Sharon and Jeff were great house sitters. Arriving early after we changed the times they came straight in and met the dogs. Mutual love at first sight. We returned to a clean and tidy house and happy, groomed dogs that have been sulking since they left. We went off confident that they could copy with everything which is just what you need when leaving for 2 weeks. Hopefully they will sit for us again with better weather !!

Sue was the perfect house sitter. She used her time here to explore the area and took my dogs Darcy and Lottie with her in her car. They went somewhere different every day walking, and Darcy had plenty of opportunities to swim. Sue sent photos and videos of their adventures and it was clear that the dogs were having a brilliant time. It was immediately apparent that my dogs were confident and very happy in her care, and I'm in no doubt that they would love to see her again. Sue's visit coincided with a few days of warm, dry weather so she ensured the plants in pots in the garden were watered. The house was clean and tidy on my return. Sue had stripped the bed and washed and dried the bedding, towels and tea towels. There was nothing for me to do but enjoy the flowers she had left around the house and sample the delicious jam she made while here. It was an absolute pleasure having Sue at my home and she will be welcomed back by us all if she ever wishes to come back.

Jennie & Alan house/ pet sitted with their daughter over the August bankholiday, which should have been a gorgeous summer weekend but storm Lillian had other plans. Jennie & Alan weren't phased by the weather which blew the bins over & lots of branches on the forest tracks but none of this stopped them enjoying days out & activities nearby. The house was lovely & clean on my return home with bed linen,towels all washed & drying- a few things out of place but Jennie was quick to messege me when I couldn't find things. The birds & cat seemed happy on my return & seemed well cared for in my absense- I appreciated some good photo's & updates on progress whilst away. I was pleased the house plants & greenhouse had been watered as guests often forget that duty. It's a pity we hadn't had an in- person contact handover at the start of the sit due to arrival timings but I sent video & written instructions to help them find everything & they where quick to ask if they needed local or other information. I'd happily have them to return sit & so glad their daughter enjoyed the pets & garden :)

Brenda and Steve are lovely people and wonderful pet sitters. We were able to meet them the week before the sit to introduce them to our dogs and home. Brenda and Steve are very reliable and self-sufficient. We were especially impressed that they arrived at 5.30am on the morning of our departure. They are obviously experienced with dogs which we found very reassuring. We wouldn’t hesitate to invite them again and recommend them to all.

Anastasia was a good housesitter. She communicated proactively, and the cats seemed happy in her company. She made sure to arrive well ahead of time despite some issues with the train service, regularly provided updates on how things are going, and was flexible around arrival and departure times. Linda and Stephen took care of our house and dog from May 24, 2024 through June 9, 2024. They took great care of our dog, Zoe. They kept the house clean and even some of the outside area after a Moroccan sandstorm. Our only complaint was that they ignored our request to keep things where they found them. We told them when they arrived that we had sitters that moved things so much that we were still looking for things three weeks later. So they then went on to move glasses into different cupboards, rearranged pots and pans, and took out of the refrigerator, a water bottle with cut lemons in it that is used to take to chorus. After 18 days, the water was spoiled and had to be discarded.

Florence and Robert were outstanding sitters. We asked them to arrive a day early as our guests to learn the routine on our farm. In getting to know them we found them to be good hearted, down to earth people with a love of animals and diligent in learning our routines to care for our poultry, cats and dog as well as our garden and orchard. Not a typical or easy sit. We travelled with ease knowing our critters were being well taken care of. Arriving home, the house was very clean and looked well cared for. The animals were healthy as were the garden and orchard. Out pets missed them when they left – our dog stared down the driveway after them until their car was out of sight. It is nice to find sitters we would like to hang out with and we look forward to having them sit for us again.

It was the first time we had left both our dog and our cat with a TH sitter and Kristi went above and beyond. We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. We highly recommend Daniel, and we ourselves would be thrilled to engage him again when the need arises.

Toby and Chloe were one of the best house sitters we have ever had! As a small animal vet I have seen many types of pet sitters and these guys are top notch. Our pets are not easy either. We have special needs dogs, cats on medication, dogs with behavioral issues, horses, chickens, goats and a large (100 lb) Sulcata tortoise who needed close monitoring of the temperature in his barn. Everyone was thriving and happy when we came home. They read through the packet and asked thorough, thoughtful questions. They went above and beyond grooming, mucking and grazing the horses and goats everyday. They chopped greens and fruit daily for our tortoise. If we had known how amazing they were we would have booked a 3 week trip instead! Can't recommend them enough.

Kathryn was such nice and kind sitter that both of my boyfriend and me were grateful to have, including my cats!! My cats seemed having great time with her, being around her, chilling on couch with her, or even sitting on her. I got several photos of my cats from her with whort updates. I’m thankful that she let me do facetimes with her when I missed my cats. The house was clean and tidy when we came back. I definately will ask her again to sit my cats and house when I need. Caroline is an amazing sitter ! We were far away, had never left our cat for such a long period of time and we felt really confident with her. She took great care of our cat Honey as well as she did for the house, pool and garden. She was even able to handle the end of the refection of the bathroom which was a last minute surprise… We felt Caroline was reliable and self sufficient. We had a great communication with her during our stay abroad. We even found many nice intentions when we came back from our vacations such as fresh fruits and bakeries for a nice and welcomed breakfast after a night in a plane ! We definitely recommend Caroline for your sittings and we will obviously call her back !

Pennee and Bill were the BEST pet sitters and guests ever! I really wanted them to stay forever ! Our cat, Miss Kitty bonded so much to them, that she really wasn’t that happy to see me when I got home .Our cat is a finicky eater and they tried all different types of food and treats for her. They sent me regular photos of miss kitty and I knew everything was great when most of the pics had miss kitty on their lap. Our cat doesn’t take to many people but she immediately fell in love with them. Pennee sent us our mail and prescription meds on a regular basis , and went out of her way to take care of any issues . They fell in love with the neighbors and community and just made our lives so easy . We experienced the Covid 19 virus outbreak quarantine during this time and Pennee and Bill agreed to stay a month longer at our home . They were extremely flexible with their travel plans so that everyone would be safe. Upon our arrival home, we were greeted with a bouquet of flowers , beautiful hanging basket of flowers for outdoors and a beautiful bottle of wine . And our house had never been cleaner ! Bill and Pennee are a pet owners dream couple !I felt extremely lucky to have found such a great petsitter and new friend . We will be visiting each other in the future .

We've had many pet/house sitters over the last few years and Cat and Eugene will reside at the top of the list of favorites! From my first email with Cat I knew I liked her. She has all of the qualities of a good house and pet sitter: Reliable, a good listener, organized, flexible, caring, and honest. She and Eugene arrived exactly on time for our pre-sit visit, where they got to meet Maya and become familiarized with the house. It was a delight to visit with them and become comfortable knowing Maya would be in good hands. Our scheduled dates changed somewhat and they were extremely flexible and easy going about the changes. Upon our return home, we found the house pretty much in the exact condition we left it in. I can tell that great care was taken for Maya and for the house. Maya seemed to still be looking for them the next day, wandering around the house wondering where the other people who loved her went. I would recommend Cat and Eugene for anyone looking for reliable, kind, respectful, caring, tidy, and honest sitters. If I am lucky, I will get to have them back to sit for me again.
