Esther and Udi are the best!!! I recently adopted Lily and was nervous about how she would react to going to doggy day care after being returned twice to a shelter :( I work a lot and I feel at ease knowing that Lily is well taken care of and that she is spending the time that I’m at work with all of her friends. Lily is always happy to see them during drop off! Esther is great at communicating and she always sends me pics of my crazy girl. Pet getaway is the best!! They have also taken care of Lily when I’ve been out of town and knowing she’s in good hands is the best feeling. So thankful to have them in my area.

What a true gift Esther and Udi are! I had to leave my 2 dogs, Max and Clyde, at their first ever boarding experience for one week and The Pet Getaway made it such a smooth experience. Their care and gentleness with my little ones was immediately apparent. I loved how communicative they were and how naturally they connected with Max and Clyde. I am truly looking forward to relying on them future. It’s so hard to find such attentive pet care and I am grateful I found them!

I cannot sing their praises enough- I am beyond thrilled with the care and attention (and love!) our dog Marty revived during his week-long stay. From the timely updates via text messages to the most adorable pics sent on a daily basis that assured me that Marty wasn’t merely being boarded, but rather, ADORED, truly put me at ease while I was out of town. Lastly- he made some furry new friends as well! All my pet mama guilt for boarding my dog vanished away; if anything, I knew I had given Marty a wonderful week of being cared for at the highest level. 🐶❤️

Esther and Udi, are so amazing with our dog Dougie. He’s always so happy to see them and comes home so happy and exhausted when he’s there. They’re so attentive and always send hilarious videos and pictures of Dougie. He has stayed for the afternoon and/or evening and also for several days when we’ve gone out of town. It’s so great that I just know he’s in wonderful hands when he’s there, which makes being on vacation so much more relaxing.

The Pet Getaway is genuinely amazing. We moved to the neighborhood in need of doggy daycare and the occasional cat visits, and we are so grateful for having found them. They truly are the best. My dog loves them and comes home happy every time she gets back from daycare. I couldn’t ask for a better place to trust with my fur babies. Highly recommended!

We've had our dog for 10 years and this is our favorite place we've ever used for boarding! They are very responsive and easy to communicate with. More importantly, they take extremely good care of our dog and really care about his overall well-being. It's so nice to have some peace of mind when we're away because we know he is in the best hands. Our dog gets excited whenever he gets to stay here since he has such a good time. Highly recommend!

Vito LOVES going to day care and as a puppy I think it’s been really good for his social development. Having hired random people off rover.com I can say that Esther and Ari are the only people I’ve actually felt 100% ok leaving Vito with. They send great update photos throughout the day and Vito always rushes to greet them when I drop him off so I know he loves it.

The Pet Getaway is the best place to leave your dog in Brooklyn. They take phenomenal care of your dog, and are a much better option than a big kennel. Your dog receives genuine care- is not in a cage, and receives frequent walks and playtime. I couldn’t be happier with their service and would recommend them to anyone looking for the best care for their dog while away. They even send you regular photo updates while you’re away which always puts you at ease. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for them as a frequent traveler. I feel like my dog Ollie is getting a vacation of his own.

About a year ago, our old dog sitter cancelled last minute and Esther came to the rescue! On first meeting, Scout was immediately comfortable (maybe too comfortable lol). Since then, we trust Esther every time we need someone to watch him. She treats Scout like her own and he is so happy to see her every time we drop him off! Would recommend to anyone.

I was very nervous leaving my fur babies Bill and Snowflake to a stranger. My best friend’s son went off to College and I had no back-up for the kitties. I asked on FB if there were any pet sitters in the neighborhood and received several responses. Christina and I met and I immediately liked her. She sends updates and photos of the kitties (which is not easy, since mine are very skittish). It says a lot about her character that my cats made an appearance while she was there. I'm so happy I found My Best Buddies (on my neighbor's recommendation)! I originally hired them to come walk my anxious little guy when I was in the office, but when he was too scared to handle that Theresa recommended daycare instead, and she was totally right. He went from being fearful of being handed over to her to wagging his tail and trying to climb into her arms after just two visits, and he's still so excited every time he realizes where he's going. I've started sending him on some days I don't go into the office because he always comes back so happy and confident (and tired out!). They're so accommodating of my schedule and kind to my dog. The whole experience has been fantastic.

My family went away on vacation and had an emergency medical situation with our dog sitter. Theresa graciously took our dog on complete short notice. I cannot express how grateful we are to her for giving us peace of mind and helping us in an impossible situation. Theresa is an exceptional caretaker of animals, as our dog was happy and well-fed. My Best Buddies has been so amazing for me and my dog! At first, they would come walk her when I was at work. But they recommended that she go for daycare instead and they were right -- my dog has been so much happier staying with them during the day! She looks forward to going to daycare and absolutely loves all of the people who work there. When I take her for walks, she likes to walk to MBB to say hi to her friends.

