Leslie took care of our dog, koi fish and kept our hummingbird feeders full. Her dog Benny was a great companion to our dog. She even checked in on my mother in law in the cottage. Thank you Leslie!

Happy Pets. Happy Home.
I had the pleasure of having Mindy watch my four dogs for the first time, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care and attention she provided. She was able to take my last minute booking request and I couldn’t be happier. Mindy was incredibly active in her communication, which instantly put my mind at ease. Coming back to four happy dogs was such a relief, and I never once worried while I was away. I truly hope to have Mindy dog sit for us again in the future. Thank you, Mindy, for your exceptional care and dedication to our furry family members!

Daniel: current world traveler originally from California
It was such a relief to have Daniel holding down the fort and providing loving care to our cat, Tuna. We had to be away for six weeks while Kevin underwent stem cell transplantation, so we were under no small stress. Also, the doctors couldn't give us exact dates. But Daniel was accommodating and flexible. He took any concerns we had completely off our shoulders. He kept in touch, sent photos of our happy pet, and assured us that all was under control, so we could breathe easier on that front! He is a kind and generous man. We are indebted to him!

Roger and Brooks were the perfect house sitters. They took great care of our house and our cats. We got daily updates and photos of the cats. Chivers and Frank Cooper were clearly very happy and relaxed in their company. The photos that Brooks sent were great, we missed the cats so much but could clearly see that they weren’t missing us at all! On our return, our house was spotlessly clean and tidy. We would definitely give Roger and Brooks a big 10/10 and would welcome them back any day!

Janie was amazing!! She has a true connection with animals. She took great care of my two cats, not just feeding and litter cleaning, but enjoying them and loving on them. She was also great with communication and pics! My house was immaculate when I got home! Cleaner than I left it for sure. And she left me a beautiful box of seashells she had collected at a previous sit. I would highly recommend Janie to anyone! She will take great care of your pets and home so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

Cindy took wonderful care of our sweet cat, Gandalf, and our house. When we had cell service, she sent messages and lovely photos. Thanks, Cindy!

Claudia left my apartment very clean. She communicated some areas where Ollie's training could be improved, and worked on it herself. She also sent some updates while I was gone. I would totally recommend Claudia! She's an animal lover!

Kyle and Claire did a great job with Hazel and our home during an unusually rainy week here in SLO. We very much appreciate their extra efforts while we were way.

It was my first time using zeewoi so I was slightly apprehensive, but as soon as I heard from Kendra I knew both my cat and my apartment would be in safe hands. Kendra was great with communicating and coming back quickly, very friendly and clearly experienced with sitter jobs. Whilst staying at my place she sent me regular updates. Once I returned home the flat was spotless. I would highly recommend Kendra and I would certainly use her again. She’s great!
Hannah and Joseph housesat our three kitties for a week and a half while we were traveling for the holidays. They were very communicative and conscientious. We received daily updated on our cats with cute and funny pictures. When they noticed our 17yo cat, Amber, wasn’t eating very much, they let us know and we were able to resolve the problem quickly. They were also very resourceful and understanding when we ran out of some cat supplies. Hannah and Joseph took great care of the house. Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived back, and we had a short time to get to know them on our arrival. We would be fortunate to find more house sitters like them, and would of course love to have them back in the future! We wish Hannah and Joseph luck in their travels!
Stefany helped me out big time by stepping in when I asked. She's a local sitter and I wasnt' having any responses so I contacted her and she fit me into her schedule even during the holidays and right after another sit across the country. She took great care of my two cats and home and I very much appreciate it!
Kira was the best sitter we have ever had! I chose Kira because of her reviews, ability to sit during the dates I needed and willingness to communicate with my daughter/neighbor who co-parents Colby with us. I am always a bit anxious about having someone in my home and trusting them with our fluffy son. Kira put us at ease almost immediately. I received photos and videos everyday throughout the stay. I got updates on Colby’s activity and the fun they were having together. My heart felt full knowing that Colby was being well loved and cared for. Additionally, Kira was so kind to keep us posted on any deliveries that arrived at the house. Finally, when I arrived home, the house was tidy and clean! Again, I am so grateful that Kira was there keeping the house and my cat safe! I hope she will come back and sit again. I know Colby would love to see her again.
Kathryn was amazing. She helped me figure plans out after another sitter dropped out at the last minute and saved the day! My cat and fish were well taken care of, and she was super communicative when my tank had a problem child moment. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, helpful, and caring sitter!!
