Kevin took great care of our two cats. He quickly got into their routine of meal times and was happy to let them in and out during the day. He kept their litter trays clean. He sent us photos morning and night time so we knew all was going well. When we returned home after our four days away, the house was immaculate. We definitely recommend Kevin and would be happy to have him back any time.

Anne took such excellent care of our dogs and the house while we were away! It was so easy to organise all of the details and she was so accommodating. It was a long stay and everything went smoothly, the dogs were very happy to be home and looked after so well. We are grateful for the extra care she took with details like watering the plants on some especially hot days - she treated our home like her own. We had no worries or concerns, she really put our minds at ease.

Ethna is such a lovely person and took incredible care of our terrier mix Skipper, and our apartment. She was incredibly kind to drive up to Galway to meet us the weekend before our trip, which completely put us at ease leaving Skipper with her for three weeks. She sent us regular updates and pictures, took Skipper with her on adventures and we could just tell that he absolutely loved her company. When we got back from our trip, the apartment was cleaner than we left it; she had so kindly washed the sheets and everything. It was so nice coming back from a lengthy trip to a clean apartment and dog! We are pretty sure Skipper was a little disappointed to see us get back (and have Ethna leave!) We would not hesitate at all to recommend Ethna to anyone. We would love to have her back sometime and hope to meet again soon.

We’re both honest , kind respectful tidy hardworking animal lovers.
Megan and Derek were excellent house/ pet sitters. They took our two dogs in their car to go on lovely long walks and administered medication to my older dog. My dogs were obviously well taken care of as on my return they were relaxed. The house was left spotless and they even put on laundry for linens they'd used. Megan sent photos and videos of the dogs on their walks and they took on their role of pet sitting with professionalism. I certainly would recommend Megan and Derek.

Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

Nia is a wonderful sitter - punctual, considerate, caring, and tidy, and also a lovely person, who I enjoyed spending time with before and after the sit. While I was away Nia sent photos and videos of my cats Tommy and Arthur every day, with witty updates and observations on their personalities and behaviours, and it was obvious that they adored her. Arthur has a mild neurological problem, so it was particularly reassuring to know that Nia feels especially connected to animals with specific physical or emotional needs, and knowing this contributed hugely to my peace of mind while I was away. Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.

My partner and I left our cat Mango in Lindsey's care for a month so that we could get married. We were going from FL to ME, so it was a long way from home. We were gone for a month. Picking the right houses sitter was important. We are so glad we picked Lindsey (and she picked us). From before Lindsey got on her plan to fly down, until she was back home again Lindsey was communicative, considerate and positive. We felt like we had a family member staying at our place and because of who she is, Mango and our home's well being was a weight off our mind during the wedding. Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!

Heidi was an outstanding cat sitter for my Luna! She was very communicable via calls or texts. She followed all my guidelines for feeding and care of Luna. Luna was very content when I arrived home thanks to Heidi! My home was immaculate when I arrived and she did some snow shoveling. Starling review for this kennel! I cannot recommend this kennel highly enough. From the moment I dropped my dog off, I knew she was in great hands. Very professional and calming demeanor from Johnny, facilities are spotless, ensuring some privacy for every dog. Johnny was quick to provide me with updates which gave me peace of mind, as my dog struggles with separation anxiety. It is very obvious that staff there genuinely loves animals. We have changed few kennels over the years and this is the first time she was back after a week time in great condition, no weight loss, happy and wiggly. Definitely coming back. Thanks Johnny
Only Recently heard of Madra Motel and we are so glad we did. Our Retriever is almost a year old and he is a hairy ball of energy. He loved his weekend stay here and was 100% himself when we brought him home, he was so excited and you could tell he fully enjoyed his stay here. (we only ever had one experience of a different kennels and Kai came home cowering and took him a few days to get back to his usual crazy character) 5 stars from us and Kai for Madra Motel.
Cannot recommend Jonathan and Madra Motel enough! Its our first time using a kennel for Monty and were put at ease immediately by Jonathan. Thank you for everything, we will be back and will recommend to all our family & friends!
Again another amazing holiday for both Kylie and Luna (2 engergetic labradors) and my girls and I. So amazing to be able to head away knowing that they are being so well looked after by Johnny. When I always pick Kylie and Luna up they are in such good form and when the get back home it's as if they haven't been away because Madra Motel is a home from home!!! Thanks again so much Johnny!!!!

Madra Motel Boarding Kennels have been a god send to us! Johnny & Rhona really care about dogs and their facilities are second to none! Johnny is always so responsive on Whatsapp making booking so easy and quick and he regularly sends us updates on our Rocky's stay! Rocky does have a great time there and we know he is so well looked after! I would have no hesitation recommending Madra Motel and just know your dog will be looked after by Johnny & Rhona like their own dogs!
The facilities here are clean, the owners great to deal with and the dogs happy! Our dog Lola stayed for two weeks and had lots of fun playing with the other dogs there and seemed almost depressed the night she came home with us! Jonny was very responsive, and was sending us videos of playtime via WhatsApp every few days to keep us informed. Last year, Lola stayed at a different kennel and came home filthy dirty and very smelly, but not so this year. 😃👍
My dog stays at Madra Motel from time to time. He loves it there. Johnny is so good with the dogs which makes it a lot easier to leave your dog there. I would really recommend this place
