arrived over xmas they were fussed over & made to feel at ease ... when I go up here to leave my dogs i feel these girls just don't do it as a job I feel like it's their passion they are animal lovers.... the place is like a 5 star furbaba resort ... my 2 even came home with a doggy bag from santapaws .... they both loved it.... They slept for hours when they got home they were so tired from playing .... I will definitely be booking them both back in for another fantastic few days in may .... I wouldn't go anywhere else as the girls constantly updated us too with photos & how they were getting on which means everything to me to see my dogs have so much fun & interaction this is why I will pick here every time ..... thank you good dog academy ni 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We took our first holiday in a long time this year and it was also the first time we needed to board our dog. As a member of our family, it was important to us that we find people who understood that we wanted him to socialise and have fun! Everyone at Good Dog Academy was excellent from start to finish. They kept us up to date with great pictures and made the whole process stress free. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend them to anyone. When we picked him up he was happy and curious and I've never been so pleased to pay for a service. Absolutely first class.

We entrusted our deaf border collie, Tadhg, who has several health issues, to Ashley and Heather at The Good Dog Academy NI for three nights. Despite our initial apprehension, their professionalism and expertise shone through from the moment they met Tadhg. Throughout his stay, they provided regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind. Tadhg returned home calm and happy, demonstrating the care and attention he received. Heather's understanding of border collies, having her own, further assured us of his comfort. This was Tadhg's first time away from us, and we're grateful it was a successful experience, thanks to Ashley and Heather's exceptional care and dedication.

I couldnt recommend Dog Tyred enough! My dog has been coming here since these guys opened, and she could not be any happier when I drop her in! Of course, a tyred dog is guaranteed after a few hours here, having fun and socialising with other dogs!

My golden retriever Jess is always tired and rarely hungry when she comes home from dog tyred . I work an alternative day each week and they always accommodate her so easily which I'm grateful of. Videos of her online always show her enjoying herself and the place is spacious with outdoor play aswell. Jess races in when she is dropped off. Great for socialism and a play date. I recommend them.

Our Beaker has been going to Dog Days since she was a wee pup, and yesterday she had her first birthday party, she loves going to daycare, and loves all of the staff and her new furiends! It has been great for her, and for us, she is so well socialised and she has tons of fun, and is always zonked when she comes home! I can't recommend or praise the team highly enough, we wouldn't send our girl anywhere else.

Alfie has been going to DogDaysNI for 4 years now. It has really helped him become more confident and he loves coming in to play with his friends. Emma and the team are fantastic and go above and beyond to celebrate special occasions like Halloween. I love getting brilliant photos of Alfie like these!

Miley, Nala and Dexter have all gone to DogDays from 14 weeks old. They absolutely love it and I can relax knowing they are well cared for and are having a ball. It’s great for socialising and they’re always wrecked when they come home. The staff are fabulous and really care for the dogs in their care.

Dog Days NI has been amazing for our little man Eric. He’s been going for 4 years now & we don’t know what we’d do without them! The team (especially Emma) are all incredibly caring & attentive. We love checking Instagram for photos & to see how his day is going. We both work from home full time but continue to send Eric a couple of days a week because he loves it so much! Henry has been going to dog days since he was a pup - almost 5 years! It’s the best thing to help socialise your dog. So handy when you work full time, drop off from 7.30 and pick up before 6. Dog days Newtownabbey are just the best. My dog Lulu has been going twice a week now for about a year. She absolutely loves it and runs to the door every morning to get in. She comes home content & exhausted with all the activities & running around playing with all the other dogs. The staff are amazing with her and very helpful with any questions I have. Also they stock Lulus favourite treats which is a bonus along with toys etc. All the dogs love the girls that look after them and I can go to work content she’s being well looked after. Lucy has been going to dog days for over 2 years now - I wouldn’t trust anyone else with her. All of the staff at dog days are so caring & attentive to the dogs. They understand their likes & dislikes and will always cater for all of the dogs. Lucy absolutely loves Emma. They always have fun activities on for all of the dogs (splash pool, enrichment games) etc. We would be lost without all of the team at Newtownabbey!