Ruthee was a fabulous pet sitter for our three cats while we were gone for a month. Prior to the sit, she was consistent and communicative; she even came over early for a meet and greet to learn the routine. During the sit, she took great care of our three cats by playing with them (she made a fun cat toy!), scooping litter, feeding and watering them, and sent us text updates and pictures. We came home to happy fur babies and a clean home. She left the place very tidy which was greatly appreciated! We are so thankful for Ruthee and would recommend her should the opportunity arise. Your fur babies would be lucky to spend time with her. Thank you again for everything, Ruthee!
Kimberly was absolutely wonderful, and we couldn't have had a better sitter for our first experience with zeewoi. Marshmallow loved Kimberly instantly and our cats (who can be a little standoffish) opened up right away with her. She asked great questions that helped us tailor our Welcome Guide to make sure we could be good hosts. Thank you, Kimberly!
Anna was a wonderful sitter for our furry friends. My dog, Luke, bonded with her and was sad when she left. My cats would crawl under the covers and curl up with her at night. She is a true animal magnet and lover. I highly recommend Anna to anyone who wants their pets to recieve first class love while away.
Florence is everything you want in a cat sitter! We have two cats that need a lot of human attention. One takes multiple medications twice a day and they both are used to eating on their own schedule and having people around so it is always very important to us to find a pet sitter that will be spending a lot of time in the apartment and that doesn't mind being very attentive. We were able to meet Florence before our trip and felt 100% confident that she would take great care of our cats. Florence is comfortable giving medication, she sent us photos and updates and left our apartment spotless. We were so happy that we had her come back the following week when we went away again for a short trip! We will definitely contact Florence again whenever we travel and hope that she is available!
Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home for free at Zeewoi.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, $21/day per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Zeewoi.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Zeewoi cat sitters for free, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
Had my sweet Mora Kitty stayed here for six nights and it was a phenomenal experience for her and us. They sent many photos of her which really helped us relax while away. The people working there are warm and love animals. Pricing is very fair and seemed very willing to accommodate food scheduling. Would definitely come back for any pet housing needs.
Our dog is super-friendly and high-energy - to the point of sometimes being obnoxious. TH figured out the best practices for him to have a positive stay without negatively affecting the other dogs there. We have boarded and done daycare here multiple times, and are always happy with our experience.
We call this place dog ranch, and boy does our dog love dog ranch! We bring him here whenever we have to go on an overnight trip that we can't bring him on. He loves playing with the other dogs all day, and we love seeing the pictures they take of him. Our dog is a social dog who loves all humans and dogs, so it's a good environment for him. Highly recommend!
Excellent kennel care for our dog while we visited San Luis Obispo and were unable to keep her at our lodging. Very friendly staff, not only to us, but to the animals. Nice clean facilities. Lovely location. Nice large common area, and thoughtful placement with other animals. Highly recommended.
The people are so friendly the dogs have a great time every time they go to day care
Thousand Hills took such great care of my two cats! It was my first time boarding them and I was nervous about it, but the staff at Thousand Hills updated me with pictures and a "report card" (I've attached an image sent over by them during their stay) and was very accommodating when I wanted to check in over the phone during their week-long stay. The staff was attentive and my cats really enjoyed themselves. The staff even notified me after check out when they realized I had left a toy I had brought for my cats behind, and they held it for me for a month until I could pick it up since I had just moved out of town. Also very very affordable and great for last minute boarding! In summary, Thousand Hills has an amazing staff and I couldn't be happier with my experience boarding. Thank you!
Our dear Corgi (Fig, 18 months old) came back a few days ago from Thousand Hill Pet Resort. It was his first boarding experience in his life (one week) and it appears he had a REALLY good time. We also had him bathed right before pick which was really nice. We could not have been happier with the staff and how well Fig went right back into his routine with 0% evidence of stress. Thanks!!!!
Thousand hills pet resort is a must for pet owners who want to go on a trip. Or need even just daycare day. Care is a low cost amount and they can save cars on file for you and have information about your pets under their file for easy drop off. And pick up and payment. They are very professional and take good care of every dog that they board or watch for daycare. My 2 Jack Russell terriers are always happy to go there and get excited once they know where we are. What is nice is that you can leave feeding instructions. Toys measures feds and other things when you need to have them boarded for when you are going on a trip or out of town for several days. This has always been a pleasant experience for me. Using thousand hills pet resort in San Luis Obispo, California.
They treated our dogs great during their overnight stay. It's a cute place with very caring and attentive staff.
