Where to start with the gratitude I have for Rob and Sue and the efforts they made for Jokes the cat. We had only been gone 4 days when they had to report to me that our cat had been missing for 24 hours. The work they did with neighbors and posters and missing animal websites was above and beyond the call of duty. Being so far away and feeling virtually useless to help find your animal was heartbreaking. But Rob and Sue made me feel like everything possible was being covered and they were doing everything I would have done. Amazingly Jokes showed up sitting on the deck 9 days later! It was wonderful for me but the work for Rob and Sue was not over. Jokes was very skittish and would not come in the house. They went to the effort of getting a cat trap and eventually Jokes was back in the house safe and sound. These are the people you want at your house in case something goes wrong and nobody knows when that might happen. As if they hadn't done enough by this point they also took incredible care of our home and everything was washed and spotless for our return. All of this was happening at the beginning of the Covid 19 crisis in Canada so we had to return home sooner than expected and right into isolation. They even offered to do some food shopping for us. Does it ever end with these two. I don't think so they would do what ever it took for your home and your pets so you feel safe and secure while you are away. Who doesn't want to enjoy a holiday knowing everything is the best it can be at home. Thanks again Rob and Sue for everything. Kathleen and Mike

Babu and Celine were absolutely fantastic! Our dog was well loved and cared for, the house was spotless when we came home and the communication back and forth was excellent. I highly recommend them for pet sitting and will invite them back again!

This is the second time Zora has come to look after our home and our dog, Lilo. As in our previous review, Zora was extremely conscientious regarding every aspect of this sit. She took exceptional care of Lilo even taking her on adventures in nearby Kananaskis country. (Lilo was living life large with Zora!!) Zora communicated regularly with us and was always quick to respond. Our home was spotless when we returned! She ensured everything was clean and neat with all towels and bedding washed. (Grateful for her efforts!) As well, Zora mowed the lawn and weeded the garden. This was no small feat as our mower is challenging to start and, because of this, we had asked her not to worry about yard care. She was determined to complete this task and made sure she did a great job with the yard as well! We cannot recommend Zora enough as loves pets and showered our dog with lots of love and attention. Her commitment to taking care of the home and yard was evident. If you are lucky enough to have Zora apply for your sit, you will not be disappointed. She is a gem and we hope to use her for other sits in the future.

Pets - A Part of My Family
If it was possible to leave 10 stars I would! Linda and Kevin were absolutely amazing! They were so organized, lovely and clean. They left our house in perfect condition and even had dinner and milk in the fridge waiting for us after our 10 hour flight home! Our dog was very happy and they sent updates every few days with pictures which my kids loved seeing. Kevin is so handy and offered to fix our gate on the fence and our sink which he definitely took him up on! Kevin took care of the lawn and Linda watered all our flowers. Our house and dog were in perfect condition after our big trip away. I could not recommended Kevin and Linda more! They were spectacular!

Her cat care for more than a month was superb and we received our two cats in an happier condition than we left. Avid outdoor enthusiast to care for your home and pets
Rob is a real nice guy, was very easy to communicate with and did a great job looking after our cat. The house cleanliness was not as we would have hoped, as our dishwasher was filled with food, dishes were put back in the cupboard dirty and many handles were sticky. However, I would still recommend Rob as long as your expected cleaning is communicated clearly.

Seàn was an amazing pet and house sitter! He was super communicative and took amazing care of my dog Nala and cat Bruce. They were happy and loved while I was away- I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for the two little fur babies! He sent great pictures and checked in every day so I had nothing to worry about. On top of all that, he also kept my place immaculately clean and left my place in wonderful shape. We can’t wait to have him back to sit and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for a sitter!

Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!

Kristi was an absolutely incredible sitter -- I think our favorite one ever! She was easy to communicate with, kind and personable, and took great care of our pets and our house. It was the first time we had left both our dog and our cat with a TH sitter and Kristi went above and beyond. She was very self-sufficient but provided fun updates and pictures and our pets loved her. Highly recommend!

The best cat sitters ever! They loved our cats and spent so much time playing with them and making sure they were happy! We had photos and videos every day with funny little messages and we came home to two very happy, healthy cats. The house was spotless and they even washed the linen and towels! They left us some cute Easter presents and breakfast shopping in the fridge, as we were returning after a long flight. We would definitely recommend Michael and Jeanne to anyone and hope they will come back to Teignmouth in the near future. Thanks very much for looking after our beautiful cats and our home x

We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. We highly recommend Daniel, and we ourselves would be thrilled to engage him again when the need arises.

Becca was fantastic - we cannot say enough about how great she is as a pet and house sitter and as a human being! Becca committed to the sit 8 months in advance and was great with her responsiveness in communication during the long lead up to the sit. She arrived early and got the low downs on the animals and house stuff prior to us leaving. She woke up crazy early to help us get to the airport and picked us up when we returned, which made the traveling so much easier on our end. She left the house spot-less (and this is no exaggeration), with the linens cleaned, and a wonderful meal waiting for us upon our return. She is an absolute gem of a person with a great sense of humor and a kind and compassionate nature, and she really enjoys the animals in her care. Our dog and cat were very well cared for and totally at ease upon our return. If you are lucky enough to have Becca sit for you, you will be very pleased at how well she does the job!

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!

Catherine was a wonderful sitter for our 17 year old cat Zabba. She sent us pictures twice a day and kept us informed about Zabba’s daily activities. We came home to a clean home and would definitely recommend her as a pet/ house sitter. My only concern was that she doesn’t drive and with an older cat, I just prayed that Zabba didn’t need to go to the vet…. And he didn’t 🥰. We will ask her again for sure.