My best buddies has been a lifesaver. They love ur pet like their own and care for them so well… it’s like a Big party for ur fur baby!. My dog has a blast when she goes ! Plenty of space to run and play and lots of toys and big bed to jump in! They feed them incredibly well!!! I am so happy I found this place! Theresa is very accommodating to schedules and is able to take last minute drop offs. I have a 4 month old shiba inu puppy that is very shy at first and I have noticed he is a little more social and confident ever since I have started dropping him off at MBB. Daycare has been great for his socialization!

My dog Aspen gets his grooming done there. They are quick, affordable, and have great service. Sometimes the cuts are a tiny bit uneven, but that's 100% because they are being respectful of my dog's boundaries, which is the priority for me.

My dog Lulu has attended Best Buddies for almost two years. Lulu absolutely loves it there!!! Lulu easily adapted to the friendly atmosphere when she first got there, made Cosmo and Coco her best friends and has even made feline friends! Theresa has always been friendly, professional, and courteous, from day 1. I appreciate how caring and nurturing Theresa is with all of the animals. She knows their personalities, is helpful when we needed boarding at the most awkward times, and it gives Best Buddies that personal touch you may not get at other much larger daycares. She also understands dogs well by responding to their needs and what keeps them calm at a time where animals may be missing their owners. I’ve never experienced a time where I felt my dog was unhappy or at risk which is more than I can say for some other daycares. Definitely 5+++ stars for me!!

Extremely rude! Called this morning to book a self-wash for my dog, as offered on their website. The lady who answered the phone didn't know what a self-wash was, then she stated that they wouldn't be starting that until next week. When I reminded her that it was offered on their website she hung up on me. So, I called back, same lady answered, and again I asked about the self-wash services advertised on their website. She then stated, rudely, "we don't do that anymore". To which I responded "Then maybe you should update your website" and then I hung up on her. I'm headed to Bark Slope. It's a bit further, but I'm happy to travel for a great experience and customer service.

My Best Buddies has been nothing short then phenomenal with my dog. Not only are they reliable, they take all the necessary measures during COVID-19. I could not have asked for better care. I have two dogs with health issues and they took amazing care of both of them. Meds were administered at all the necessary times, and they sent me pictures of them and kept me up to date the entire time I was away. I would go back in a heartbeat. These women are fantastic and I felt like I was leaving my little pups with family.

A good company, they speak three languages: English, Russian and Spanish. They looked after my cat for 10 days, she was very pleased, there was constant monitoring, very attentive and caring guys, very loving animals. Highly recommend.

They left a mess in my home. Muddy footprints were everywhere, and they didn't bother to wipe my dog's paws before bringing him back inside. It's clear they have no respect for their clients' homes or their pets' well-being

Elvin at Buddies and Paws is THE best. He dog sat for our dog Fred while we were out of town for a week and sometimes does walks for us as well. He is the most communicative and thoughtful sitter! Our dog just loves him and he sent many updates and photos every day while we were away and also walked our very social pup with another dog so they got some play time in. Elvin and his brother run the company and a close friend in the neighborhood has hired his brother too and also said he was fantastic with her dog. Elvin stays in your home during a dog sitting which is great because your pet gets to stay in their familiar surroundings. Elvin was so respectful of our space and left the place clean and tidy. Their prices are reasonable and they are very communicative and so sweet with the dogs.

I’d rate six stars if I could!! You’ll never find a better dog walker. Seriously. My partner and I went through so many Wag walkers before we found Elvin at Buddies and Paws. He immediately showed our dog love and care, and our dog loved him back. The walks became his favorite part of the days. 🐕 When we got another puppy (who was two months old and tough to walk at first), Elvin was so welcoming and patient—he helped our new puppy learn the ropes. He’s also been an incredible, super reliable pet sitter when we go out of town. We’ve also worked with other walkers through Buddies and Paws, and they’re all incredible—Elvin knows how to find great people who will love your dogs as much as you do. Nellie’s treated so well on her walks with Parker. They go above and beyond to make my puppy feel loved and cared for. They don’t just walk my little girl, but also plays with, cleans after and refills food/water. The system for scheduling is very straightforward.

Our dogs, Sally and Silvio, are our everything. When it came to dog sitting we typically would only feel comfortable having family watch them, sometimes even flying family in but that isn’t always possible. So when we were looking for a dog sitting service it had to be someone we felt really comfortable with. We cannot recommend Park Slope Pups enough. They take care of our dogs as if they were their own.

