Edith was an absolute pleasure to host. In advance of the house sit, we exchanged WhatsApp messages. She was responsive and super flexible when we asked to amend the dates to arrive a day earlier then planned which we really appreciated. Edith arrived on time, together with her wonderful travel campanion Bernie and we immediately warmed to them both. They asked lots of questions genuinely interested in our two cats and we received daily updates with photos which was great and reassuring. Upon our return home, we noticed how spotless the house was. Both the beds were stripped and the towels gathered. The floors were hoovered. There was fresh scones and some homemade soup in the fridge. And above all else, our two cats were comfortable, well fed and obviously well looked after. Thank you Edith and Bernie for being two of the nicest HouseSitters we’ve had the pleasure of hosting. We couldn’t recommend you both highly enough and you will be welcome back to Kilcorney at any time. You are both wonderful ambassadors for everything that is great about zeewoi.

The house was still clean and tidy when we returned from three days away and both dogs were happy. The cat took a little while to return but she is naturally very nervous of new people. Someone was smiling down on us when Kevin and Mary clicked on our very first House Sitter advert. They are straightforward, pleasant, reliable and fun. They kept in touch about their own plans when their flights were delayed. They tactfully left the house when our own cancelled flights meant we were staying a few hours longer than first planned. They sent just the right amount of photos, videos and texts of our cat while we were away! We all loved that. And on our return, oh my word, the house fairies had been to visit! They somehow managed to walk the perfect line between improving everything, without interfering at all. Clean, tidy, replenished. They asked what food we’d like on our return and boy did they deliver! Home made bean stew :-) and different things for the children. Really kind and generous. Communication was clear and also witty..! They dealt with the churn of small mammals our “somewhat independent” cat brought through the flap without complaint. They are a really nice couple, exuding a lovely American warmth and charm. It was a real pleasure, Kevin and Mary, thank you.

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Ruoyi was the perfect sitter for our cat Toni! We would highly recommend her to any pet owner, and hope she can sit for us again in the future. Ruoyi was very thorough - she made sure there was full alignment on all the specifics of her pet duties, and she asked thoughtful questions regarding details we forgot to include in our guide. She always provided us timely updates at the agreed cadence, and gave us a ton of photos. From the photos, it's clear she got in a lot of play time with Toni, which we really appreciated! :) We were able to enjoy our entire vacation stress-free knowing Toni was in such good hands. Ruoyi left our apartment completely clean and offered to wash linens.

Laura came across the country to sit for us. She arrived a day early and from the moment my pets met her our Lokie was smitten. We have one shy cat Luna and she was out and about on the first night. Laura kept us updated and shared her Adventures as well. We do live in a small hideaway of a town so seeing that she was able to enjoy herself was nice. We returned to a clean home, laundry done also, and very content pets. Lokie was sad for a few days as he missed his friend. We would recommend Laura as a sitter to anyone and would have her back again. 5 plus stars. ⭐

Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

If Cung ever applies to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the offer. You will not be disappointed. Cung is among the top (if not the top) sitter I’ve ever had and I’ve been on this site for years. Primarily, Cung is very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Cung kept me abreast of his plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk him through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Cung really cares. When he got to my apartment after what I assume was a long day of traveling, I explained the care instructions and he was very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Cung followed those exactly. Third, Cung makes you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out within an hour of me being away - very fast for my cat as he is shy. Cung must have a calming energy towards animals. Cung was also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 5 minutes. I really appreciated that. My cat threw up at one point and Cung answered all of my questions to assess whether my cat was sick or had just eaten too fast. Fourth, Cung will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The sheets were washed and folded on my bed. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Cung also respects your property. I have an extensive computer setup that he used for work and he was very respectful of that equipment. He asked if he could use it beforehand, which was incredibly polite since he could have used it and I wouldn’t have known. In sum. You need to jump at the opportunity if Cung offers to sit for you. I came home to a very happy cat. Hope he will sit for me again sometime!