Bella loves dog days (school). The girls are so friendly and take time to get to know each dog. Bella was very nervous at the start but the girls were so patient with her and now she cries with excitement to get there. The updates are fantastic on social media. It makes our day to see her so happy with her friends and staff. The best doggy day care about!

The staff at dogdays are incredible. Our highly energetic border collie has amazing fun. All the dogs are given warm loving attention as well as plenty of games and exercise. Socialisation with other dogs has helped our dog to be calm and gentle. It has been a lifesaver for us. The staff are so friendly and helpful too. Nothing is too much bother. I feel our dog is safe and cared for there. Their facilities are great too with outdoor areas as well. The manager has so much experience with dogs, as well as qualifications in animal care. Their deals of 12 days for the price of 10 or 20 for 15 are also great value especially for anyone who has to go out to work-we have peace of mind she's well cared for. I heartily recommend this for your dogs.

Louise did a brilliant job with my cat Bonnie, who was originally a feral cat. Bonnie usually runs a outside and hides when someone comes to our house, however Louise managed to pet her and also give her treats from her hand on the meet and greet. This sealed the deal for me and reassured me I could leave Bonnie to be well cared for while away. We had our return flights canceled due the chaos of Fri 19th. However Louise saved the day and was able to step in for two more days and look after Bonnie until we could get home. She is an angel. Would highly recommend her especially for cats a bit more timid and untrusting. An excellent cat sitter,will definitely use again.

I had never used a cat sitting service before, but as I have recently adopted two senior cats, I was fearful that they may think I was 'sending them back' to shelter. I had heard of Louise's business through another fab cat lady (Leanne of Tinkerbell's), and gave her a call. From the minute I met Louise, I felt perfectly safe leaving my cats with her in their own home. She is very warm and friendly and it clear from the get go that she has the best interests of the cats at heart. She takes the time to find out their favourite things and also learns what she needs to know about the workings of their home environment - so she cares about your home while you are away as well. First class service with daily photos and updates and I swear when I came back my cats looked at me as if to say 'What are you doing here? Where's Louise?' They were happy, relaxed and not at all fussed that I wasn't about lol Highly recommend and will definitely use in the future. Thank you for everything Louise!

Highly Recommend Dibbles Cat Sitting, we went away for a few days and Louise took great care of our cat. She even cleaned the litter box and left everything as it was when we left. Kimmy was well looked after and kimmy had a great time with Louise!

Louise has been looking after my three ragdolls for about four years now and she is just wonderful. I was really nervous leaving them the first time I went on a trip but Louise cared for them amazingly well and kept me updated every day on how they were doing. She took time building the cats trust and always spends individual time with each of them. Louise will bring different interactive toys and yummy treats which quickly made all three fall in love with her! As soon as you meet her you can tell she is such a warm and genuine person with a beautiful passion for cats. Louise has also been extremely knowledgeable on a range of behavioural issues and gave me amazing helpful information and advice (alongside the vet) on how to manage this. Recently, Louise gave up her evening to accompany me and one of my ragdolls to a ladies home, as I unfortunately had to rehome my youngest raggie. This is not generally part of her cat sitting service but she was more than happy to offer to come with me to help me find the right home for Charlie. Louise really is good right to her core and if she has availability to look after your cats, they will be very lucky and very spoilt

Extremely happy with dribbles cat sitting services. Received reassuring videos and pics everytime she would visit. Found the house spotless and litter clean. My cat was happy to see her again when Louise returned our keys.