Where do I begin with Prospect Bark and how incredibly amazing they are. Staff: the owner of Prospect Bark and her team are beyond the best. They love all of the dogs as if they were their own. They provide individual time, attention and love to every dog. They are so attentive from managing diets and allergies and any medicine to play time, etc. they send us videos and photos all day that are just the best. Environment: I would like to stay for a day at Prospect Bark it is so calming and relaxing. They have high ceilings, calming music, clean - very clear they are constantly cleaning because it smells lovely - and they have beds and toys for all dog sizes - including heated blankets in their front window during the winter and a big play space and pools in their yard. Boarding: our dog loves boarding at Prospect Bark. Their lower level is a combo of Murphy beds for free sleeping dogs and crates for dogs who need crate sleeping. They have staff who sat over with the dogs which is just the best. Care: everything from little personal hand-drawn pics of the dogs on the walls to “pupsicles” in the summer to Thanksgiving dinner and a holiday photo shoot, Prospect Bark is beyond like family to us and our dog. We love them and everything they do and have recommended them to many. They are exceptional! Beyond highly recommend!!

Prospect Bark is awesome!! If you love your dog you won’t board them anywhere else! I have searched many dog boarding places in Park Slope, and Prospect Bark is the absolute best by far! Best doggie daycare, boarding, sitting and walking in Brooklyn! My wife and I have been using ProspectBArk! since our dog (now 8 years) was 3 months old. We've done daily walking (for several years before covid), in-home sitting, daycare while we moved, and most recently an 8-day staycation at their daycare/boarding facility while we were in Japan. They have never let us down and always do an amazing job – really setting our minds at ease when we have to be away from our sweet doggie. They provide plenty of photo updates, respond quickly, and the facility is absolutely top notch. Clean, comfortable, and run by people who truly love animals.

Wish I could give ProspectBark more than 5 stars! They are absolutely the best! Our dog Lola absolutely loves coming here for daycare and overnights. You can tell how much the staff truly cares about all of the dogs that come here. We get the cutest photos and videos throughout the day (they send so many throughout the day, and you can tell how much fun all of the dogs are having) so we never have to wonder how she is doing & they always make us smile. They set up pools for the dogs during the Summer, organize different activities, and make healthy treats for the dogs too. The space is also extremely clean! This is truly such an incredible place and we always trust them to watch our dog Lola - she really has a BLAST here! I can't recommend ProspectBark enough!

ProspectBark is an incredible dog daycare. The staff is caring and competent. My wife and I leave our little baby Granger in their hands and know he’ll be loved and taken care of. ProspectBArk goes above and beyond for pets and their humans! They have been kitty sitting for us for years when we go on vacation, and we have only ever had positive experiences. Sitters are always professional, communicative, and provide lots of updates and pictures. Our cat, Frasier, was recently diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, so we were nervous about leaving him alone when we had to go out of town. When we entered new care instructions into the portal, the owner was kind enough to call and collaborate on a special care plan for him. She even delivered a cat water fountain to our home to make sure Frasier didn't get dehydrated! We were so touched by the kindness and our sitter, Doug, was clearly mindful of our anxiety and made sure to give us the best updates. We feel really lucky to have the staff at ProspectBArk in Frasier's corner (and ours!).

Cesar, Christian and the whole WW team are just the best! My dog is not very social and can be quite stubborn, and all of the walkers love her anyway! They accept all the animals where they are and shower them with treats and love. Josie, who doesn't like too many people, absolutely LOVES Cesar and his walkers. It is really fun to see her interact with them and her pack.

Cesar at Woofs & Wags was recommended by our dog trainer; Woofs & Wags has been walking our dog since 2021. Our rescue pup initially had separation anxiety, but Woofs & Wags eased him into group walks in Brooklyn, and he's been walking happily in a pack ever since. We like all their friendly dog walkers, and their app makes scheduling and payments very easy and convenient. We also board our dog with them; our dog has so much fun with them that he runs and leaps into Cesar's car during his pick-ups. We find W&W to be trustworthy and reliable; would highly recommend!

Our pup Archie absolutely loves the whole team at Woofs and Wags! He comes back from his twice weekly pack walks in Brooklyn happy and exhausted! We also love the personalized care Archie gets when he stays over for boarding as well. Cesar, Christian and their whole team of walkers are absolute professionals and very nice people to boot! I have been using Woofs and Wags for almost 2 years now! They are so amazing, trustworthy and knowledgeable. Pearl and Vienna are so lucky to have such an amazing team to walk them and to watch them while I am away on vacation. I always know my girls are in great hands! I love their new app that they use; it’s easy to schedule walks and lets me know when my girls get pick up and dropped off from their walk, and let’s me know if they went to the bathroom on their walk. Cesar and Christian are nothing short of amazing! My girl has pretty severe anxiety being outside as she was hit by a car almost a year ago. After meeting multiple walkers in the neighborhood, it was really clear Cesar and Christian were a great fit for us. As soon as my girl met Cesar she was smitten (she is incredibly selective on who she trusts and interacts with). I was so nervous on how she would do during the walks and Cesar, Christian, and Yana have all eased my worries. They send me updates and do whatever they can to help Millie with her anxiety. They are incredibly patient and kind. My partner and I have both been home a couple times when they came to pick her up and you can tell how much she loves them by how excited she gets! It is so nice to have these guys in the neighborhood. I always have peace of mind knowing my pup is in good hands with woofs & wags :)