Wow! We are staying nearby from out of town, and used Thousand Hills Pet Resort for daycare for our two poodle mixes in their first daycare experience. From tip to tail, everything was perfect. The online portal was easy to navigate and get all of our information uploaded. We talked to Collin the night before we came and he was so helpful and didn’t mind our many questions. He assured us our dogs would have “the best day of their lives.” Drop off was easy, and our dogs happily trotted off with Collin. Pick up was similarly a breeze. We didn’t need to remind Collin who our pups were, and he got them right away, and gave us a report card. The are currently passed out, exhausted and happy after definitely having one of the best days of their lives. We will be back!
We couldn’t be happier with our Harley’s cut. He is not the most cooperative when getting groomed and the ladies here know how to handle him. The facilities are so nice and clean. 100% recommend.
Beautiful pictures and marketing, it looks great! On the other hand, living next to this place is an absolute nightmare, and that's saying it nicely. These dogs bark, wine, screach, and howl consistently all night long. It sounds like a property of anxiety, anxiety, and anxiety. It's mind-blowing how these humans on this property are able to sleep at night with these dogs yelping and echoing all night long. It's enough to drive somebody crazy. I feel sorry for the dogs that just want to sleep at night.
Proceed with caution in leaving your pets at this boarding facility. If you value a place where they take care of the employees, good ethics, and a safe environment, you will need to go somewhere better. This is first-hand experience. They discriminate against employees with disabilities. Passive aggressive responses and no accountability. There is a serious lack of communication, which then results in chaos when emergencies arise. The staff works hard to please the customers and the pets, but the owners do not support them and rather berate them. The employees are overworked and undertrained. The facility is run without proper training, especially when it comes to dog attacks or dog fights. If you are considering boarding your cat, please do not. The owner has thrown items at cats she thought were "vicious" so she can exist the boarding area. There have been many times when cats had no water prior to a shift. They will pretend like they care, but it’s not the truth. The only goal is to be the most profitable in the area, even if that means risking the health and safety of staff and animals.
Our muttsky loves it here. We've been daycare customers for about two years, with visits a once or twice per week. Their drop in policy is very accommodating. Our dog gets lots of exercise with compatible dog friends and comes home clean, frisky and (importantly) tired. We've had good experiences with the grooming and kenneling as well. We always recommend Creekside for doggy day care.
The Staff is great, very attentive understanding and always takes care of my Pup! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Apollo who is 14 years old tried their Dog Grooming Service today. He's so happy, he likes Amanda alot. He's clean, smells soogood, and wags his tail alot.
I would give 0 stars if I could. This place changed my dog forever. Me and my dog are still scarred from this experience from Creekside. I started to notice he was extremely anxious when I picked him up, he was super desperate to jump in the car. He was between 4-7 months old. After a week I started to notice burns on his feet and neck. I knew they were shocking him and putting a shock collar on him. They never talked to me about any behaviors or asked if they could put a shock collar on him. When I went to complain they said he was being rowdy and was barking a lot and was stirring up the other dogs. Creekside admitted they used a shocking device on my dog. They also mentioned that the owners were having marital issues and that the one that kept the boarding place was having "depression" problems. I don't care, I don't know how this was relevant. I was paying for a service to have my dog watched, not be abused. He was a puppy dog - he is supposed to be energetic. To this day, he doesn't trust strangers and I have to be super aware of where I take him. He hasn't been the same ever since. I didn't take him back even though I still had a week paid left. I have pictures of his burns that I will upload once I find them. Also my friend had a bad experience at this place as well. Do not trust them with your beloved pets!
Wonderful place to board your dogs! The staff really cares about making my pup comfortable, and he always comes home happy and safe. Highly recommended if you are taking a vacation and want to make sure your dog is safe and well cared for. I can't recommend them enough!!! I trust Creekside!
I dropped off my dog here for a weeklong vacation and the staff were so kind and helpful. They helped alleviate any fears and offered to send my kiddos text picture updates to show my dog was doing okay. I would recommend this place to anyone!
They did a great job of taking care of our dogs. I appreciate that they got play time with other dogs
Five Stars ✨ for Springdale Pet Ranch!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Springdale Pet Ranch! My dog, Starlight, absolutely loves his time there, whether it's for daycare or boarding. Every time I pick him up, he's happy, tired, and full of fun. It's clear he's had a blast with all the activities and attention from the staff. The facility is top-notch, and the team there truly cares about the pets. I feel completely confident leaving Starlight in their hands, knowing he'll be safe, well-cared for, and most importantly, enjoying himself to the fullest. I recommend Springdale Pet Ranch to everyone I meet at the dog park and the beach. There's no other place I would consider for my boy Star—it's simply the best!
