Our home is where we are
Edwin and Maxim were wonderful housesitters for us and were great companions for our little dog Toby. They spent about a month taking care of our apartment in Lisbon, Portugal and keeping Toby happy and without separation anxiety. Furthermore, they kept our large apartment spotlessly clean, going well beyond what would be expected to clean, polish, dust, and vacuum and maintain the kitchen and bathrooms perfectly. In addition, they made sure the car was started each week to keep the battery charged, collected the mail each day, and watered the plants on our balcony. Both Edwin and Maxim are charming with delightful personalities, and they are a pleasure to work with. In addition to providing excellent care for our dog Toby and the apartment, they kept us informed with near daily reports, photos and videos. We wholeheartedly give them our very highest rating and would be happy to have them back the next time we travel.

This was our very first time using the service and we were absolutely blown away by Dian's approach from start to finish. Being a highly-rated and experienced cat-sitter, Dian reached out to us in less than a day and make the process much easier for us. Recognizing that we were new to the world of cat-sitting, she guided us through everything and even arrived early to help us out. We returned to find two happy cats, a spotlessly clean apartment stocked with fresh groceries and meals ahead of our arrival. Dian even put her own plans on standby to stay longer just in case we got delayed in returning home. She went above and beyond our expectations and we were absolutely delighted to hear that she enjoyed her time cat-sitting for us. Dian is a genuine cat lover. The feeling is mutual -the cats loved her instantly and she dedicated her time to lavishing attention on them. She found inventive ways to get both cats to participate in play even though one of the cats overshadowed his shy brother and wanted all of the attention. It was very reassuring to know the cats were in such good hands and she did everything possible to make them feel relaxed. Dian is very thoughtful and proactive always anticipating future needs. She selflessly shares her experience and expertise when it comes to cats, she observes each cat and knows how to keep them stimulated. Personally we learned so much from her about the best types of toys and games to use to keep each cat entertained and she sent us photos and videos regularly so we could see what our cats were doing in our absence. Clearly we missed the cats more than they missed us and that in itself is a testament to Dian's great way with cats. She prioritized the happiness and well-being of the cats even above her own plans and chose to maximize her time with them. Dian gave us a great recommendation for a lovely hiking route in our area, left us some thoughtful notes about other things the cats would enjoy and even left us a little gift to thank us for trusting her to look after our cats and our home. It goes without saying that Dian is 100% welcome to come back to us and we would wholeheartedly recommend her as the cat-sitter of choice.

Pares is an experienced and quality sitter and we knew our cat Juniper (and a few plants) was well cared for. We received regular updates and photos which was really nice to have during our travels. While we missed Juniper, we could see that she enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from Pares. Upon returning home, our flat was clean and tidy, and Juniper was very happy! strongly recommend Christine and Phil to housesit for your kitty. Our pets, Babbles and Cousin Eddy, and property, were in very good hands while we where away for two weeks. They had a fair amount entailed with two cats on different food and needs. Cousin Eddy, or Edoardo, is a barn cat we recently adopted. Eddy is very sweet and stays outside but hangs out the side door wanting to be petted and fed; Bubbles is an indoor cat. Both cats were spoiled by Christine and Phil! Christine and Phil were also very caring and attentive with the needs of our Airbnb guests. During the time we were away they kept us updated daily (including photos of the cats). When we came home, our house was perfect, with lovely fresh flowers, notes for us, and our cats had been well-cared-for. They are wonderful house sitters, and we highly recommend them. They were Five-star sitters of our house and cats!

My husband and I are so grateful for Cendy staying with our ~1yr old cat for nearly a full month. We were nervous to leave her for so long but Cendy had Wilma literally eating out of the palm of his hand and snuggling with him in no time. Cendy was incredibly communicative with us and attentive to Wilma consistently for the entire duration of the sit which was such a relief and gave us the piece-of-mind needed to fully enjoy our trip. If you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies and your house while you're away, Daniel is your guy! I had discovered zeewoi just a couple of weeks before I was to leave on vacation and I was not only apprehensive if the website was too good to be true, but also under a real time crunch. I reached out to over 100 local sitters and several possibilities fell through. I was confident I would find the right sitter and when Daniel applied for the sit and I started to text and converse with him, I knew I had found the perfect sitter for my two cats! Daniel was upbeat and positive, articulate and personable, warm and caring, and he asked all the right questions about Lilly and Eli (I hadn't had the time to complete my Welcome Guide, yet!?!). I shared that I had an easy cat and problem cat -- Lilly, who is sweet, social and eats dry food, and Eli who is skittish, was periodically pooping outside the kitty litter box and was eating prescription canned food twice a day mixed with a probiotic and stool firmer. I asked if he thought he was up for the job and he happily said he was. Since he flew all the was from Chicago, I thought the least my husband and I could do was pick him up at the airport. When he arrived, he pulled out his notebook. He patiently walked with me as I reviewed kitty care, showed him around the house, and where he would be sleeping. He immediately picked up Lilly who was excited about meeting her new friend and Eli bugged out and down the stairs to the basement (his favorite hiding place!). We got Daniel connected to the internet, set him up at our dining room table and headed off to airport, leaving our house and kitties in the best of hands. Daniel wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and assured while we were away. He made sure to text with me every other day (he had asked my preference earlier), sent photos of Lilly being her cute self while Eli hid during the day although he gave me assurances that he was eating his food and using the litter box (there were a few accidents, but Daniel never complained about these additional duties). When we returned from our vacation, the house was also spotless and well cared for and Daniel had even washed the sheets for me! It is with utter happiness and complete confidence that I recommend Daniel as a fantastic Sitter. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring, and competent, and you can rest assured that both your house and sweet pets will be watched over and treated with TLC -- and will truly be in the best of hands while you are away!

Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. The animals seemed to be happy and relaxed when we returned home and I believe Lindsey enjoyed getting to discover all of the eateries our town has to offer. A win-win for everyone!

Greetings Pet People, I am a bit late leaving my review for Kristine who is local to us and has taken care of our kitties Max and Luis a few times this year. After COVID-19 was announced in March, our travel plans came to an abrupt halt. We had to cancel a lot of trips we had planned but decided that it was safe to go camping a couple of times this summer. We called on Kristine as one of our favorite sitters on this site. We discussed safety protocols and agreed to cleaning that we would do to leave the house safe for her to enter. She shared protocols that she had taken with other homeowners and had sound processes to make us feel safe leaving our cats and our home in her care. She even purchased batteries for our automatic cat feeder when it failed to let one of our confused kitties to eat. Kristine is a smart, humorous and a thoughtful person. Naysa hosted my 2yo dog for 2 weeks and i cannot thank her enough for everything she did! Phoebe had an amazing time and it was the first time I enjoyed my holidays without worrying about her. Our dogs always get so excited for hotdog house. Every time they come back they are so content and tired from all the playing. It is really cute to see The staff are absolutely amazing and really care for all the dogs. Amber especially has been amazing. The team also post a lot of stories on Instagram so we are able to see what they are up to. It has also taught our dogs a lot about how to socialise and play with other dogs.
HotDogHouse has brought our 8.5 year old giant dog joy. He has learned to play with other dogs, loves running, but can also find a quiet corner to chill and rest. HotDogHouse Expert Trainer Amber has helped our new puppy with intro consultation, meet & greet, trial day, trial month & extra classes to learn to meet dogs. All of these steps guided us and made our puppy comfy. During the day, check HDH Instagram for photos and videos of our dogs running, playing, resting and making friends. That’s comforting. Not all dogs like all dogs, but HDH has experience, training and patience to keep all of them safe and find the right matches & groups for the day. I have been sending my dog, Max, to Hotdoghouse's daycare for a couple of weeks now and it's been a life changer. Max is 2 years old, and since he's a working breed mix, he has A LOT of energy. Ever since he started going to daycare, he's much happier and tired. He usually has some fear-based reactivity when walked on leash, but now, he's calm and relaxed 90% of times we go on walks. I also love seeing what he's up to while he's there, which can be easily done by following Hotdoughouse on Instagram. Honestly, it's been a great experience so far. Highly recommend!
Liselotte and her team are absolutely fantastic. They have welcomed my dog since she was 4 months old and she has made SO much progress on her socialisation and separation anxiety. Even walking now in a dog park feels a breeze as she is used to be surrounded by other dogs and she is friendly and not reactive. Also, I see the she has learned at hot dog to approach other dogs with calmness and that after playing for a while is OK to stop and mind her own business. She has also learned to be more resilient to noise, loud sounds and dogs barking. She notices those things but don’t get reactive anymore. She comes back at home very tired and dirty, but it’s a sign that she had so much fun there and mental stimulation. I think it’s an important experience for a dog, especially a puppy. Once a week for us has been very useful as we could go to the office and pick her up on our way back home. Highly recommend!
If you're looking for a place to take your furry friend while you're at work or running errands, I highly recommend this place! We’ve been taking our dog, Kiki, there for a few weeks now, and we have nothing but positive things to say. Our dog absolutely loves it there. She gets to play with other dogs, go for walks, and even chill. By the time we pick her up at the end of the day, she's usually pretty tuckered out - in fact, she sleeps all night! Another thing I really appreciate is how easy it is to keep up with what our dog is up to. The staff posts pictures and updates on social media throughout the day, so you can see exactly what your dog has been up to. It's great to see her having so much fun and getting lots of exercise. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotdoghouse to any dog owner who wants to give their furry friend a fun and safe place to play while they're away. It's been a game-changer for us and our dog, and we are so glad we found this place!
THE best dog hangout in Amsterdam! Hotdoghouse was everything we were looking for...great outdoor space, all day and over night dog care, fun trainers, easy booking system via app, member benefits...and the biggest thing of all- a happy dog who comes home every day calm and fulfiled. We LOVE Hotdoghouse, and so now we are bringing our lovely doggo there at least 3 days a week. Perfect for when you are working in the office, and want peace of mind for your doggy. Prices are reasonable, one day dogcare for members is nearly the same as a single dog walk for most walkers. So...its easy to see why now this is our favourite choice. Thanks Hotdoghouse for helping solve all our dog needs! We just say the word 'hotdoghouse' and our doggy is already hopping out of the door!

good place for dogs, friendly staff, there is a service for finding a pet sitter, but it still doesn't work very well. I was bitten on the hand by a strange dog, scratched my hand until it bled, when I came to pick up my dog, the staff, nor the dog's owner did anything about it.
