Responsible, non-smoking online educator ready to make some new furriends!
Joyce came across as thoughtful and organized when we "met" on a video chat, and I knew right away she would be a reliable pet and house sitter. Everything worked out great... our animals (cat and chickens) were well taken care of, and our house was exactly as we left it.

Full Time Cat Lovers
Hodan and Sami continue to be great guests in our home and caretakers of our cats! We’ve had them stay before and they continue to be a pleasure. Our cats were well taken care of and Sami does a fantastic job at keeping us updated. He even checked in to make sure that the food machines were full and double checked to make sure that the right food was used to refill them. They were also flexible with our schedule as our flight was cancelled and we had to arrive the next day. To make sure our cats were well taken care of, they stayed longer to keep the cats company. We’d recommend Hodan and Sami to anyone who wants to ensure a great stay!

Melissa was an excellent pet and house sitter! We came back to our home, just as we left it. And our dog, Ema, was so happy and content. Melissa was great with communication and made everything easy.

Kim was an incredible cat sitter! She was very friendly, organized, asked great questions before the sit, and took amazing care of our anxious cat Oscar. Oscar is a picky eater and we get nervous leaving him, but we could tell he was in good hands. Kim seemed genuinely excited to hang out Oscar. She sent us detailed, relevant updates on Oscar and our home. She also sent videos of Oscar. Our place was also very clean when we got back. I highly recommend Kim and we would happily have her sit again.

What fun is a life of adventure if you don't find new friends along the way?
Justine’s great. Kept me updated with photos of my very strange cat. She’s not very sociable but Justine knew how to deal with her, basically feed her then let her do her own thing! I would gladly employ Justine as my cleaner😂 Our house was cleaner than when I left it.

Global sitter who quit job, sold house, & gave away my stuff to travel the world
Suzanne is the most organized sitter we have encountered through zeewoi. She actually had a list of 30 well thought out questions for us during our first FaceTime call. She excelled at remaining in communication with us both before and during our sit. Meeting her was like meeting a ray of sunshine. She immediately set out to bond with JD and Leilani from the first moment she met them. Her daily videos were greatly appreciated. It was clear to us that our fur babies were in great hands. When the second leg of our return trip was delayed due to weather which caused the airline to rebook our last leg until the next morning she graciously altered her own plans to accommodate the change in our original plans. She dropped us off at the airport and picked us up upon our return. Suzanne takes pride in her pet sitting and is truly a gem. Your pets will be well cared for. We highly recommend Suzanne.

I cannot say enough good things about Simiao! She was great with communication and sent pictures daily. I never had to worry that Seamus and deegan weren't being looked after. My house was very tidy when I returned. She went above and beyond during this sit. I would welcome her back at anytime!

