Kateryna was brilliant. She's really lovely. We had a call beforehand to talk all about what Teddy needed and to plan her trip here. Communication was so clear and friendly. Unfortunately Teddy had an infection just before she arrived, but it was no problem for Kateryna. She looked after him really well, giving medication, taking him out etc. She left the apartment really clean and tidy. Would absolutely recommend Kateryna to anyone and would love to welcome her back in the future.

We were so happy with Toby and Chloe as dogsitters. As one of our dogs Max, who was in the shelter for many years and very shy is, even had confidence in Toby and Chloe as they have a lot of experience with dogs and could read him We received updates often on how things were going, with nice pictures of our dogs. The house was very taken care of, coming back in a cleaned house and even washed the towels and bed linen. They are 5-star dogsitters !

I can just say that I have been soo happy with Emily and Luisda! They are such a sweet and kind people. I felt really secure to leave my two cats with them. They replied really fast and sent lots of updates. It was the first time for me to leave Bobby with someone of zeewoi, but I think he had the best experience. Same for Willy, he is very shy but on the first day he was already having a cuddling session with them. This says A LOT!! Also when they left, there was good communication and the apartment was left in a great state with even some food and drinks left behind for me. There is no doubt that I would love to have them come over again to look after the two cats!! Thanks for everything :)

There aren't enough stars to express how great Elisa is. I was away for 3 weeks and left her to care for my 2 cats, one of which is very shy. I was concerned that he'd be scared the whole time, but Elisa won him over and they became close. I think she has a gift for animals. She sent me photos and daily updates, which I didn't think would be necessary after a period of adaptation, but I grew to look forward to them. Elisa also speaks several languages which was most helpful, as she had to deal with an issue with the apartment in Spanish, which she took care of and informed me of right away. She left the apartment clean and tidy and also left behind a couple of toys she bought for the cats. Elisa is highly recommended and I hope she'll be available if I go away again.

Some people are dog people. Lucy is definitely a dog person! She was an honorary member of the pack before we had even left the house. The daily photos and videos of the dogs having fun was lovely to receive. I was slightly worried they wouldn't want us back😀 100% recommended and would love to have Lucy back any time.

Diane and Julian are open minded and trustworthy pet sitters. Our two cats obviously felt comfortable. Even the shy cat has gained trust very quickly. Diane and Julian also took very good care of the house and the garden. It was our first sit and our expectations were exceeded by far. We always had the feeling that the house and the animals were in good hands. It was really nice to have met them and we can highly recommend Diane and Julian.

I never got to spend much time with Melody, but what time I did have she was really lovely. I got pictures and videos daily along with messages how the dogs were doing. The dogs really took to Melody, which going by the pictures and video they were either sitting on her or cuddled into her. Definitely the pictures spoke volumes of how both dogs related with Melody and were very comfortable. Melody took great care of the house too. I would have no hesitation of Melody sitting Rosie and Douglas in the future if she is in Scotland again.

Florence and Robert were outstanding sitters. We asked them to arrive a day early as our guests to learn the routine on our farm. In getting to know them we found them to be good hearted, down to earth people with a love of animals and diligent in learning our routines to care for our poultry, cats and dog as well as our garden and orchard. Not a typical or easy sit. We travelled with ease knowing our critters were being well taken care of. Arriving home, the house was very clean and looked well cared for. The animals were healthy as were the garden and orchard. Out pets missed them when they left – our dog stared down the driveway after them until their car was out of sight. It is nice to find sitters we would like to hang out with and we look forward to having them sit for us again.

Carole and Ron are excellent cat-sitters! They took very good care of my cat Lola and of my house. I came home to a happy cat and a very clean and tidy house. They sent me pictures of Lola and kept me updated, so that I had a very relaxed holiday. Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.

Toby and Chloe were one of the best house sitters we have ever had! As a small animal vet I have seen many types of pet sitters and these guys are top notch. Our pets are not easy either. We have special needs dogs, cats on medication, dogs with behavioral issues, horses, chickens, goats and a large (100 lb) Sulcata tortoise who needed close monitoring of the temperature in his barn. Everyone was thriving and happy when we came home. They read through the packet and asked thorough, thoughtful questions. They went above and beyond grooming, mucking and grazing the horses and goats everyday. They chopped greens and fruit daily for our tortoise. If we had known how amazing they were we would have booked a 3 week trip instead! Can't recommend them enough.

Catherine was a wonderful sitter for our 17 year old cat Zabba. She sent us pictures twice a day and kept us informed about Zabba’s daily activities. We came home to a clean home and would definitely recommend her as a pet/ house sitter. My only concern was that she doesn’t drive and with an older cat, I just prayed that Zabba didn’t need to go to the vet…. And he didn’t 🥰. We will ask her again for sure.

Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. The animals seemed to be happy and relaxed when we returned home and I believe Lindsey enjoyed getting to discover all of the eateries our town has to offer. A win-win for everyone!

Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.
