Cat Sitting in Azinheiro

We could not have been happier, and Amber our girl even more so. We have nothing but thanks and gratefulness for the wonderful care Emily and Robert took with Amber while we were away. At no stage did we feel anxious or stressed about how Amber was coping at home. First Class. The care for our home was just the same as we take; not one issue, and attention to the little things, not just the obvious things. We received regular daily updates on how Amber was doing, with photos and videos. Emily and Robert come with our unqualified recommendations. Thank you.

Denise was one of the best dog/house Sitter’s we have had. She stayed at our home for 4 weeks. She adored the dogs which was mutual and I really noticed how much they missed her when we got home. She also took great care of our two bunnies. Denise would always be up early taking the dogs for a morning walk before she started her at home on line job and then always made sure they had another lovely walk in the evening. We received daily gorgeous photos and videos and lots of voice mail messages especially if she had any concerns so we could resolve them for her. She also got on really well with all our neighbours who loved her. She went out of her way to borrow our neighbours lawn mower and took great care of our Gardens making sure all our outdoor and indoor plants were watered and the garden looked amazing when we came home as well as the house which was completely clean. She even went to the trouble of washing and changing her own bed so her bedroom was spotless when we came home. We would love for her to come again when we go away next summer. Mary and Rick were very helpful and reliable housesitters. They arrived the evening before our departure in order to get a grip on our house and pets. They surprised us by offering to prepare dinner - which they brought with them, along with some delicious wine! While we were gone they regularly sent pictures and updates of our cat. When we came back, the house was in order and the cat was happy. I recommend Mary and Rick!

Wendy and Fred were absolutely amazing! We started with a video call to learn more about each other and the needs of our dogs. From that very first video call I knew they would be great. We remained in contact right up until they arrived, which put me right at ease. We agreed that it would best if they came the day before we were set to depart as a way to acclimatize the pups to having them in our home. The following day we gave them a tour and they asked all the right questions. The dogs were immediately comfortable with them which again put us at ease. While we were away, Wendy and Fred kept us up to date on how the pups were doing with lots of pictures. Its no surprise they were doing just fine!! More than fine actually, Darcy and Fred Bonded, which was easy to tell from all the pictures. The kittens were well taken care of as well, with Wendy giving them some personal TLC. Heading back home is always a pain, as we live 2.5 hours from the airport but Wendy and Fred assured me that they wouldn't leave the dogs until they knew we were safely on the road. When we arrived home, the place was spotless and the dogs were relaxing on the couch. I cannot give them enough praise. They were absolutely amazing. Loving our dogs as if they were their own. I highly recommend them both. Your pups will be lucky to have them

Wowowowow!! I could NOT recommend Renee and David more highly or enthusiastically. Beautiful humans with huge hearts who left our house immaculate and our dog happy as can be. I just hope they come back soon! Thank you!

Sarah was highly conscientious and looked after our cat excellently over the whole three month period. On our return the house was immaculate, far better than if left to our tender mercies. I recommend her unreservedly. Bob Newbury

Tom and Keith were amazing, I cannot recommend them more. They were very organised, and made sure they had asked any questions they needed to before the sit. We left instructions for our dog, cats and tortoises and they had no problems following them. The house was left super tidy, and all the animals were incredibly relaxed and happy when we returned. The perfect sitters. The real test of how amazing they were was demonstrated in how incredibly understanding and relaxed they were about the water issue we had during their sit. The day before we left for our holiday, we discovered a problem with the water supply to our house. There was just a trickle of water. We had to get plumbers in whilst they were there, and they had to cope with very little water during the sit. We were so worried during this time about it all, and they were so wonderful in coping with it. Thank you Tom and Keith, we welcome you back any time should you wish to return, and I promise this time no water issues!

Tom sat for us (without Mar) for a long weekend, arriving on the morning of our departure, at the planned time. He kept in touch prior to the sit and on the day to confirm his arrival time. It was a beautiful day and as we explored the garden, our cat Gabi joined us. She jumped up on the table and immediately rolled over in front of Tom to introduce herself. As we moved into the house, our other cat Zoe came by to see what was going on. She's usually pretty aloof, but to our delight, she walked directly to Tom to ask for cheek rubs. We were quite astonished as it's not like her at all. So, from the get go, we knew the kitties would be very happy. He must give out very happy Pheromones. =^..^= We established that we were likely to miss each other on our return, but Tom sent a great update on the girls and the house. It has to be said that, our house was immaculate. I could not even tell which of the guest bedrooms he'd chosen to sleep in. Sheets and towels were washed and dried, beds were remade, and towels were folded and replaced. Bathrooms were both as clean as they had been when we left. Given summer had finally arrived (in August!) he happily agreed to water the garden and updated when he had done so. He's lovely, calm, easy going and exudes positive energy. I wouldn't hesitate to have him sit for us in the future. Thanks for everything Tom.

Janie and Peter were fabulous sitters and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Their love of animals is evident, so you really feel that your pets are in very safe hands. Communication was great throughout. Maple loved her extra walks! No fuss when our shower unexpectedly broke just before the sit. Thank you so much to you both.

Stuart and Emma are a lovely couple, warm, friendly and relaxed. They are fantastic pet and house sitters! The communication with Emma and Stuart was great, we had a video call beforehand and I felt straight away at ease with them. They came out the day before to get acquainted with the dogs and us. It was lovely meeting Emma and Stuart, it reassured us that the dogs and our house would be well looked after. They sent us every couple of days updates and photos of Penny and Rosa. When we came home we got a warm welcome, our "girls" were happy and relaxed and the house was tidy and clean. I would ask Emma and Stuart back any time and recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable petsitter! Our dogs will miss them, they had a good time with them. I hope that they will come back and sit again! Thank you so much!