Pup Lover Ready to love your home too!
Naomi took really good care of Beck!
This was our first time using zeewoi and we were a little apprehensive, especially as we were going away for almost 5 weeks, but we really didn’t need to be. Mary and Kevin were fantastic from the start. They had excellent communication and put us at ease straight away. They looked after both our cats with lots of care and we came home to two very happy and content kitties. Mary and Kevin struck the balance just right whilst we were away by keeping us informed of how the cats were and sending pictures of what the cats were up to every couple of days. It was so lovely to know that the cats were enjoying themselves and being so well looked after whilst we were away. Mary and Kevin also looked after our house extremely well and we came back to a very clean and tidy home. We would definitely recommend Mary and Kevin to anyone needing a house sitter and would love for them to sit for us again if they were ever back in the area.
Florence and Robert were outstanding sitters. We asked them to arrive a day early as our guests to learn the routine on our farm. In getting to know them we found them to be good hearted, down to earth people with a love of animals and diligent in learning our routines to care for our poultry, cats and dog as well as our garden and orchard. Not a typical or easy sit. We travelled with ease knowing our critters were being well taken care of. Arriving home, the house was very clean and looked well cared for. The animals were healthy as were the garden and orchard. Out pets missed them when they left – our dog stared down the driveway after them until their car was out of sight. It is nice to find sitters we would like to hang out with and we look forward to having them sit for us again.
I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.
I'm delighted to have found Lisa as a sitter and hope to have her back again! She was detail oriented and clearly cared about my cats' well being. She asked good questions about the cats' routines and needs and about the house to be sure she'd meet my expectations and have a comfortable and successful sit. She communicated very well before and throughout the sit and even though I was unreachable for much of the time I was confident everyone was in good hands. Lisa left the house in immaculate condition and the cats were relaxed and happy when I got home. What a delight!
Catherine was a wonderful sitter for our 17 year old cat Zabba. She sent us pictures twice a day and kept us informed about Zabba’s daily activities. We came home to a clean home and would definitely recommend her as a pet/ house sitter. My only concern was that she doesn’t drive and with an older cat, I just prayed that Zabba didn’t need to go to the vet…. And he didn’t 🥰. We will ask her again for sure.
Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!
Ann Marie was an excellent house sitter who went above and beyond. She flew in a day early and stayed at a local hotel so we she could meet my cat and get the keys before my early flight the next morning. When I returned, she and Tryke were best friends and the house was immaculate. She even washed the sheets and towels, and remade the bed. I strongly recommend Ann Marie for any future sits!
My husband and I reached out to Toby & Chloe after reading their profile and impressive reviews only a week before our trip, since our scheduled sitter had to cancel at the last moment. They were very friendly and quick to respond to chat from the very beginning, and ended up exceeding our expectations during their two week stay. It was evident they had thoroughly read our Welcome Guide beforehand, as they arrived knowledgeable and prepared to care for our home and pets. They were very willing and happy to take the necessary time with us to walk through the house and meet our cats, as we got them acclimated with our daily routines and answered any questions. Shortly after we left, our city had a heat wave come through, and after immediately notifying us, Toby went beyond the call of duty and inspected our struggling AC unit to pinpoint the issue. As far as cat care is concerned, we have two seniors (who have more sensitive tummies) that can get irritated after a fur ball or swallowing anything out of the ordinary. When this occurred, Toby & Chloe stepped in and took wonderful care of our cat duo; softening their food and even cradling while hand-feeding them for extra comfort. We truly could not have asked for more affectionate and responsible sitters. We returned to a spotlessly clean home, happy cats, and well maintained plants and pool. (They even cleaned our dusty Kitchen pendant lighting, which requires a steady hand and is definitely a time-commitment …We felt like professional housecleaners had been there!) On our way back, Toby & Chloe stayed in communication with us to monitor our arrival time, allowing them to care for our cats until just before we got home. Overall, they are very reliable and trustworthy sitters whose genuine goal is to provide a top-quality sit, while maintaining your household and seamlessly transitioning to your pets daily schedule.
Steven was a great sitter for our black lab Souris and cat Pinot. They were well looked after and really liked Steven. Our house was in good order when we got back and Steven was kind enough to give us a lift to and from the airport. He was very flexible, arriving day early so we could show him around.
I whole-heartedly recommend Carly and her partner Fanny to sit for you! They were fabulous and reliable house sitters from start to finish. Carly was timely and thoughtful in all of her communications and let us know the state of affairs in our apartment with our cat and plant babies while we were away. They followed our directions to a 'T.' We came home to find a happy cat, thriving plants, a spotless apartment and laundered linens. We would definitely consider contacting them again to house sit for us!