Doctor Who and I love springdale pet ranch. The staff is wonderful and very kind. I feel comfortable leaving her there for the day or for boarding. Doctor Who enjoys playing in the yards with friends and hanging with the staff. I feel pricing is reasonable.
My pup Pierre has been going to Springdale Pet Ranch for almost 2 years and I highly recommend them! Pierre goes to daycare 5 days a week and has boarded twice at SPR, most recently last week for 5 days/nights. The staff is highly trained and really understand dogs and take such good care of our fur babies. They are really friendly and helpful and truly love the dogs. They take the time to get to know each dog and their personalities, and will discuss any concerns or issues that might arise with your pet. There are different packages available for both boarding and daycare, so you can customize your pet’s experience to meet your needs and budget. SPR has obedience training during which they teach your pet basic commands and manners, which is great especially if you’re a first time pet owner. They have treadmill sessions where your dog is supervised walking on a pet treadmill—great exercise and also good mental stimulation for your dog. They also have bike training sessions where your dog runs alongside a trainer riding a bike. There are enhanced daycare packages where you will get a report card with photos of your pup enjoying his time playing with other dogs in his group and also getting one on one time with trainers. Dogs are put in groups with other dogs of similar size and temperament, and they have supervised play sessions with the trainers. SPR has recently added grooming services so you can schedule a bath or nail trim during your regular daycare session, at a reasonable price. Pierre is always so excited to go play each day, and he’s tired when he gets home. I love SPR and enthusiastically recommend them for both daycare and boarding!
We are huge fans of Springdale. We use them both for boarding and daycare for our fur baby Coco. She's always excited to go and we know she will be well taken care of. When we travel I look forward to getting her report cards because she always looks so happy. All the staff members have been super friendly both in person and over the phone. Thanks for all you do.
I can’t say enough about Springdale - the facility is remarkable - spotless and utterly pristine. Everyone who works there is delightful. They send the best photos every day of Wilson playing with his dog friends (I actually keep a ton of them!) and the cutest selfies with his human friends along with daily report cards, which are personal and detailed and honest about how he is doing. We look forward to them every day while we are traveling! Thank you for keeping our boy safe and happy when we go away. We are SO grateful! - Yvette & Fred
Professional staff. Caring attitudes. Competent and compassionate. Personally, Springdale Pet Ranch, reaches beyond just a business. Their a beacon of hope for any K9 owner who wants the best results -- a disciplined, loyal, and friendly dog. Thanks Jack and Springdale Pet Ranch staff for being 'there' after my wife's recent scheduled surgery in Southern California. Lucy was just three weeks out of the Santa Maria Animal Shelter. Thank you for your professionalism and five star care!
I absolutely love Springdale. Since I travel for work, I’ve had to use different daycare places, but Springdale is my dog’s home. She did a board and train and goes weekly right now. The staff are so incredibly patient and sweet and Jack is really knowledgeable and helpful. My dog sometimes struggles with other dogs and they have ALWAYS accommodated her and tailor her time to make her a better dog. Truly a gem of a business and animal care provider.
Tiago enjoys his time at Springdale pet ranch. Whenever I have to leave him here, I feel at ease knowing he will be well taken care of. I am truly grateful for the friendly and attentive staff!
Springdale pet Ranch is the best place to take your pet, hands-down. My dog loves this place so much, she always has so much fun and when we drop her off, she is so excited to see everyone and go play. I love getting her “report cards” when we go on vacation, they always make it easier for me, seeing how much fun she’s having at Springdale. I also have to mention the fantastic job the groomer does on bathing my dog. She’s always clean and fluffy and perfect when I pick her up. I truly love this place for my pet. Thank you Springdale!
My sister has her pup at this daycare. I got to visit her and this location recently. I love how they play with him and now they have agility training. He has way too much energy and they help get his ya-yas out. They know each dog and are really caring about their welfare. They have different areas for different size dogs and activities. Great place!
Our dogs know when they are going to the kennel. They start barking as soon as we are nearing the area. The barks are happy barks. (We can tell the difference) they cannot wait to get out of the truck wagging their tails running as fast as they can. The place looks clean and enough space for the dogs.
I boarded my cat there while my house was under construction, they have a very nice set up for cat and she was happy and well taken care of.
Last minute needing a place for our Nute. Thank you Happy Tails. First time stay for our Nute. Girls are awesome. Pleasant, giving, caring & loving staff. Thank u for making our Nute feel at home Gene & Teresa & Nute Greeley CO
My puppy Dusty had his second day there and he loves it!
They did a great job taking care of our two dogs. I appreciate that they get playtime every day.
