Took great care of our willow. The updates and pics while we were away was much appreciated. Went ahead and had our corgie groomed while being boarded. We now have someone we feel 100% confident with and will allow us to not feel so guilty about getting out of town for a weekend :). HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Best and most affordable groomer in the area! She spends so much time & pays attention to small details while also making my dog feel comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend

My dog loves people and having one on one time was great for him. The price per day is amazing especially compared to the big chain boarders that keep the dogs locked in their own kennels the whole time. Loved getting updates of him having a good time!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE! We boarded our labradoodle here 2 times and will never do it again. The first time was for 4 days, when we got him back he had a noticeable smell of urine when we got him in the car to go home. Figured maybe he just rolled around the the yard where other dogs peed, no big deal.. The 2nd time when we picked him up after being there for 3 days he was literally soaked in urine to the point where we had to put a towel down before he got in the car. Once in the car he smelled so strongly of urine that we had to put every window down in the car to keep from gagging the smell was so bad. These people should not even be allowed to board animals if they are going to treat them this way.

I have two Great Pyrenees and they were a mess since the "virus" closed our groomers shop. They conditioned their fur, which not even my regular groomer did. They did a great job! I would recommend them to anyone.

I am new in the area and called to just get my two dogs bathed. My appointment was for 8am. And I had to call them twice by 3 o clock to ask if they were done yet. I went back at 4:30 with still no call. They were still not done. My dogs didn't get water for the whole day. And my bill was $111.00. I was mortified.

My family has been taking our dogs here for over 30 years now. I continued the tradition with my own two dogs. I live 3 hours away and make the trip in every time. The staff and owner have always been good to me and my family. Highly rate coming here

Literally the worst place I've taken my dog. At first I gave the place a chance, it was cheap and was very close. The first 2 times I kenneled my husky, she was alright but she smelled very strongly of pee and always came home VERY thirsty. Today I kenneled her as I was away. I picked her up at around 7:50, the man watching her let me go in and told me the price was now UPed, it was once 20 dollars to now 30. When I got her in the car her entire face was wet with urine and she felt very dirty. What's worse is because she's a husky the urine soaks into her fur and she instantly needs a bath when she gets home. I know it's the cheapest but it's really not the best.

Do NOT take your pets here!! My dog has been groomed frequently by various groomers and has never acted so nervous and depressed as he did when I picked him up today. Not to mention he was there for 9 hours. I dropped him off at 8 am, was told he would be done by 2. I live 40 minutes away so an approximate time is appreciated. After 3:00 I called and they said he’d be done at 4:00. I decided to go to the groomers at 5:00, he still wasn’t finished and he had urine and feces on him! The owner wouldn’t even talk to me, she relayed messages back and forth through another worker. After 20 minutes of waiting I said I just want to take him home regardless if he’s finished or not. They wouldn’t give me my dog until I paid the $75! Who wants to pay $75 for a dog covered in feces!? Moral of the story: SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Wonderful experience, we were nervous about leaving our new puppy, but they were great with her. We called everyday and they gave us an update how she was doing. They even stayed late for us to pick her up the evening we got back. Trimmed her even on late notice.

Gail is wonderful. Puppies always come out looking beautiful and smelling good. I can day spa day and they go straight out the door.

I took my dog in to get a short cut and they shaved him bald and also cut him on his stomach with the shaver and didn't even tell me. When I called them they said I asked for a shave not a cut. They were rude and uncaring that my dogs double coat probably will not grow back properly. Very unprofessional, arrogant and ill informed owner and staff

My dogs side was pee strained when I picked him up. When I went to pick him up no one was there as they had said they would be when I dropped him off. I tried the number given but couldn’t contact anyone. I was contacted later that night and told that they had decided to go to a party. I had to pick my pet up the next day and pay for another day. I live 45 minutes away. Not at all happy with my pets care. Will never use this kennel again.

Dianna & Co. are the best! They took care of our animals on several occasions. We are so sad that we had to move so we can't use her services anymore!! Our hounds have been kenneled in the past with our vets office and even private kennels but they never received the attention that Dianna & Co gave them. And her prices are so much better than the vet/kennel because of the special attention she gives them. Our hounds were able to sleep and play in their own environment so they seemed so much happier when we would arrive home. I can't believe we never used a pet sitter before. I just hope we can find a comparable sitter in our new location. Dianna was so sweet to come over and say good-bye to us and the hounds before we moved. We would trust her with our kids any day!!! We miss you!!!!!