Taylor is the best dog trainer ever. She showed extreme love, care, patience and kindness to our timid 1 year old pup, Hank. Hank’s confidence has grown and is no longer afraid of the leash or going on walks. He listens to our commands and is a new puppy. We are thankful for the training Hank received from Taylor and the staff at Stay & Obey.
I can’t recommend Taylor enough as a dog trainer! From our very first session, it was clear that she has a deep understanding of canine behavior and a genuine passion for helping dogs and their owners succeed. Taylor has been instrumental in addressing my dog’s basic obedience skills, teaching commands in a way that is both effective and enjoyable for my pup. She tailors her training methods to fit individual needs, ensuring that each session is engaging and productive. One of the most significant challenges we faced was my dog’s fear of people. Taylor approached this issue with patience and empathy, using positive reinforcement techniques that made a world of difference. Additionally, Taylor’s expertise in introducing dogs to cats has been invaluable. She provided step-by-step guidance and support, making the introduction process smooth and safe for everyone involved. Though this will be an on going process, she has set us up for success as we continue towards a harmonious household. She far surpassed my expectations by not only getting a cat to be in training sessions at stay and obey- she also came to our house to be here for the first introduction - easing my nerves! What truly sets Taylor apart is her commitment to her clients. She goes above and beyond to ensure that we not only achieve our training goals but also maintain them long-term. Her ongoing support and willingness to answer questions have been incredibly reassuring. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly cares about both dogs and their owners, Taylor is the one to choose. Her dedication, expertise, and compassionate approach make her an outstanding choice for anyone seeking training assistance
I took my dog to Taylor for training at Stay and Obey. I am so happy with the results! Jack first went for day training at 5 months old and learned basic commands, the most helpful is following his “place command”. At 11 months, Jack went back for recall training. I cannot be happier with how well he is doing. It was a joy to have him off lease at a family members home (a yard he is not familiar with), and to allow him to run yet return immediately when called. A huge thank you to Taylor, and the stay and obey team where Jack loves to go to play!
Let’s just say I have given them more then once chance. We all love our fur babies so much. Most of the employees are great. This is the 2nd my dog has had something happen to him while in their care. Last Thursday he came home with mostly dried blood all on his right side hip. I literally live 2 minutes from S&B. After calling and stating my concerns, the office manger says she would look into the situation. I cancelled all grooming appointments and I knew at that moment they wouldn’t do a darn thing. Received phone call this past Tuesday, stating they reviewed the tapes and didn’t see anything happening. Just typical dog stuff. 🙄. We had to shave him in order to make sure the wound didn’t get infected. What’s extremely sad is that I honestly do believe that things like this will happen. But to deny it on their end is insane. Also, your FB page is sad. You only post pictures of dogs and the owners have to pay for it. Any special treat given, owner pays for that too. Definitely will never recommend S&B to anyone.
I had a particularly bad experience where my dog was bitten; The manager is lying and overreacted when explaining the scenario to me. I took photos of the dog's muzzle, and I can contradict her and accuse her of being a liar and negligent. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE and therefore, I never plan to leave my dog for care. The STAY & OBEY report contradicts the veterinarian who subsequently saw the dog. The state of the dog: lazy, sad, tired. He doesn't look like usual. Time will tell and therefore if someone in the future has the same thing happen to them, then they can count on me for a Class Action lawsuit.
What a great idea Day Care for dogs is! Bandit can't wait to join the fun. The Stay and Obey staff take excellent care of our pets, provide safe environment, fun activities, and a bonus of nice human affection. He doesn't just have fun though; he also gains important socialization that helps him stay friendly and open to new experiences. After just a half day of play, Bandit is sound asleep in the car before we get to the end of the block. Five stars!
Absolutely the best doggy day care in the state. Clean, personable staff take excellent care of your pet. Highly recommend!
I love their training program and their day care. My Luna loves it too.
Loving the clean and spacious new facility. Our Company loves coming to daycare, and we hope her new baby brother loves it just as much. It has gotten pricier for us now though with two dogs, especially when we need to board them both. Wish they offered additional dog discounts as well as daycare by the hour for those ugly days when the pups just need a few hours to run around.
I love the fact that when I pick up my pup up from daycare she's exhausted and has had an awesome day running wild and free with all the other dogs there. There's no crates to stay in and all the dogs in the big room are having a blast with their tongues hanging out going wild. I love stay and obey and so does my pup!!! And I boarded her for one night and had absolutely no complaints. Everything was great.
Sesshin Grooming and Spa is the best place I have ever taken my dog to be groomed. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Nikki!!! Our sweet Coconut always comes home looking and smelling beautiful! Days later and I am still marveling at how soft his coat is. Nikki always makes our Coconut feel so loved and safe and I trust completely leaving him knowing he is in gentle hands. He is always such a happy boy when we pick him up. Nikki works with my schedule and is so flexible with times/days, always getting us in. She is affordable, super loving and caring with our baby, and does a phenomenal job! I highly recommend Sesshin Grooming and Spa!!
Nikki has been an absolute joy to work with. I have a 2.5 year old, long haired husky who is quite timid and not at all fond of having his hind quarters touched. Nikki always calms him down and reassures him, while providing a beautiful groom. People have literally stopped their vehicles to ask me where he gets groomed because he looks amazing. Nikki is accommodating, professional, and fabulous to work with. I can't imagine taking my dog anywhere else. She is the best.