In summary - she's probably seems fine unless you have home cameras. Unfortunately, I have cameras recording 24/7 in a few rooms. I told her I have cameras at the meet and greet, and she was still neglectful towards my cats. They went 40 hours without litter being scooped, their fountains and dry food bowls were not cleaned at all in nine days, nor my cat grass watered (she did water the catnip once, I am trying to be fair and factual) and she only showed any real interest in my cats after I made it clear that I was now watching her ignore my cats instead of enjoying my holiday. I'm sure she'll have a reply about how much she loves cats and I'm overreacting. I have text conversations where she doesn't update every day, and at no point says anything is up with my cats until I say they're definitely not OK. I have her saying that she didn't use the automatic feeder because there wasn't a battery in it - again, to be fair and factual, the battery was in the bowls. You'd have had to pick it up and attempt to use it to find that out! She didn't bother with the ice pack for it once she did start using it, but by that point I'd stopped watching for my own sanity, so I couldn't tell her it was... Well, I'm not a professional cat sitter, but I usually keep it in the freezer. And obviously, there's the video footage. I'm trying to keep this short because it's easy for me to get too emotional and catty, if you'll excuse the pun. Happy to answer any questions privately if you can find this review on Facebook. I'm not going to engage in an argument online with someone who refused to watch the video evidence of what they did, or in this case, didn't do and instead chose to argue and say things like 'if I didn't scoop it's because they didn't need it' - well, if two indoor cats not using any of their trays for 24+ hours isn't a sign something is wrong, I don't know what is! Thankfully I could rewind and see them poo on my lovely cameras with time and date stamps. I recommend the cameras, at least.

Liam and Noel love it when they get a visit from Dibbles. Accomodating to all our requests. And the pictures of the cats sent to us are very reassuring.

We have 2 big dogs, and recently they stayed at A1 for 4 nights for the 1st time. We know our dogs well and we could tell they were both relaxed and happy when we collected them. Also the feedback we got from Barbara and Nigel was also spot on. It was clear they already knew them well enough. And we are confident the dogs were exercised daily. It means a-lot to have professional kennels, we feel we can trust, but more than that; they care about the animals. And its a bonus its close by! No hesitation in recommending.

Can't thank A1 enough for looking after my beagle for the last 9 days. Like a lot of pet owners, I was anxious about having to put him in kennels but with A1, there was absolutely no need. Louie was happy when we collected him yesterday and seemed to really enjoy his stay. I think he particularly enjoyed the company of the other dogs, which is a real bonus. I was also both delighted and reassured to receive a few pictures of him with his new friends. A1 was recommended to us and I can see why. I will definitely use them again.

We've been using A1 Kennels for 12 years and we wouldn't go anywhere else. Nigel and Barbara are brilliant and their love for Doggys is second to none. Our Wee Milly and Miss Willow were both very nervous around other Doggys and after a few stays in A1 Kennels they are now jumping out of the car to get in. A1 Kennels is an excellent location for anyone travelling from Belfast as it's only 30 minutes drive. A1 Kennels also have a Cattery for those people who have Cats as their Pets. Nigel also does Dog Grooming and we have always used Nigel to groom Milly and Willow. The facilities are amazing and It's Home from Home for our Beloved Furbabes. Definitely 5*.

A1 boarding kennels is the best kennels we have found for our dog Zuma. He is a rescue and Barbara and Nigel are brilliant with him! He has been able to get out in the fields with other dogs and always runs off happily when we take him there. In fact this time, they did too good a job and our dog was so torn about coming home! He would have stayed happily. Always feels confident he is being so well looked after and getting time outside to play with the other dogs. Brilliant service, so would highly recommend A1.

We left both our large dogs Eddie and Rocco with A1 for two weeks. We chose them because of the social aspect of the group area they have for the dogs which we thought was quite unique. While we were away they kindly sent through photos and updates and when we went to pick up our boys, they were both so chilled and happy, I don't think they wanted to come home! Excellent facilities, proper dog people so our boys naturally kept going back over to them for pats as we were leaving. We are booked to bring the boys back for a week in August and will definitely use again in future. Excellent service and such peace of mind. Highly recommend. ❤️😁

Barbara and Nigel are terrific hosts for our tribe of three boxers! Our dogs love their stays with them and never look back every time we drop them off. With the custom built play area, with covered area when the weather is wet (in Northern Ireland, who knew?) - and the trampoline - our dogs are always very happy there. With the added bonus that Nigel and Barbara upload pictures and videos onto Facebook we never feel too far from our fur-babies even when we’re away on holiday! Definitely have to recommend to any other dog lovers out there!