Awesome service, Diania and her employees are amazing people!!! She makes sure your pets are cared of and more. When she agrees to look after your furry loved ones she goes above and beyond her duties. It just amazes me how she is with animals. I'd absolutely use Johnstown Pet Services in the future!!

Diana is just awesome with the pets. Boarding pets can be a hassle, and having to deal with kennel cough after your vacation is not fun. Diana cares about your pets just as much as you do. She just doesn't look after your pets when you are on vacation, if you have to work later than usual, she can stop by and let your dogs out so you don't have to rush to get home.

Unless you have a dog that gets let out and fed, don’t bother. They don’t like the smell of cleaning litter boxes.

Great job by Johnstown Pet Services. You can go away and feel at ease knowing they will take care of your pets!!

I called to ask if availability, and said specifically for special needs. It was a holiday, and it was very busy. I'm sure they would be accommodating. I hope to try the service again.

This is a fantastic small business run by a true pet lover, with a huge fenced in yard to exercise the dogs, daily photos and kind texts, and lots of play time with the other dogs who are boarding at Mad Pawz. Truly first rate in every respect, with clear communications and fair pricing. The owners are lovely people who will love your dogs. Our family travels regularly. And as much as we love them, we can't always take our two dogs with us. A friend recommended trying Faith and her family at Mad Pawz for the very best care in the area. And our friend was right - we feel like we hit the jackpot in dog boarding.

Faith and Justin at Mad Pawz are awesome! They sent us photos and updates of our Luna everyday and even got her a pup cup for spoil your pup day! When we picked Luna up, Faith was very informative on how everything went. 10/10 recommend!!

We found Mad Pawz by chance while we were frantically looking to board our Bo right before a trip Puerto Rico. The place we normally take him was full because of course we wait until the last minute. Of course I was hesitant as he had never gone there before but I tell you what, I’m normally not a lucky person, but we hit the jackpot. Mad Pawz isn’t a typical boarding facility, it’s a home away from home. What boarding facility has ever sent you pictures of your pets every single day? Without fail, every day I received a picture of Bo and I could tell that he was so happy to be there by the look on his face. It made me smile and tear up a little every single time. He’s not sad in a kennel all day. He’s happy and playing with his new best friends! It gave me a peace of mind that you can’t really even put a price tag on. I didn’t worry about him for one second while I was gone. I only leave reviews if I am so extremely happy with something that I feel I have to tell others. If you’re looking for a HOME (not a kennel) away from home for your pets, I can’t recommend anywhere better!

It was a great atomsphere for my 2 dogs they had a blast, Mad Pawz sent me photos of them playing or laying around relaxin. They had a party and the dogs get pup cups. Thanks Mad Pawz job well done

Mad Pawz takes great care of my dog when I'm away, and it's been a big help with her socialization with other dogs. Prices are fair, and with their new location, the dogs have a big yard to play in.

Horrible customer service from Faith. She did not check the paperwork or ask any questions prior to his first visit nor did she try to get to know him before taking him inside. We heard Faith screaming at the other dogs from the front yard when we arrived. Then she continued to tell us that she was leaving to run errands but her husband was in the yard. When we arrived for pickup, Justin was in the yard and the dogs were inside. Completely unacceptable to be paying for a sitter and he’s not being monitored especially when other dogs are present. Justin was very nice and friendly during pickup and the only positive outcome of this experience

I was very apprehensive about leaving our boy Loki with a boarding place and I’m so glad we chose Mad Pawz! He was taken such great care of and he absolutely loved it there. He was treated like one of the family and it gave us such peace of mind knowing he was doing so well! They send daily updates and photos and that was wonderful! Highly recommend this for your fur babies!

Such an amazing dog daycare spot! My family & I went to go experience the Allegheny train ride, so we needed to drop our little fur baby for a couple hours. He had lots of fun with the other dogs and would definitely recommend it to others! Faith was super sweet and we felt very comfortable dropping our little pup.

Tom came over for a meet and greet and went over everything in detail. I felt very comfortable letting him watch my dogs. He followed my instructions exactly as I explained them to him. I loved the report card and photos! I highly recommend and will definitely be using their services again!