My husband and I reached out to Toby & Chloe after reading their profile and impressive reviews only a week before our trip, since our scheduled sitter had to cancel at the last moment. They were very friendly and quick to respond to chat from the very beginning, and ended up exceeding our expectations during their two week stay. It was evident they had thoroughly read our Welcome Guide beforehand, as they arrived knowledgeable and prepared to care for our home and pets. They were very willing and happy to take the necessary time with us to walk through the house and meet our cats, as we got them acclimated with our daily routines and answered any questions. Shortly after we left, our city had a heat wave come through, and after immediately notifying us, Toby went beyond the call of duty and inspected our struggling AC unit to pinpoint the issue. As far as cat care is concerned, we have two seniors (who have more sensitive tummies) that can get irritated after a fur ball or swallowing anything out of the ordinary. When this occurred, Toby & Chloe stepped in and took wonderful care of our cat duo; softening their food and even cradling while hand-feeding them for extra comfort. We truly could not have asked for more affectionate and responsible sitters. We returned to a spotlessly clean home, happy cats, and well maintained plants and pool. (They even cleaned our dusty Kitchen pendant lighting, which requires a steady hand and is definitely a time-commitment …We felt like professional housecleaners had been there!) On our way back, Toby & Chloe stayed in communication with us to monitor our arrival time, allowing them to care for our cats until just before we got home. Overall, they are very reliable and trustworthy sitters whose genuine goal is to provide a top-quality sit, while maintaining your household and seamlessly transitioning to your pets daily schedule.

Kristine was wonderful again as our local sitter from just down the street. The boys take to her like she is their best friend whenever she comes to sit with them. She sent us photos of them playing, relaxing, drinking water and eating so we knew they were well taken care of. The house and the cats were in excellent shape and excellent hands while we were away. RUN AWAY !!! Or simply ask to come into the villa, you'll see, she won't accept. She will never let you see how the animals are treated. But you will definitely see him with a choke collar and a cage, too suspicious... a never-before-seen situation. In the attached photo you can see that he is missing some hair so he was tied up all night and in my opinion he tried to struggle in vain. Because she makes people believe that she lives there when that's not true, the dogs haven't even come out. The two packages of kibble were brand new, they were not even opened, my dog had neither water nor meals for 24 hours. I had him vaccinated before arriving there... It was imposed by Virginie, which I completely understand... A shame I don't tell you about my dog's loader when I pick him up. I don't know if the cleaning is even done! Because I can tell you between the smell of my animal and the state in which I picked it up. Don't be unconscious!!!! VISIT THE PREMISES BEFORE LEAVING YOUR ANIMALS!!
First 6 day care for my little one with the stress that goes with it. I'm delighted, Virginie also knows how to put dogs and owners at ease. A first for us to have to leave our dog for 3 days, more urgently, with the stress that goes with it. However, we were reassured to be able to leave her in the hands of Virginie and in the company of her dogs! Nanny even knows how to form couples ;) We will undoubtedly repeat the experience here when we need it.

We have taken our dog Basil here several times over the past year and are always pleased. The owner and staff are friendly and courteous and have accommodated us when our flights home have been delayed or cancelled. And also my dog comes home with no eye boogers and I'm so appreciative of that!
Our cat Yogi stayed for 10 days before New Year among other cats and was visibly sick when we picked her up. 1) She was suffering from serious fatigue and had very significant weight loss. A pension should notice this abnormality, take action and alert us by an urgent call before we picked her but they did not. When our cat came home she could not eat food and was lying sick and vomiting! 2) We spent 400€ + on veterinarian expenses. 3) Multiple family members got sick with the exact stomach flu symptoms.. fatigue, vomiting, slight fever, diarrhea and muscle pain. Children were badly effected. 3) Today is two weeks after we picked her up from the pension but our cat is still not fully recovered. We feel lucky to have recovered our cat alive from PDM. We previously used PDM to our satisfaction but this case something was wrong, perhaps the responsible person was on holidays and a junior was on duty? I hope they will take corrective action asap!
We have kennelled our cats here when we're on holiday for years. They offer two options for cats: housing in "collectivité" which means in a space with lots of other cats, or in individual kennels, which is best for cats with special diets or who need regular medication. They are friendly and professional and very responsible about dealing with any medical problems that arise. I have never had to worry about my cats' health or safety while here. Definitely recommend for those times when friends to keep the cat aren't available!

Swann is an amazing “dogsitter”. It is extremely hard to find someone trustworthy to look after our animals but I was quickly convinced by Swann.