Happy tails was not our first choice but happened to be the available boarding facility for our cats. They are the priciest I found but we were desperate. Our home was having mold remediation done for weeks and I couldn't find a place to accommodate our 3 cats for at least 2 weeks. I can't speak for the cats personal experiences, they survived the stay at happy tails, but they came home with a flea infestation. After over $100 in topical and home treatments on top of our over $800 stay, I'm feeling extremely frustrated. We were so relieved to finally be back in our mold free home with our cats and then had this huge stress punch us right in the face as we returned. I don't anticipate ever having to board our cats again but after happy tails response I would choose elsewhere and also give preventative flea medication ahead of time.
We have been taking our little, very old, deaf, and now going blind dog to Happy Tails for several years. Drop off is easy, as is pick up with early and fairly late hours. They get to know each boarder and cater to their needs. Smaller dogs, like ours, stay in Toy Town. They offer bathing services; nice to come back from vacation to a groomed pet! We will continue to entrust our furry family member to the crew at Happy Tails.
My female 9yr old Beagle Mix is very shy and skeptical. Happy Tails took excellent care of her while I left on a trip for four days. On the day of pickup my all my fears were squashed. My girl was happy. She received a bath and nail trim. The rates were excellent and they served her the dietary food I provided. We are now scheduled for another four day stay and I have every confidence my little girl will be taken care of by the best!!!!! THANK YOU HAPPY TAILS!!!! Us pet parents need places like Happy Tails to keep us at ease while we travel.
They are a very caring and clean. We are comfortable leaving our dog there.
Very good with our dogs , friendly staff
There aren’t enough positive things I can say about Mark. We rescued a stray a few months back who we think spent most of his first year of life on the streets and scared. Because of this, our dog can be very reactive and we wanted to find the right trainer to work with us. Mark was super responsive (replied within minutes of me submitting the initial inquiry) and within the hour we were scheduled to drop our dog off the next day to start his 7 day program. I have never done board in training before, but Mark made more progress in 7 days with our dog than any other trainer has in the few months we’ve had our pup. He provides multiple videos daily of his trainings with your dog, which were really helpful for us because we reference them back if we ever need to as we keep up the training on our end. He spent time with us on our pickup day helping teach us everything we need to continue with the training and even continues to check in with us after we picked our dog up. Working with Mark was the best thing we did. We have a happier and more confident dog and he helped teach us some of the signs we need to be on the lookout for that might be stressful triggers for our pup. It feels great knowing we can take our dog out for walks and other activities and it’s all thanks to Mark and his training program!
My pups (Scooter 2.5 yr old male purebred Shih Tzu & BB 2-3 yr old Chihuahua mix rescued off the street)were just out of my control, running away and refusing to come when called, nipping at people , pulling on the leash and barking incessantly, generally reeking havoc in my life. I had spent a lot of money on trainers, classes and tools to help but nothing really did. Then I found Mark with DognPooch online and called him. He didn't sugar coat anything and got right to the point. I dropped them both off for a week and was just astounded at the videos he sent me daily to show their progress. I enjoyed watching him work his magic and the dogs looked like they were having a good time! It amazes me the difference in our lives now. The go anywhere off leash but stay close and always come when called. The barking stops on command and our lives are changed forever. My only regret is I didn't find him sooner. This trainer and his program are well worth every dollar I spent and I am truly forever grateful. Thanks Mark!! You are simply the BEST!👏💜
Mark, is AMAZING! Our sweet Sofie (1/2 Golden, 1/2 Aussie) is 4 months old and we were struggling to train her and especially had difficulty with her pulling and biting at the leash, jumping, nipping, and overall not listening to basic commands. Mark had her for 1 week and she came back a completely transformed puppy. We went from feeling overwhelmed to literally having the easiest puppy! She is now listening to basic commands, walks amazingly off leash, no jumping and no nipping! I really don’t know how he accomplished that in just one week of training but we couldn’t be happier. Mark, thank you so much. ❤️
I cannot speak highly enough about Mark and DognPooch! We have four young kids and got a puppy last year that quickly turned into a very large, energetic dog. One week with Mark and she walks perfectly on and off leash, has excellent manners inside, and no longer jumps when people walk in the door. The difference after one week is amazing and so impressive! Mark sent videos every day showing us her progress and teaching us the commands and techniques so we could continue them at home. It has made a huge difference in how my kids are able to interact with her and brought so much peace to our home.