We could not have asked for a better experience!! Tom was very thorough and wanted to make sure that no box was left unchecked before babysitting our poodle for our vacation. I received updates every single day with informative notes to let me know how Oliver was doing. Tom was responsive to my texts, and very loving to our baby boy. Clearly, Tom and his team worked with our Oliver during his 30 minute walks as we noticed Oliver with much better walking behavior upon our return! Tom and his team were faithful in watering our plants, ensuring that Oliver had music at night and had cuddle time every day. We are grateful and will use Tom’s service again ♥️♥️♥️

Initially, I became aware of Tom and Desiree through Petco‘s rover app. We started with them approximately eight months ago, and I will never have anybody else as long as they’re available. My litter boxes are clean when I come back as if I were there myself. He sends pictures of my cats, even to show that he plays with them. I recommend them highly

This is the third (or fourth?) time that I have used Tom & Desiree's service and they are just wonderful to work with. Their website makes the booking and payment process super easy and they have been great at communication leading up to and at the time of service - I have used them for both drop-in visits and dog walking for my two Labrador retrievers. They always send me a detailed "report card" - including photos - after each visit and the best part is that my dogs absolutely LOVE them (especially Tom) so I never worry about them when I know Tom & Desiree will be stopping by!

Being my first experience doing something like this I was nervous leaving my fur child but Tom and Desiree took great care of my pal baron, fed him on schedule took him out to play and interacted with him, even cleaned up an accident. They sent me pictures and he was happy and enjoying the new friends he made. The house was just like I left it when I returned home along with one happy doggy thank you so much for taking care of my best friend.

Tom & Desiree are the best! They took care of my dog Mia while I was recently on vacation. They walked her 3 times daily and showed her much love and attention. Mia is a Lab/Beagle mix and at times she can be a handful!! Her hunting instincts kick in when she see a rabbit, squirrel or chipmunk and to say she pulls on her leash is an understatement!! Tom handled her very well and was up to the challenge. I can honestly say I did not worry about her at all while she was in their care. I will definitely use Tom & Desiree Pet Service in the future! I have multiple animals. Not all of them required attention but they took time to become acquainted with them. Of those cared for, none were rushed and all were given positive encouragements. Very patient. Even went out of the way to secure pill pockets for one needing medication. Also asking if anything else was needed before finishing up

Tom took great care of our dogs and our home while we were on vacation. My dogs are still watching the door hoping he is coming back to play. Tom and Desiree are very nice people. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about Tom and Desiree’s Pet Sitting business! I feel so relieved that my cats are in Tom’s care. He is the most efficient when it comes to taking care of my boys! He plays with them, gives them lots of love and treats. He has to give meds twice a day to one of them and that’s where the relief comes in. He treats my pets as if they were his pets. Plus, Tom will bring in mail, clean, water plants and even feed the birds outside. I feel so very fortunate to have Tom & Desiree are in my life! ( he also sends pictures every visit!) Please give them a try!

Jen is great. She's kind and funny, professional, responds quickly, the cats loved her (well, one did and the other one was completely unimpressed, but that's approval in her case) and we received pictures of the cats over the time we were gone that made us laugh (she nailed their personalities in the pictures) and reassured us that the cats were receiving excellent care while we were away. On our first meeting she made a ton of notes and the next time we asked her to care for our dummies, we didn't have to leave a care note or remind her about the routine as she'd taken such thorough notes about our cats and their care the first time. We highly recommend Jen to anyone who needs pet care.

I am very impressed with Jen's Home and Pet Care services. I recently took a much needed trip away and left my 4 dachshunds in her care. She was very pleasant to speak to and enthusiastic about this huge undertaking. Jen offered references with glowing reviews. My pups were extremely calm when I came home and I can't tell you how appreciative I am to have her take care of them. Jen is such a blessing.

Jen quickly won over our rescue who now looks forward to her daily visits! She has been super responsive and flexible which is exactly what we needed after an autoimmune diagnosis prevented him from attending his usual daycare. He now happily takes her for long meandering walks and she indulges him- what more could a pet parent want? Highly recommend.

We've been using Mimi's for a while now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Sherry is wonderful and cares about our dog, Daisy. She offers doggy daycare as well as longer term kennel services. Her prices are very fair.