Nikki is AMAZING! We have had many groomers while being pup parents and none can hold a candle to Nikki. She truly cares about the comfort and safety of our babies like they are her own. Her training as a Vet Tech adds another layer of comfort for us knowing she is a certified health professional as well. We have a 17+ year old super senior and a 7 year old anxiety girl, and Nikki has worked closely with us and them to be sure they are happy, safe and beautiful 😍.
Nikki does an amazing job at Sesshin grooming and spa. She grooms of my golden retriever and my dad’s Australian Shepard. She does a great all around job!
I truly could not recommend this groomer highly enough! Nikki is so wonderful, and I always feel that my fur babies are safe when I drop them off with her which is my top priority. They always look great when she’s done with them, too! Her flexible hours and scheduling is also a plus. Thank you!!
I chose Nikki to be the groomer of my doodle when she was a puppy and now she is going on 3. Nikki not only does an awesome job at grooming but she is also a very professional, smart, talented, reliable, and trustworthy person! I can’t say enough good words about the work she does! Thank you for loving my crazy Charlie and making her such a beautiful girl!! You are the best!
Nikki is the absolute best!!! I have used her pet grooming services for many years and am always happy. I never worry about my dog while in her care and she takes her time and loves on my babies just like i do. That is absolutely priceless!! Thank you Nikki for being so good to my sweet Milo and me!!!
Nikki is truly a dog whisperer! She trims my dogs nails and truly loves what she does. She is patient with my doxie, who hates having her nails trimmed. Nikki also house/dog sits when we go away. The doggies are well taken care of! Bernie, pictured on the couch with her food, has weird eating habits and Nikki rolls with it! I highly recommend this groomer!
All three of my rescued girls visit Nikki every 5-6 weeks for a bath, haircut and nail trim. Nikki is patient, kind and loving!! I’m beyond grateful that I found her - all three of my girls are very skittish and wiggly during their appts but Nikki does an AMAZING job!! Thank you Nikki!!
Nikki has been grooming our dogs for several years and she always does an excellent job. Her attention to detail is unmatched and it’s a complete bonus that our dogs get extra love from her when they’re in her care. Nikki will always be our first choice for grooming.
The review by Marc Gizar (Pruitt) is laughable. All one has to do is look at all of the bad reviews he gives 95% of businesses. It's like reading distasteful comedy. He could be a phantom reviewer. Sad that he had to leave a review here for a grade A kennel service. There's one in every crowd as they say.
Paws and Claws gets the ultimate dog approval rating, he got excited every time we turned into the long driveway! The owners love animals and deeply care about them. Add in their great prices and I can't complain.
I have never boarded one of my dogs before but needed to while my husband and I went away for a few days. I was very very nervous and worried because I thought no one would care for our sweet girl like we do but I was wrong!! Steve and Becky did such a wonderful job with our Lola!! They really treated her like one of their own. They were so friendly and welcoming and after we dropped her off I felt so much at ease! They also were very nice when I would call to check on her. Our Lola definitely has a home away from home now!! Thank you so much Paws N Claws!! I would definitely recommend Paws N Claws to anyone who needs a clean, safe and friendly place for their fur baby!!!
My dog's vet had to close his practice so we had to find a new place to have her boarded. I looked for a place on line and was a little anxious, because she's a bit skittish. She doesn't warm up to people very easily and doesn't get along with other dogs at all. She likes to be the one who initiates contact, so I had a lot to be anxious about. The folks at Paws and Claws took very good care of our little girl, all 91 pounds of her. They have a great set up and procedure that eased my mind before we even left. Another bonus is that, even though they were closed when we got back we were able to get her. I was also impressed with the fact that each dog had their own porch they could go out on any time they wanted to without human help. I think we've found her a great home away from home. Thank you Paws and Claws Kennels
We recently had our dog stay for several nights. Steve and Becky were wonderfully friendly and caring. Our dog had a good experience and when we picked her she was at "peace" and not all frantic like we've experienced with her at other kennels when we go to pick her up. The kennel appeared clean and well maintained and is on a nice tract of land. Fair prices and very customer friendly hours!
These people are so amazing!!!! And their kennel is beautiful! They have what looks like a little street with street lights (lamp post) as the walk way inside the building. They have their own doors to go out into a nice size dog park as the play area outside. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a break from their pets or are going on a trip.
My dogs had a lovely time here. I would take them here whenever I go away. The rates are reasonable and fair. They love my dogs as much as I do. They had to give them medicine and gave me tips on easier ways of giving it. My dogs are happy to go there and happy to come home sometimes. They would rather stay sometimes. Ha Ha
They do a great job clipping my dog's claws. He normally hates having them done, but no problem at Paws N Claws.
Overall I have been leaving our two collies, Pip and Calliope with Steve and Becky for about 8 years. We travel a lot and it is with full peace of mind that we leave our dogs with them. They give them whatever meds they are on and take them to the vet when we are away and they need medical attention, a check up or shots. No request is ever too much, nor is there any extra charge. I can't imagine a better situation for a dog. The kennels are spacious and the dogs have access to a nice run all day and are let out into a larger grassed area as well. It is 100% clear that Steve and Becky see their charges as family pets. On occasion, I have found our elder (14 years) in the house if she has been left alone (without her younger housemate). These people really care and are quite knowledgeable about canine needs. Calliope would not be with us any more if it weren't for Steve's observations and recommendation that we take her to his vet, rather than our vet in Chicago.
My Winston loves it there! He had just been to the vet for a tare in his front pad. (Cut it on something out running around on my farm.) They took awesome care of him and he wasn't limping on it when we got him back. He took his meds for them every day and even got his bath. They are amazing to work with! Winston has been there twice this summer and I have had no complaints! We will most likely be back again!