Best Investment We Ever Made!! Our Staffy Woody is just under 2yrs old, a rescue, and has always been very difficult to handle. He barks constantly and jumps at people, birds and us! He’s very strong and pulls on the leash when walking. We heard about Mark from a woman at Jack Creek Winery. She had seen Woody’s behavior and said she thought Mark could help us as he had helped with her own dog. Woody spent one week with Mark and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Mark sent videos of Woody’s progress everyday so we knew he was improving but he’s like a different dog. After we picked Woody up today we took him with us to lunch. So many of the other patrons stopped to tell us what a wonderful, well mannered dog we have. It was such as incredible and welcome experience. We would highly recommend Mark to work with anyone’s dog that needs a little, or a lot of, help to become a pleasure to live with. Bob and Donna Lundquist <> –
Okay y’all- I’ll start by saying I NEVER write reviews, but Mark’s exceptional service warrants as many stars as I can give! 5star+. If you’re considering bringing your dog to Mark for training, do not hesitate! We brought our 6 month old puppy Duke to Mark because we were feeling overwhelmed with the training process and Dukes wild ways. Positive reinforcement clicker training only worked when Duke wanted to listen but when he didn’t, we had no way of controlling him. We were worried for his safety, our kids safety, and worried friends and family wouldn’t want to come over b/c of Duke’s rude manners. He would steal our food, growl at us, jump up on everyone, climb all over us on the couch, wander into our neighbors yard and not come to us when being called, pull his leash on walks- basically it was non-stop chaos and exhausting. One week with Mark and Duke has changed in ways I thought were far off dreams. He walks by our side, no leash, and comes when called after we let him roam at the park. He lays quietly on his bed while we eat and work and only leaves when we tell him he can. He sits at the door when we open it until we say “come” (for his safety), his jumping up on people has practically stopped. Honestly, it’s night and day and I can finally breathe again. To get the most of the training, it’s super important to learn from Mark’s ways, listen to his advice, and keep up with the training after the initial week with Mark. I’ve seen first hand how doing so continues to solidify the good behavior. It just keeps getting better. Thank you so very much, Mark, for your expertise and giving Duke such superb attention!! And hugs from your boy Duke. He’s happy to be home but misses you.
We rescued a 4 month old terrier mix and he was so smart! From experience I didn’t want to start teaching him “bad habits” so I reached out to mark and got cooper in right away. The ecollar training blew my mind. It’s like an invisible leash. When cooper came home the stress of him running off was no longer there. I plan to continue working with mark in the future! Thanks for a great start of our relationship with our new family member!
My 3 year-old, Boston terrier named Champ is a great dog. Like all dogs he had some flaws. He would pull hard on the leash while on walks, take off if I left him off leash on my front yard and stand off while walking past dogs. Champ was left behind at home from many family outings because of his behavior. I searched for a local dog trainer and found Mark. Mark worked with him for 1 week and what a difference it has made. Mark sent daily updates of Champ while at the park, on walks or socializing with other dogs. I am happy to share we now enjoy taking Champ on daily (sometimes twice a day) walks, hikes and to the park. We plan on staying consistent with what he’s been trained to do and what we have learned so we can bring him on outings this summer and enjoy more time outdoors. Thanks for your help Mark!
Mark was so awesome with my year old Aussie/Lab mix! He would always lunge on the leash, bark at strangers & other dogs. Just 2 days of Royce being w/ Mark I noticed incredible progress! Royce ended up staying w/ Mark for the 2 week program! I got him back 3 days ago & he’s a changed dog! Mark is amazing!
Our girl Rui is a 3-year-old Shiba Inu. She's sweet and knows every basic obedience command, but she loves chasing any flying object or animal to the point where I could be holding a piece of steak, swamped and drooled over by other dogs, and she would still be at the far end of the park. Previously, she went through a ton of training, but nothing seemed to shape her behavior or decision-making. During our training sessions, she would follow the command, take the treat, spit out the treat, and look at me as if to say, "Can I go play now?" A small dog with a big attitude! The worst part was that she was able to fool trainers into thinking she was ready to go, leaving me feeling as though if the training didn’t stick, it was the owner’s problem. Now it’s been about two months since we got Rui back from Mark. The reviews mentioning "a changed dog" are true. She heels much better and checks in more frequently during our walks. She even asks for permission before going after birds (no animals were harmed). The change in her mentality is reflected in her behavior. We’re really grateful to Mark because now we can walk Rui off-leash, and she gets the freedom she’s always wanted. If you baby your dog or can’t be a disciplined and consistent trainer for them, leave it to the expert. P.S. We found Mark and signed up for board-and-train because we had to be out of town for two weeks. We had no expectations for the "train" part of the deal due to previous experiences, but Mark really delivered. He sent videos multiple times a day, which provided great reassurance that our baby was okay and showed progress. The end result was just unreal.