Having A1 recommended to me by a friend a few years back was the best thing ever! My dogs Riley & Miley love going to stay here and when we stop the car they run straight to the exercise paddock without a backward glance! This reassures us primarily that our dogs are happy here. Have always hated leaving our fur babies in kennels until we found here. Carla and the girls are amazing !!! I couldn't recommend them enough, our two are always happy to go and don't want to leave.

The girls here are absolutely outstanding and my dog loves coming here. On my initial visit Carla walked me round and showed me the facilities and it made me feel at ease leading my dog here. Then, when I collected her I could see how much all the team love and look after the dogs as mine didn’t want to leave.

Our absolute number 1 boarding kennel, we love them so much! We’ve boarded our 3yo GSD Austin here multiple times and they will always be our first choice! It’s so clear that they genuinely love spending time with the dogs and Austin always comes home happy, clean and well cared for! Can’t recommend them highly enough, the whole team are excellent!

My parents were stuck last minute for somewhere to leave wee dog while on holiday and Carla really went out of her way and looked after her really well. Would use again and highly recommend ! She also came home so clean and tidy!

Carla and her team are fantastic, always proffessional and genuinely seem to love looking after the dogs. My little dog blondie has stayed a few times now ...she absolutely loves it there ....Carla helped me out at very short notice a few weeks back as my big dog was ill ....I can't thank Carla and staff enough for all you done ....highly recommended..amazing place ....and blondie always comes home smelling amazing.

I was away from my cat for the first time and Rachel really helped to put my mind at ease. Having a meet and greet before hand, excellent communication and professionalism - I couldn't recommend her services enough, I will definitely be booking again. We found Rachael very last minute and we wish we had found her sooner! We had peace of mind with Rachael minding our little cat as she sent daily photos and videos. I have just had the experience of Rachael pet sitting my cat, Honey and it was a roaring success. Honey is a little timid but she appears to have taken to Rachael from the outset. I was provided with twice daily updates which were much appreciated and came home to a very happy and relaxed cat. In addition Rachael had hoovered and emptied the bins,imagine. It's such a relief to find someone who I trust to look after my cat. Rachael is so reliable and provides regular updates and pictures. My cat is usually quite shy but was all over her from the first meeting. Would 100% recommend Rachael to keep your pet settled and secure in their own environment/home while you are away from them.

I’d 100% recommend Home Comforts! Rachael was amazing with our cats when we went on holiday for a week. She was especially patient with our older cat, who tends to hide from strangers and often won’t eat when we go away. After some coaxing, she managed to win him around! I also really appreciated the daily updates and photos/videos. It’s great to know and see that they are being well cared for.

For the first time since I had my cat, I had to find a pet sitting service while I was away and was not disappointed by my choice. While my cat is very shy, Rachael has shown a lot of patience and attention to detail while looking after her and was always careful to provide updates and photos. I returned home to a happy ball of fur that looked like she did not miss anything in the two and a half weeks. I can definitely say that I will be getting in touch with Rachael in the future whenever I will need someone to look after my cat while I am away.

We've been using Canine Lodgings for our rescue hounds for the past year and they provide a fantastic service for day care and overnight stays in a home from home environment. Harry is brilliant with the dogs and they are safe and very well cared for and exercised in his fully secure space. Highly recommended!

Bruce has recently started going to Canine Lodgings for daycare once a week and I could not be happier to have found this place! It is extremely clear he is so well taken care of throughout the day and he comes home so exhausted from playing non stop. He literally gets so excited just driving up the driveway, a clear sign it’s a great place! I would definitely not hesitate to recommend them to everyone!