UPDATE: It has been over a month and the drama continues. The owner initially refused to respond to requests despite them having my house key for a month without my consent. Whenever she responds she accuses me of harassment. She has tried to dodge all responsibility for losing my house key, even claiming I signed an agreement where Posh Pets is not responsible for any keys they lose. I requested the reference (as I have missed paragraphs in the past, it was possible I missed it now). She seemed pretty happy to do so. Honestly, so was I, so I could close this drama out and block all associated contact information. However, when I checked my phone after work, I found I was yet again being accussed of being too emotional and committing harassment...all because I am not, as far as I can tell, acquiescing to her demands. ORIGINAL: Very unprofessional. I'm absolutely floored by this experience. Multiple states and countries using pet sitters and have never experienced this. I should have known but I ignored the red flags. Over an hour late for the first meeting with no notification. Told I would get photos/touch points (my words) every visit. [I was told at the end this is not a guarantee and she didn't know who told me that....]. Had to constantly ask for pics during every trip. This was how I discovered they forgot to feed my cats one day- was never refunded but it drove me to get some auto feeders so they would at least have dry food if forgotten again (silver lining). But then they weren't sure if they missed the day or not. The icing was three days before leaving on a work trip, they can't get in the safe to get my house key and, apparently, it is MY problem to solve. I found this out at 8:30pm. After confronting them with their unprofessionalism, my service was cancelled, and oh...I can't get my only spare key back for a couple weeks (I rent so I can't go making random keys). This is after my upcoming work trip. Great position to put my cats and me in. Appreciate it. I will say they did dig out some litter from some boxes when I first moved to the area, was sent on a one week work trip immediately, and thought one bag would work since I had recently purchased a litter robot. So according to PPS, because I made that mistake, it's okay for their unprofessionalism.
Our Cat “Big” was sorry that we came home after being gone for a month! Judy is loving, organized, & completely reliable. She took great care of Big, our interior & exterior plants, & mail, etc… We highly recommend July to taking care of your home and fur babies while you are away!
Judy stayed overnight with my dog and cat for four days, visiting them twice during each day. My pets were very happy with her. Thank you Judy.
Judy is reliable and my dogs love her. I appreciate how accommodating she is with scheduling, meds, and special needs. I don’t worry about a thing when she cares for my dogs.
Absolute God send. Contracted to cover my dogs for three days and due to an emergency in our family out of town she ended up helping us for months! So easy to work with, very understanding. The boys say hi!
Judy provided excellent loving care for my two outdoor cats. Sometimes they can be tough to wrangle in at night, Judy got them in with no problems. She also brought to my attention our leaky water heater preventing damage, as well as bringing in packages that had been delivered. She could have ignored both but went beyond what was expected. I feel confident in having Judy watch my animals and be in my home.
Judy is great! We had a last minute trip out of town and Judy was so flexible and accommodating to us and our pet’s needs. We felt 100% confident leaving our pets in her care. She is very responsive and dependable. I will definitely be using Judy again soon in the future!
Your fur babies are in great hands with Judy. She's trustworthy, kind, and very knowledgeable about cats and dogs. We've had the pleasure of her services for years and highly recommend her for your pet care needs...our three cats do too!
Judy was professional, attentive, and clearly cares about the animals she sits for. She sent us updates and pictures which was very nice. She was also flexible and willing to provide a combination of check-in and overnight services to accommodate my cats' needs. I would absolutely recommend her services.
Our two kitties are our "kids", so we did extensive research for pet sitting services. We had never left them under someone else's care and we were apprehensive. Judy has the experience and expertise that sets her above other services we considered. We came home to two relaxed, well-cared for cats. Peace of mind is an excellent benefit! We're so thankful for Judy--she's a true animal lover! We look forward to calling her again.
Judy is amazing! She is super caring and attentive to our cats’ needs. We love our pets and trust her whole heartedly with their care. Highly recommended!
We LOVE Critter Happiness! This is the only place I will take our dogs when we need to board them. Krissy and Eric are the best people and take the best care of our fur babies! Boarding area is beautiful and clean and surrounded by beautiful country views. This is like a fun vacation for your doggies! Make sure you choose Critter Happiness for your dogs, they will thank you for it.
If you’re ever worried about leaving your pup, this is the one place you don’t need to be! Upon drop-off arrival, we were greeted by Krissy and Eric who were so kind and welcoming. The space is large, open, and clearly well maintained. Over the course of our vacation, Krissy sent photo updates everyday of our dog – and his tail was up and wagging in every single one! It really gave us peace of mind to know that our pup was in great hands while we were away. The pups get walk and play time, and in addition, they have their own mini pool if they’d like. Krissy and Eric really do take the time to care for your dog which allows you to feel relaxed while you aren’t with them. We can’t thank them enough and will most definitely be returning!
I can’t recommend Critter Happiness enough! Krissy and Eric always take incredible care of my three dogs and treat them like their own! They were incredibly kind and flexible when I had flight issues, unable to pick up my dogs as scheduled and they had to stay another 12 hours, easing my mind after stressful traveling! Krissy sends multiple pictures everyday of them playing and running around. My pups ALWAYS come home so happy and absolutely exhausted from how much fun they have; they sleep for two days straight (it’s a win-win all around). Big thank you to Critter Happiness for the amazing experience every time!
Krissy is amazing! Krissy kept me updated daily on how my pup was doing and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable. They provide plenty of room for your pup and even provide a splash pool if you're comfortable with it. My pup can be a handful for strangers and I'm in amazement on how easily she was able to provide him with a comfortable stay. After struggling for months to find somewhere my pup was comfortable staying we've finally found out our place for when I have to go out of town. You can trust your pup will be safe/happy/healthy in Krissy's hands. I can't say thank you enough!
We cannot say enough about how blessed we are to of discovered Critter Happiness to care for our “boys” when we travel. We have been boarding our 3 dogs (a 12 year old Shih Tzu, 11 year old Chihuahua mix & 3 year old chocolate lab mix) at Critters for varied duration of times for over a year now. Our boys love it , it’s like a vacation for them . We love getting daily photos of each of the dogs every morning . Our lab is in heaven staying in the big dog facility , safe and secure , getting lots of exercise and play time with the “new friends “ he makes with fellow boarders. Our 2 small dogs feel right at home getting to stay in the main house. We appreciate how Krissy and Eric are super accommodating to the needs of each dog . It is such a comfort knowing our boys are being well cared for as well as loved on while we are away .
Our regular kennel didn’t have availability for the weekend we needed so I checked out Critter Happiness on a whim and SO happy I did! They had great communication on what they needed from me as a new customer, clear directions on how to find their facility and what all I would need to bring. Their outdoor area was super clean and well shaded. Lots of space for the dogs to run around, even in their individual kennels. Even throughout my trip they sent me updates and pictures. And their prices are phenomenal compared to other local places. We will be returning customers!!
Our dogs Franc and Milo have boarded with Critter Happiness on several occasions for the past year and we couldn't be happier with the experience! Krissy & Eric are incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure our dogs felt comfortable and at ease. The facility is spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for the dogs to play and exercise. We are particularly impressed with the large, outdoor play area which is not your typical long, dark, narrow boarding kennel. Our dogs have boarded with those other types of facilities and absolutely abhor them! Krissy provided daily updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing that the dogs were having a great time. It was clear that they genuinely care about the dogs and treat them like family. Franc & Milo come home happy, healthy, and tired from all the fun they had. We highly recommend Critter Happiness to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and engaging environment for their furry friends.
We are thrilled to have found Krissy and Eric to take care of our girl. We feel so lucky to have found a place that we are comfortable taking Nora to. Krissy and Eric are incredibly kind and flexible. Sometimes I think Nora has more fun at “camp” than she does at home! Krissy goes above and beyond to make sure each pup is taken care of and I fully trust she and her family with our fur baby.
Krissy and Eric have an amazing facility at Critter Happiness. We had recently adopted a pittie mix and were anxious to board him while we were on vacation. We came across Critter Happiness and had an introductory call with Krissy before deciding to give them a try. When we arrived to drop off our pup, Eric was there to greet us and give us a tour - we were blown away by property. They have created the ultimate summer camp for dogs with immaculate outdoor dog runs, play areas, and a trailer to ensure your dog sleeps safely at night. Krissy was great about sending us photos and updates everyday, which gave us peace of mind that our fur baby was being taken care of. Another big draw for us is that it is a smaller boarding facility, so we knew our dog would not be overwhelmed and receive plenty of attention/interaction. This place is truly a 10/10!
We are very happy with the way that Krissy and her family care for our dog, Riley. He has stayed with them for many stays over the past year and he has always been well cared for and loved during his visits. We get daily updates and a photo or 2 of our boy playing with other dogs or just looking happy and smiling! We have confidence in the care that he receives from Krissy and highly recommend her as a dog sitter!
